We reserved a spacious private room just for the four of us.
The oversized couch could've fit all of us lying down with room to spare.
To my surprise, the place was littered with... interesting props—feathers, handcuffs, and other not-so-subtle accessories that made my cheeks flush the second I noticed them.
The moment I sat beside Quentin, his hands started roaming.
I glanced over and—oh my God—Luna and Felix were already tangled up in each other, completely lost in their own world.
The sight sent heat rushing to my face and my pulse skyrocketing.
Today had already been too much—first Felix teasing me, then Quentin fanning the flames. I was wound up tight, barely holding it together.
How was I supposed to handle this?
One look at them, and I was frozen, my whole body burning. But I couldn't just throw caution to the wind here.
Desperate, I took a gulp of wine to wet my dry throat.
Then I felt it—a sudden chill under my dress as Quentin's fingers slid up my thigh.
I snapped my legs shut, trapping his hand.
Big mistake.
He only smirked and leaned in, his voice low and tempting. "Evelyn... let's join in."
I shook my head, clinging to the last shred of my self-control.
No way. A little teasing was one thing, but I had my limits.
Just then, Luna grabbed Felix's wrist and dragged him into the bathroom, slamming the door before cranking the music up loud enough to drown out... well, everything.
There was no guessing what they were about to do.
Quentin dropped to his knees in front of me, breath ragged, and crushed his mouth to mine.
I didn't resist as he pushed me back against the couch.
Between feverish kisses, he growled, "Did you have fun with Felix today?"
"Why—why are you asking that?" I clung to him, refusing to entertain the question.
But he didn't let up. "You were laughing so much with him. I want to know—who makes you happier? Me or him?"
I could taste the jealousy on his tongue. Remembering how he'd been with Luna earlier, I bit back, "Yeah, I had a really good time."
Quentin pinned me deeper into the cushions, his kisses turning desperate. "How good?"
I was already on fire. My eyes flicked toward the bathroom just as a red dress went flying out the door.
Yeah. They weren't coming back anytime soon.
Then Quentin cuffed my wrists and tied a blindfold over my eyes.
In the dark, every touch burned hotter.
I shivered, nerves and anticipation twisting together.
His breath scorched my ear as he demanded, "Tell me. How good was it?"
Past the point of holding back, I leaned in and whispered, "He... he pressed against me..."
A little teasing never hurt anyone.
Quentin groaned. "Do you want that again?"
I was done fighting it. Reaching over, I turned the music up louder. "Yes... let's do it."
"Good. I'll make sure you enjoy it."
Wait—that voice wasn't right.
I ripped off the blindfold to find Felix grinning down at me.
