Time at home was wonderful. You know how kids leave for college and they are all like 'nah, I'm never returning here anymore. Bye bye town, bye bye parents'? Well, most of the time that's bullshit. Home sweet home always finds of way of getting back at you and proving itself right.
My mom was all over me in a good way that made me feel extra special and like a foreigner. Dad cooked the best meal of all time and I say this with the knowledge that all his meals are awesomely fantastic. Tricia had a lot of stories to tell, you'd think I had been gone her whole life and now she had to recount it to me.
Percy also had stories to tell but he wasn't his usual self- playful and nonchalant, no. It's like he had suddenly grown ten years older and he was all over the place with his son. Mom and everybody always helped out but clearly it wasn't enough and being a new unplanned father was really taking it's toll on him. Coupled with the fact that he had to break up with Spencer. It's almost been a year but anyone could see he wasn't over it yet, I doubt he'd ever be. Seeing him like this made me realize just how much of a good decision he made in setting Spencer free. It was too much on him and if he had to join Spencer into the entire thing, I was a hundred percent sure he wouldn't forgive himself. He could hardly concentrate on himself talk-more of a baby and a boyfriend.
But the admirable thing was that Percy wasn't giving up. Despite the frustration he was really putting in his best to smile and be a good dad, graduate from college and also work part-time at the gym. I don't think I could ever do it if the roles were reserved.
And then my nephew was a total adorable kid- Cal, Percy called him. He looked a lot like Percy and by extension, like me too. Seeing him made me smile and wonder what my baby would look like.
I giggled to myself; my baby. Tch, I must losing my mind. I don't know if Seb would want a child, hell I don't even know if I would want a child.
"What are you laughing about?" Percy asked, coming to meet me in the living room where I was lying on the rug comfortably with Cal. We had just had the best meal ever and everybody else was in the kitchen cleaning up. I could hear my mom and dad laughing together and it just gave me a nostalgic feeling.
"Nothing serious. I love this little guy."
Percy rolled his eyes, coming to seat beside me on the floor too. "Don't be deceived by those cheeks and eyes, he's a real devil when he wants to be."
I chuckled, nudging Percy with my shoulder. "How you holding up? You look 28 by the way."
"Just 28?" He massaged his jaw. "Are you sure it's not 50. I feel 50." I laughed and he did too, ending with a sigh. "Argh, I'd be so unattractive when I go back to get Spence. Do you think he'd be interested in dating a grandpa?"
"Spence? Yeah, he's always been into the weird ones. You being the king of them all so, I don't think he'd mind you being more than 30 years older."
"Right? Right."
"When are going for him?"
Percy bit his lip. "Definitely not now. I'm still a mess, I'm not ready and he's doing so well. You should him, currently he's in Malaysia for the week and oh my God, you should see him looking so beautiful and alive." He shook his head to himself. "I can't go to him now like this... with all my baggage."
"Perce, you know you're not that bad right?"
Percy scoffed. "The other day I almost left Cal at the gym counter. The fucking counter. Then I punched my hand through a punching bag a week ago. Do you know how scared I am that that could be Spencer's face?"
Now I scoffed. "You could never hurt Spencer."
"No, not directly." He sighed again, lifting Cal up the rug and gently placing him on his body, rubbing circles on his back. "I almost left you know. Months back. Cal was with Mom, I packed, took the train to Seattle, went halfway and stopped. Then came right back."
"What?" I couldn't believe it. "Why did you come back?"
Percy shrugged. "I couldn't leave him. I mean what kind of guy would I be to Spence if I couldn't even be loyal to my fucking kid." Then his eyes widen. "Oops, fudging. I said fudging Cal."
I laughed and he joined too. "Percy I promise, when you do find your way back to Spencer. Everything is going to click right back and you both would be so lucky to have each other."
Percy smiled, "anyway, enough about me. How's your tree of a boyfriend?"
I smiled, "fine. I'm even supposed to go meet him now." I got up. "See ya."
"Use a condom." He advised, winking at me.
"Shut up."
I changed to new clothes and mom packed up dinner for Sebastian. I bade everyone goodnight and left, finding my way to my boyfriend's house. It wasn't strange at all, everybody knew I lived there, even more than I lived at the family house. My mom grew tired of talking and there was no need talking now even because no way I'm ever going to sleep alone on my bed when my boyfriend who I've missed in forever was streets away.
"I'm home!" I yelled, getting into the door that I met open. "Sebastian, stop leaving your door open. Anybody could have walked in."
"And I'd just punch their teeth right out and escort them back out," he said, coming out the kitchen dressed in shorts and a really tight white t-shirt. The sight caught me off guard and my tongue went dry for a second.
"I-its still dangerous."
Sebastian smirked, walking closer to me and closing the distance between us. He was chewing on something, clearly bubblegum and once his face was close enough, he blew the pink bubble out and took it back in, wrapping his hands around me. "I'm dangerous."
"Sebastian," I called, not because I was scolding him but I couldn't help it. His name just slipped out my tongue like a moan as my cells and organ crumbled at his touch. This feeling couldn't be normal at all.
"Fine. I'd be careful," he said, taking it as scolding.
I wiggled out his hold and held out the bag in my hand to his face. "I brought dinner."
He smiled, quickly snatching the bag off my hand. "Your dad? Damn that man can cook. Makes me feel like dating him instead."
I smacked him, pouting and making him laugh loudly. "I can cook too!" Sebastian's laugh was so loud and sweet, I almost caved in and laughed too but I resisted and frowned instead. "And he's already married you asshole."
He hugged me, almost squeezing my dinner out of me. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding. Even if you can't cook, it's you and you alone."
I smiled but pretended to be annoyed as I tried to wiggle out his hold. "Leave me alone."
"Never," he kissed my cheek. "Never," he kissed the other cheek. "Never," he kissed my nose.
I was already a giggling mess. "Fine, fine! I get it!"
"You're sure?" He asked and I quickly nodded. "One more," he whispered and then his lips were on mine before I could even blink.
I responded immediately, eyes closing shut and eagarly kissing him back, my fingers finding my way into his soft silk hair. My tongue sort his this time and the moment they grazed each other, a low moan sounded from Seb as his hands tightened on my waist. My mind was spinning and all I wanted to do was eat him up or have him eat me up, either way, I didn't mind. But Seb clearly had other plans because his pulled away almost immediately. Hands still tight on my body, eyes still closed and biting on his lip.
"What?" I asked but I barely heard myself with the low whisper. He didn't say anything and just slowly shook his head, eyes still closed. I looked over his face, marveling at how such an Adonis was mine and my admiration was cut short when I noticed the white powder dust on his hair and now my hand. "Um, why do you have flour on your hair?"
Seb pulled away from me, doing a little spin before he was looking at me again, wearing a little cute smile. "I'm making cake."
I blinked. "Cake?" I ran the data through my head. It was nobody's birthday, none that I know of.
He nodded. "I didn't know how else to celebrate your coming and it was on short notice. I panicked and started baking and before you know it, it was too late to stop."
I smiled, "do you even know how to bake?"
He shrugged, "everything is on YouTube now right?"
I laughed, "oh my God. Flour is in your fucking hair."
"Doesn't that happen?" He asked, touching his hair with his adorable confused look. I slowly shook my head. "Shit."
I laughed, "let me check on your cake."
"No, no," he stopped me by placing both his hands on my shoulder. "It's supposed to be a surprise, you're not going in there now."
"Oh."
"Yep," he released me, reaching into his pants pocket. "You should even go buy pizza now."
"Pizza?" I raised a brow. "I brought food."
"Yeah it's an excuse to send you out so I can properly finish your surprise."
"Oh."
"Yeah, so bye."
I laughed, "you know you don't have to, right? I was already pretty surprised at the airport."
He rolled his eyes, "well, it's already happening. I've already bought-"
"No no, don't tell me," I cut him off. "Let it be a surprise like you've already planned."
He smirked. "Cute." I blushed and he chuckled. "Now go."
I came closer to kiss him and he put his hands on my shoulders to stop me. "Nope, please don't kiss me Flynn because I'm going to fuck up this surprise and fuck you right here on the couch."
My jaw literally fell. I stared at him for a moment before I literally closed my mouth back, spun on my heel and led myself out the building silently. Outside the door, I laugh and blush all to myself, "you're the one who's cute Sebastian Crown."
I dallied on my way to buy the pizza, ended up bumping into two of my former classmates and bought drinks that could get Seb and I drunk. I was really excited and I didn't even know what surprise he had planned. I just wanted to spend time together with him at last and it wasn't surprising that my heart was beating like I was back in highschool junior year and going on a date. I guess love is ageless. Ever young, ever pure. I could already imagine all the dates Seb and I would be having when he moved and came to college. The thought itself made my heart swell with joy and left me giggling like a mad man on the streets.
"I'm back," I yelled, opening up the door and getting in. The whole place was dark and I could perceive roses and a whole lot of other beautiful scents in the air. I smiled, gently dropping down the bag of things I bought. "Seb?"
The light suddenly turned on and standing a few feet from me was my Sebastian Crown, still in his shorts but completely shirtless with a rose between his teeth. I almost burst out laughing at the sight, then music came on and he started moving his hips slowly to the rhythm, making his way towards me. Now I couldn't hold my laughter in as it bubbled out of me uncontrollably and my entire body burned hot and red. His body was a spectacle to behold, defined pecs, biceps, triceps and a mouth watering six pack. His muscles didn't even need any extras to make them glow, they did so on their own with his tanned slightly golden skin. Anyone could tell he was a hard worker, still a prince but now a hard-working prince.
Seb closed the distance between us, the third time in one day. I wonder how many more I can take before my heart gives out. I could get used to this. He smiled shyly at me- shy and sly at the same time- giving me the rose and calling my name in a way that somehow had a ripple effect on me. "Flynn."
I swallowed, taking the rose from him and unconsciously biting my lip to keep the blush in. "Seb." I placed my hands on his body and almost moaned at the sizzling feeling. "Wha- it's not even my birthday."
He shrugged, his fingers finding my hair and pushing it back. "I don't need your birthday to make you the feel like the king, in my little way of course."
I chuckled. "This is not little and no, you don't. You do it everyday." I leaned up on my toes, wrapping my hands around him and pressing my lips over his. He kissed me right back, his hands somehow finding their way around me and lifting me up. I broke off the kiss, giggling and wrapping my legs around him.
Seb kissed me again and started moving. When we were by the little hallway leading to the bathroom, I had to break off to see the scented candles lining the walls. My heart swelled and bursted, and swelled again and bursted. Finally he got me into the bathroom and there on the bathtub was a really foamy bath that had little petals of flowers on it. Different flowers this time.
"Seb," I called, my voice cracking as my eyes stung with tears. I hugged him tighter, burying my head in the crook of his neck as I tried and failed to stop the tears. He chuckled rubbing my back and helping me down to my feet.
On the side of the bathroom was the cake he baked and two glasses containing what looked like wine. I remembered one time I told him I'd love taking long foamy baths together in the bathtub, that was why I choose the bigger tub when the house was still being put together and he promised that we'd do it one day. I guess this was the day.
"I love you Flynn and heaven knows I've missed you," Seb said, slowly getting me out my clothes.
I sniffled. "I've missed you too you sneaky boyfriend."
He laughed, "I wouldn't say sneaky."
"I would say," I said, watching him get rid of his shorts and feeling the very air I breathe leave me. "A-aren't you g-going to work?"
He chuckled, "Really Flynn." I gulped, taking my eyes back to his eyes. They looked darker and electrified. "I took a week break for you."
"Oh."
He made his way into the tub, making the foam rise way up to the brim and turned to me, stretching a beckoning hand out. "Care to join me?"
"If I say no, would you let me?"
He blinked, totally not expecting that. I raised my brow at him. "Uh..." His finger went up to his hair. "I guess..."
I giggled, gently throwing myself into his arms and hearing the water overflow a little. "As if!"
----
(Three days later)
"Seb, where exactly did you drop the tickets?!" I yelled out, walking into the room to check for it. Seb was going crazy looking for it in the living room. "Are you even sure you brought it home?"
"Should be in a drawer, I swear I put it somewhere in here!" Seb yelled back.
I chuckled to myself, his carelessness was something else. I started opening the bedside drawers one by one searching for it. There was a big brown envelope and when I removed it to drop on the bed, the contents inside slipped right out. "Shit." I left the drawer, turning around to pick up the fallen papers and they looked like documents. Turning them around, my eyes caught the title. "Property deed?"
My eyes skimmed over the document and it looked like documents that proved that Seb owned a building. A bar.
"The fuck?"
