My Princessa - Chapter 55: Chapter 55

"Am sorry they ruined your day" nonna said stroking my hair softly and l sighed. She came to my room after l left the living room in a fit of anger. l was laying my head on her lap while she was soothing me.
"Am not upset at them really" l said thinking out loud. My brothers had a way of getting in my nerves but usually it was just a playful banter but for so,e reason today l took it too personally.
"You developed a crush" she said looking at me thoughtfully and l just nodded. l like Killian the very second l saw him and if just bothered me that my brothers knew him and that obviously means that they won't want me anywhere near him.
"Yeah but it's fine because it's not like he likes me as well or anything, l mean what's to like about me anyway "l said starring into space but nonna pulled my face to look at her.
"What's not to like about you" she said holding my chin and l smiled.
"You're my grandma so you're supposed to say that" l said but l shook her head repeatedly.
"You're the most beautiful girl l have ever seen. Those blue eyes that made me fall for your nonno,that silky blonde hair that you obviously inherited from me, those big bangs that l wish l could cut of though your dad would bury me alive" she said and l couldn't help but feel emotional.
"l love you to the world and back nonna" l said to her because she has been more of my mother than my own mother ever could. l can't imagine how alone l would be if they had left. Sure l love my dad and brothers but having nonna here is really special because l have someone to talk to ,someone who won't tease me or go all overprotective on me.
"How about we go make you something to eat and you apologize to your brother for snapping at him" nonna said.
"But he--"
"No Rosabella, your brother is older than you which means you'll treat him and respect him as such "she continued standing up and pulling me with her.
To my displeasure everyone was still in the living room.
Nonno was reading a soccer magazine, dad was going through some files , my three older brothers on their laptop and Alex was on his phone.When they noticed us they all turned their attention at me but l refuse to be bullied by their demanding gazes.
"Leonardo l would like to apologize for snapping at you " l said in all seriousness and l saw Alex's mouth twitch.
"It's so mature of you to apologize after making a mistake so l forgive you" he said opening his arms for me and l hugged him.
"All is well that ends well" Alex said turning his attention back to the phone in his hands.
"Actually if l remember correctly Bella didn't answer her brothers question " dad said looking at me sternly.
"Did you talk to Killian Ivanov" he said in a harder tone that Leonardo's.
"No " l said too quickly which made him narrow his eyes at me.
"l trust you my princess and l hope you didn't lie to me" dad said and l nodded.
Before l could leave for the kitchen his voice boomed " boys are a no go Bella and that is not up for discussion" dad said and l mumbled a soft okay.
A week after dad sort of told me of l made sure to avoid him and my brothers. You could cut the tension in the whole house and it just what l wanted. l wanted them to burn with regret and seeing how miserable they looked ,it worked like a charm.
On the other hand school was the best. Having friends and just seeing new people everyday was fun and refreshing though Alexandra hadn't attended since the day l started and l wasn't honestly sure if it's because of that psycho family or she was trying to stay away from me.
l wouldn't put it past that crazy family to have done anything to her but as much as it bothered me l still couldn't bring myself to talk to brothers about it and am sure they've been keeping tabs on her like they do me.So if there was anything concerning they would have probably sorted it out.
Throughout this whole week l became stalker obsessed with Killian though. l researched and asked every single detail about him and it made my little group of friends laugh like l was crazy but l didn't let them bother me.
The worst part is that l met Fallon his sister and l befriended her but every time am with her my friends don't hang with us because apparently if she loses a strand of her hair then Killian makes sure to leave you bold. l genuinely like Fallon though Mallory says that l am trying to score a few points with her brother. 'Which l am absolutely not trying to do'
Fallon was lonely and l could tell because l felt the same way before l came here. An overprotective family really sucks the life out of you and it's worse when you have a rich and resourceful family because they know what you are doing and with whom.
l could relate to her and that's probably what brought us together.Me having a crush on her brother definitely came in handy too.The good thing though is that she promised to keep it a secret because she also has a crush on my brother.
"What has you so deeply vested in your thoughts " she asked clicking her fingers in front of me and l just shrugged.
"l miss my family" l sighed staring at my lunch which l wasn't even interested in having.
"Then why don't you talk to them" she asked even though l told her all the reasons why.
"Honestly from one overprotected princess to another l don't know why you're even angry or sulking because they will never change and if you want to see my brother again then you probably should talk to them since your family will be coming to the party. If you don't then they'll just assume you won't even want to come" she said taking a bite of her vegetable salad and l fringed.
"How do you survive the whole day on that green stuff" l tried having it for lunch yesterday and l spent the whole day in hunger but she has it everyday, poor soul.
"And yes l don't need their help in coming to the party,since you're my friend then you'll have to invite me" l said pouting and puffing my eyes a bit Zander l could see her starting to melt.
"Fine" she murmured and l laughed.
