"Okay, I know you'd think I don't know much about bars, I mean, figures since I haven't been to much in my life," I was saying to Sebastian and his other co worker - or now, employees - that were staring at us like we were their favorite television show. "But I've browsed a lot about bars and if my Pinterest board should tell you anything, it's that the pictures are supposed to go over there and the chairs over here. I'm being very serious."
"I know you are Flynn," Seb said, closing the distance between us and putting his hand around my shoulder angling us so we could see from a different point of view. Like I haven't gone through every option already. "But then this is how it was before and it was working just fine and nobody was complaining."
"Of course they were not complaining but nobody had a sense of style when they are drunk, and you want to do something here in the day time, don't you?" I pouted and stomped my feet. "Listen to me Seb, I swear you're going to like it when I'm done and if you don't, we'd just change it back."
His lips twitch in a smile and he immediately frowns seconds after like the smile took him by surprise. He cleared his throat and flicked my nose. "When I'm at odds with you, it's cheating if you do that face and behave so cute. Not fair."
I grinned, "so yes?"
"You know it's yes already."
I squealed, jumping up and smacking his cheek with my lips. "You won't regret it. Promise, I'm following your style, likes and aesthetics."
"You better be. If you turn this place to look like our room, I'd tear you apart."
I stopped and turned to him with a raised brow. "What's wrong with our room?"
He shrugged. "Nothing, I tear you apart in there, don't I?"
My eyes go wide and my face, down to my neck and possibly my whole body went hot and red. I craned my neck to look at his employees and their expressions are almost matching mine. I quietly turned around and ran. "Don't you dare come near me."
From the other side I could hear his loud laughter and I couldn't help laughing silently too. Sebastian Crown would be the death of me.
I start rearranging and decorating with place and I have two employees to help me out. Seb already fixed the paint, walls and floors, we fixed changed the chairs and stools, the bar was looking brand new. It was also stocked full with all kinds of drinks, alcohol and non-alcohol. He was almost done with the lights and when I was done with this part, the work would be done and Seb's bar would be ready for open night. It was still the same bar and at the same spot but he changed the name of the bar to "Prince" and we did a little bit of marketing and advertisement both online and with actual flyers. His opening night needed to be explosive and everyone could tell from the way he was running up and down, that it meant so much to him.
I couldn't believe I almost made him give this up. I couldn't believe he almost gave this up for me. Apart from when we're together I've never seen his eyes light up like this for anyone or anything else, I've never seen him this serious about anything else and he said more than five words and smiled with his former co workers and now employees. It was like I was seeing a whole new different side of him, a good side. Seeing him take charge of things and boss people around was also incredibly hot, we've had countless sex with that role in mind. I never knew he could care about the little details like a scratch on the wall or a bent chair until now. It was like this was his calling. This was his thing.
"Honestly I never knew Sebastian could laugh that hard or even talk that much until you," one of the employees who was helping me out, stated while we pushed the chairs.
"What? Are you serious?" That was sarcasm because like... duh.
"Yes," she was taking me serious and then I felt guilty. "Like some days he comes to work and he just says like ten words. Most of them is when he's telling us to do one thing or the other and the rest of it is him muttering to himself about how shitty our boss is."
I chuckled, "he says ten words? He must really like you guys." She looked at me with surprise eyes and we both laugh. "He barely talks unless absolutely necessary."
"But he's a chatterbox with you."
I shrugged. "Yes... he loves me."
"Awn, oh my gosh, you guys are so adorable."
I leaned in closer to her. "Mostly me, right?"
She laughed. "Mostly you."
I smiled. "I'm so happy he has you guys here. It's amazing what you all have done with the place."
"Yes, Sebastian really knows what he's doing and he's devoted to it. It's what other bosses lack and what would make me and us all leave any position in any other place, just because we want to work with him." She nodded to herself. "Your boyfriend is a genius."
As if on cue, Seb walked by with four people behind him and he seemed to be explaining something about the DJ spot and the lights. I watch his tall frame and long legs walk and when my eyes finally reach his face, he's already looking at me and he winked, giving me a small smile before he walked out my sight. I blushed, picking up the decorating pillows and squeezing them tight.
"Yes, he is."
Me and the lady I later found out was named Julia, kept working and talking and she had a lot to tell me about Sebastian and his work ethics and stories with costumer, some of which I have already heard and we laughed about them together. When we were down, Sebastian loved the place just like I promised. I might have insisted on changing the look but I wasn't doing it completely on my taste but of his. This was his place, after all. I could do whatever I want with our house and room.
"Muah," Seb loudly kissed my forehead, his arm around me again as he looked at what I'd done with the place. "How are you so intelligent?" He shook his head to himself with a smile. "I love it. I love you. I love your smartness."
I giggled, "stop. Your workers are here. Exercise decorum."
He scoffed at me. "I'm the boss. I get to decide what decorum is in my bar and that word has no place when it comes to me and you."
"Oh yeah?" I laughed.
He wiggled his brows at me. "Your boyfriend is the boss. The prince of Prince."
I blushed, looking away as I felt my inside tingle. "Stop it."
He kissed my hair this time. "You're going to do the same to the VIP room, yeah?"
"Of course, even more."
"Knock yourself out babe, I trust you," he walked away but not before pinching my ass.
"Seb!"
"When you're done, come to my office."
I pinched my brows together. "Why?" I've already worked on his office, was the first place even.
Seb laughed, "I'd rather not say." He spun around and left after a little dance movement.
I stared after him in awe and left to go continue my work although I couldn't think of anything else but being bent over his desk for the seventh time since I came to town, three weeks ago. And my face was in a permanent state of ketchup red, there was no helping it. Seb was so happy it was a bit surreal, I was glad to be present, to be a part of that happiness and I hoped I'd always be present whenever he was like this. Although all other eyes around were telling me he was like this because I was present.
Seb's plan to expand Prince from a bar to a big night club, so this process wasn't nearly done for us and I actually thought I'd get tired and frustrated but I was excited and happy. I couldn't wait to see all he would do with the place and I believed in him so much. He needed that.
Once everything was done and set, we changed into the work shirts I printed and were all impatiently waiting for seven pm. We had a bouncer by the entrance and another at the exist and one other in the bar. Everybody had identical shirts with their roles written boldly at the back. Seb's said, 'Manager' and mine just said Flynn. I wasn't really working at the bar after all.
"This shirts are so lit," Julia gushed, spinning around and the others followed. "This night is going to be amazing."
"Let's all toast together before the place gets packed," one guy with so many tattoos said, bringing out shots.
Seb rubbed his palms together, he had his eyes fixed on the door. "We don't know if it's going to get packed."
I roll my eyes, "of course it is." I place a hand over his chest, getting him to look at me. "Listen." The place went pin drop quiet and we could hear chattering and footsteps from outside. Seb smiled at me. "Packed is going to be an understatement, trust me."
I get a text from Ryder; I'm here with the whole family! We're standing out and omg Pax, I feel like I'm going to fly from excitement. Whaatttt!
I laughed and shoot her back a text asking if she wanted me to come get her in.
Nope. For today I'm going through the whole process. I'm going to experience everything, see ya in a minute or more because this line...phew.
I pocket my phone and turned back to the workers and Seb. Seb handed me a small shot.
"Cheers!"
We drank, wishing ourselves good-luck for the night and Seb pulled me into his embrace, wrapping his hands around me and kissing my hair. I sighed, loving the comfort, warmth and love oozing out of him. This was what I sighed up for years back in high school.
The hour arrived and just like I predicted the bar was packed full with people. Some people couldn't even get in when we reached our max. Seb was all over the place, it was like he was ten people at the same time and you'd think he would crack under the pressure and responsibility but I could hardly see a sweat on his face. He was used to this and was completely in his element.
"Is it always this full?" I asked, lining shots out on tray for Linda while tattoo boy pours a drink into it.
"It's usually packed but this night is actually a lot, Sebastian must know a lot of people," she smiled, before picking her tray and sashaying off.
"Pax!" Ryder yelled coming towards the bar and I rush out, opening my arms wide for her to jump into.
"Ry, you're in!" I kissed her cheek and she kissed mine.
"Yes! This place, oh my goodness!"
Behind Ry was Nancy, Stella, Fern, Jordy, Sim and a blue haired girl... oh wait, that's probably not a girl— a blue haired person. They were all looking around the place in amazement and satisfaction.
I drew Ry closer, whispering into her ear. "You came with both Jordy and Fern?"
She wiggled her brows. "Yup."
I smile knowingly. "Wait, do they know? Is Fern pretending not to have, you know, smashed you?"
"No," she looked back at them. Fern and Jordy looked to be having a conversation. And she returned back to me. "I told Jordy about Fern." My jaw dropped and she squealed. "Yes, it was crazy, I was so scared she'd run. But she didn't. They met up and at first, oh my gosh, it was so awkward I was regretting. But now," Ry shrugged. "We're like a thing now?"
"A throuple?" I mouthed exaggeratedly, not believing my ears but like in a very good way.
"No, we haven't talked about any exclusivity or relationship. We just hang out and we've had threesome sex twice now."
My hand go up to my mouth as I stare at her with pride. "I leave you for three weeks, Ry!"
She laughed. "That's a lot and you've been very busy. God, I can't believe Sebastian owns this. I've always known he was more than just a Greek god eye candy sex appeal."
I gave her a look and decide to brush it off for my sanity. "Don't you dare change the subject."
She laughed, Jordy was already beckoning her over. "I'd tell you all about it later but just imagine sex with two Sebastians."
"Um, nope," I shook my head. "The only thing I see while doing that is the heart monitor beeping crazily as I die." I shook my head again. "Some things are just not meant to be double," then I eye her. "Others are."
"Yes, baby," she blew me a kiss and ran into the arms of Jordy. Then Fern puts his hand around both of them as they walk farther into the bar. Ry looked so happy, she was glowing and I was so happy for her.
Nancy and Stella come to hug me and we exchange pleasantries and congratulations before they leave, after making me promise to introduce them to Seb before they leave.
"Damn, Roommate, you and your boyfriend have to be super humans to pull this off." Sim said as we shook hands and did a 'bro' hug.
"This was all Seb, Sim, he's a freaking genius," I said proudly.
"Glow any more and your just combust into a galaxy," he teased. I used my eye to motion towards his friend and then he smiled, introducing us. "Yeah, Pax, this is El, my dear friend and El, this is Pax, my roommate."
I smiled shaking their hand. Now I saw what Sim was talking about. El, really wasn't like anybody I've encountered before. Their aura was strong and oozed confidence and danger, despite the fact that they looked petite and beautiful. El had long cotton candy blue hair, her eyes were very blue too, it made it almost look like they had contacts on. They had a brow piercing on both brow edge and one ring piercing at the corner of their bottom lip. Their skin was pale white and I could tell they used makeup to try and hide the many freckles dusting their nose and cheeks.
"It's nice to meet you Paxton," El said and their voice caught me off guard. It wasn't the kind of voice you'd expect from someone so small and beautiful. It wasn't a girl's voice and it wasn't a man's voice either. It didn't have the bass, but it had the rough edge to it. It was like they had cold but they didn't because it was so smooth and natural. Their voice reminded me of smooth tiny granite stones. "Sim, here has told me so much about you."
I could fall asleep listening to this voice, and at the same time I wouldn't dare fall asleep because I want to hear more, the different variants of it.
"Paxton?" Sim called and I snapped out my thoughts, turning to him.
"Yeah?" He raised a brow as if telling me not to embarrass him and I turned to see El looking at me expectantly. I was still holding their hand. I quickly let go, blushing in embarrassment. "Shit, sorry, I must have blanked out."
They blushed too and Sim laughed. "It's fine, El has that effect on a lot of people."
"Yeah," El nodded, pursing their lips then smiling. "Totally normal."
"It's so nice to meet you El," I playfully punched. "Sim has talked about you too."
"Pax!"
"Great, I guess I don't have to talk about my pronouns then?"
I nodded, "yup, no need to."
They nodded at me, before taking Sim's hand, "Come on, I want to go see the DJ."
I watched them go before returning back to the bar and helping out. I was happy to meet El and I couldn't wait to return back to school and get to know them, Fern and Jordy better. Something told me the coming year was going to be so much more fun.
Work continued and a point, I got tired and joined my friends on the dance floor, sharing drinks and dance moves for a while before returning back. Seb and I exchanged glances a couple time as he ran around and they made me smile. At some point, he came back to the counter and after an hour or so, he takes my hand and leads us both into his office.
"Seb, the bar?" I asked, watching him close the door.
"What happened to it?" He asked, feigning obliviousness.
I rolled my eyes. "Stop it, we have to go back."
"Stop what?" He walked around me to his desk. A lot of papers were littered on it.
"We can't do this now. The place is still packed," I told him with a pout.
He laughed, "do what exactly?"
"Seb!"
He grabbed my waist, pulling me into his body, in between his legs as he sat on the edge of the table. "Get your mind out of the gutter Flynn, I just want to rest with you. My feet hurts a bit."
"Oh?"
"Yeah," he hugged me. "Now relax, your cute ass is still saved."
I smacked him. "Sebastian."
"Mm," he rocked us lightly, then brought out his phone and played Only You by Jonah Mutono. Then he held me tighter, closing his eyes. I hugged him back, the only sounds in the room was our heartbeats and the song. We watched a movie with this song a week back and that was all I played for three days straight.
We stayed there in each other's embrace until the song ended and then it started playing Fire On Fire by Sam Smith, it was totally my playlist. Sebastian stood up, my eyes followed him in askance and he smiled, and bowed like a ball dancer, extending his hand out to me.
I laughed, "your crazy." But I hold hand with mine, bowing too. Our hands entwined and Sebastian put his hand around my waist and pulled me smack against his body, literally knocking the breath out of me as our eyes met and causing me to gasp.
We don't say anything, our eyes stay locked as we moved to the song, dancing the only way we knew how. There was spin involved, a jump with Seb carrying me up and the dramatic end that had my back arched supported by one of his hand, leg hanging over the other. Our eyes stay locked and Seb pulled me back up. I had tears on my cheek, not because I was sad but because I was too happy and almost overwhelmed by it.
His hand cupped my face, electric blue eyes looking glossed up as he wiped my tears away. His nose touched mine and he gently bit on my upper lip. I shuddered, eyes closing as more tears escaped.
"I-I love you Sebastian."
His mouth opened, lips capturing mine. It was like he had words in his tongue and they were so deep, saying them would do no justice. We both moaned as we kissed, my legs feeling like they wanted to give up on me. Moans flew around the room and our legs kept moving until my back was against wall, my whole body and his on fire. I tasted tears in the kiss and I had no idea if it was just mine or his.
I love you.
I love you.
Flynn! I love you!

"Okay, I know you'd think I don't know much about bars, I mean, figures since I haven't been to much in my life," I was saying to Sebastian and his other co worker - or now, employees - that were staring at us like we were their favorite television show.
I love you.
I love you.
Flynn! I love you!
