My Princessa - Chapter 74: Chapter 74

I was really tempted to ask about Killian, but considering the fact that I was already on thin ice, l decided to keep my mouth shut before l gave my dad another reason to be mad at me.
" We're still going to talk about how you found yourself in a friendship with a gender I warned you to stay away from." He pointed out, making me more nervous.
" Try to get some rest before Killian gets here because we don't know what's waiting for you on the way." Elonzo said, kissing my forehead as they all left me alone.
I really tried to sleep but I got a nightmare. it was chase I saw in my dreams and he couldn't stop telling me that he loved me and that I was his.
I woke up panting and terrified, but l woke up and in somebody's warm arms, and he was soothing me.
"Calm down. Everything is okay. You're safe." Just being in his arms felt magical, and the feelings that I had for him came crashing back like they never left.
"Killian." l asked, pulling away to look at him and boy the man had grown.
"Hey angel." He smiled at me, taking my breath away yet again.
He was definitely not the boy l left behind. He was a whole man. He even kept a bit of a beard, but it made hill sexy as hell. His body was muscular, and gosh, he smelled great.
" I never thought I'd see you again." I said softly, running my hands on his face. in my mind, I had made peace with the fact that killing and I had a childhood fling and that it was never going to be anything more, but seeing him reminded me just how I felt about him.
" Oh, we're still going to talk about the fact that you just decided to leave without even telling me." He said, and damn his voice just made me swoon.
I pushed him away like he burned me when I heard the door opening. He narrowed his eyes at me while Elonzo did to the both of us and sighed.
" I don't know what the both of you are doing, and I don't even want to know but cut it out because dad won't be happy at all." He said.
" Good thing, don't give a damn about your dad." I know that Killian is his own man, but he was really taking it too far by saying such things about my father.
" I know, and I'm sorry, brother." Killian raised his brows at me.
" Tell your father that I'm ready to go. If we don't act now, then we might be giving them a chance to attack us first." Killian said, and my brother seemed to agree but not without issuing a threat first.
" I'm trusting my sister with you, Killian, but I don't trust you one bit. Stay away from her, and you and I won't have any problems." To be honest, I wish I could hide somewhere and not have to face my brother, and it's even more embarrassing that they are talking about me like I'm not even here.
" Is that an order because we both know that I don't do well with orders." Killian ran his smart mouth.
" I'll make sure to keep away from him." Killian will never take an instruction from my brother, and I don't want to create problems between them.
" Get dressed and meet us outside in 20 minutes." I guess trying to appease my brother didn't go well with him because he literally snapped at me and left.
" he's lucky we need his help because I would have kicked his ass already." I don't even know why they don't get along because Killian and Elonzo are similar.
I took a shower, and I made sure to stay away from the mirrors. All I saw in the mirrors was me bloody with Chase's blood.
I found one of my casual dresses and some boots on the bed which I put on.
The living room was full of scary looking men, but I had nothing to be afraid of because my dad, my brother, and Killian were there.
" You forgot to put your coat on." My nonna said, running back to the room l was occupying.
My dad stood up from his chair and came to my side. he held both my hands.
" l know you're scared, but it's about to get even more scarier." He said, kissing my cheek while my heart beat faster than usual.
" Listen to everything Killian says. He's the only one who can keep you safe at this point." Dad looked at Killian with communicating eyes, and he nodded.
"l love you, my princess." he embraced me, and l smiled, closing my eyes to savour the feeling.
"And l love you, Daddy." l said, and Elonzo broke us apart.
" The both of you have all the time in the world to do this." He joked, but to be honest, I'm not sure what will happen from here on wards because they are all afraid of what might be waiting for me out of there.
" Give me some love, brother." l said, hugging him tight while everyone laughed.
Elonzo looks tough and unapproachable from the outside, and he doesn't usually laugh or joke, but l must say I bring a different side to him.
" Damn, I can't believe I am taking your troublesome self back home." He joked.
" Oh, please just admit you missed my troublesome self." l swatted his arm.
" Everything is going to be all right." He said, pulling away, and l gave him a fake smile.
" Here, put your coat on." My nonna said, fussing over me.
" Aren't you coming with me." l've had her throughout this whole journey, and I don't know how I'll be able to carry on without her.
" we're just taking two different flights, so you don't have to worry." She said, and l nodded.
"Let's go." Killian said, holding my hand.
