My mind was over the place, One Killian was mad at me and he has every right to be ,two I'm about to meet my brothers whom I haven't seen in years three Dad is probably going to murder me when he finds out that Killian and I have some sort of relationship, four I have people coming for me because I killed somebody five l killed somebody.
" we're here." Killian said but didn't even look at me, but I looked at the house. it definitely went through some major renovations, but it's still looked and felt like home.
I climbed off the car, expecting him to climb out as well, but he stayed inside.
" Aren't you coming in." I asked.
" No, you're safe in here, and I have a plane waiting for me to Russia." He said, nodding at the bodyguards who swarmed all over me.
" You're leaving me." l asked in shock and disappointment.
" I have business to take care of, and I'm also giving you time to figure out what you really want." He said, and l reluctantly nodded. I could see it in his eyes that he made up his mind, and there's no changing it.
I wish I could give him a hug, but he closed the car on my face, and his driver drove away.
" I was expecting some kind of welcome party or something." Enter my brothers would compare something big for my arrival, but it just seems so quiet.
" we didn't know about your arrival, mam." One of the bodyguards said as we approached the house.
" Haven't my dad and Elonzo arrived." l asked, but he shook his head.
" One of our men went to pick them up in the airport." He said, and l opened the door.
I took it deep sniff of the whole place. it was like smelling my childhood. I wanted to immense myself in the memories that I spent in this mansion.
"Rosa." There is no way I can forget that face despite everything we went through together.
"Alexa." l smiled at her. She was a beautiful young lady.
She had definitely taken a lot of her parents' features, and she looked like a mini Val. She actually looked good
" Oh my god, I can't believe it." she said, coming closer, and when she reached, she gave me a hug.
" it's been years." l said as she led me to the living room.
" What are you doing here." I really didn't want to see rude, but her question was self-explanatory. I want it to shout it to her that I'm home, girl.
" I came home, you know, just like every normal person." I'm sure she didn't mean to be rude, but the years I've taught me to stand up for what is rightfully mine.
" Oh my god, my brothers would be happy to see you." Did anyone else hear that, or was I the only one who had her say that her brothers would be happy to see me.
" Yep, I'm sure they will." I said awkwardly.
" Alexa, I found the file, but -" I must be hallucinating again. I know this sounds crazy but the fact that he's been hallucinating about seeing me just shows how much he missed me.
" depends on what you think you're hallucinating about this time." I stood up and approached him.
It doesn't matter which De Luca you see in our family because everybody looks almost identical, and Leon has grown more into our brother Elonzo.
"Bella. is it really you." he said, dropping the file that he was carrying and meeting me halfway. he carried me and started spinning me around, and I laughed hysterically.
"But it's not possible." He said, putting me and looking at me from head to toes.
" I'm back, brother." and I brought a can of problems with me just like always, but I didn't say that out loud.
"Alex." He shouted.
" I thought you left already. You know that meeting is in 5 minutes." l heard Alex say while he was moving.
" You have to come and see this for yourself." Leone said, kissing my forehead.
" damn you almost look like a lady." He said.
" In case you forgot, I'm not a girl anymore. l'm now a young lady." l corrected him.
"Hmm." l brushed me off continuously looking at me.
it happened so quickly that I didn't even see it coming, but before I could even blink, I was being crushed to death by Alex.
" I knew there was something going on when Elonzo and Dad said they were together. " He said while squeezing the life out of me.
" At least allow me to breathe." I said, and he reluctantly let go of me.
Alex was taking more of our mother's features, but the blue eyes still shined through. Ge wasn't the boy I left behind, though. He was now a man.
" Why didn't you tell us you were coming." He said, linking my arms with his, but Leone pushed him away.
"You're hogging her." He said, bringing me closer to him, and they started bantering until Alexa stopped them.
" we have a meeting to get to." She said, but they looked at her like she was crazy.
" You actually think that I'll attend a meeting while my sister just got home." I didn't miss the flash of hurt that l saw in her eyes even though it disappeared just as quickly.
" I'm sorry. I should have known that everything revolves around her.
