A quick block-and-delete—gone, just like that.
Trash belongs in the dumpster.
The thought of those three made me want to torch the whole apartment.
Without a second thought, I listed the place on social media, slashing the price by $200K for a fast sale.
Within thirty minutes, a buyer messaged me—said they wanted it as their future marital home.
I sent the floor plan immediately.
They loved it. The deposit hit my account before I could blink.
Even then, I had to warn them: "Just so you know, the place isn't… clean. Better as an investment, not a home."
They hesitated. "Wait—is this one of those… ash apartments?"
I shook my head. "No. I lived here. But after some disgusting people moved in, the whole place feels contaminated. I have OCD—hence the discount."
Their reply? A single facepalm emoji.
I sent the door code and set up a viewing for 7 PM the next day, dropping a location pin.
The late slot was intentional. If those parasites wouldn't leave on their own, I'd give myself an extra hour to drag them out by force.
But work ran late. By the time I got there, it was 6:30 PM.
The second I opened the door, my blood turned to ice.
The living room was thick with hazy smoke. Bodies sprawled everywhere—sofa, floor, kitchen.
Luna Evans slumped against the wall, head lolling, a vacant, drugged-out grin on her face.
Quentin Lowell staggered toward me, pupils blown, movements jerky—obviously high.
Felix Winston's glassy eyes locked onto me. "We've been waiting for you."
My stomach dropped. I spun to run, but Felix was faster—his fist tangled in my hair, wrenching me backward.
A scream caught in my throat as he slammed me to the floor. Quentin slithered over, pinning my limbs like a snake.
"Quick—give her a hit," Luna urged, eyes wild. "Let her have some fun. Let her be like us."
Felix flicked a syringe, a thin arc of liquid spraying from the needle.
"Let me go! STOP!"
My thrashing only made them grip harder.
"You'll love this, Evelyn," Quentin purred. "One shot, and you'll beg for more."
Felix smirked. "Miss High-and-Mighty, too good for partner-swapping, huh? Let's see how long that lasts." His hands shook with excitement.
I knew—if that needle went in, I was done.
I bucked violently.
Felix swore as my thrashing threw off his aim. "Someone hold her still!"
Quentin straddled me. Luna stormed over, slapped me five times, then stomped on my fingers.
White-hot pain tore a scream from me. Tears flooded my vision.
I went limp.
Then—the doorbell rang.
All three froze.
7 PM. The buyer.
I sucked in air to shout, but a hand clamped over my mouth.
"Drag her to the bathroom. NOW," Felix hissed.
Quentin and Luna hauled me toward the Jacuzzi, yanking the shower curtain shut.
Through the gap, I saw a man's silhouette at the door before Felix blocked the view.
Muffled voices. I knew Felix would sweet-talk him into leaving—and my last chance would vanish.
I had to make noise.
Luckily, this Jacuzzi had a secret feature—a vibration-sensitive jet, activated by pressing a hidden bead with my foot.
Perfect angle. The spray would hit Luna square in the face.
Her scream would be my SOS.
