if I get married to Killian, he'll be expected to run my life." it's something that I've slowly been not to send when it comes to the mafia, and I don't like it. I want to be able to make choices and leave my life the way you want to not having dictate where I go or where I work.
" I know it doesn't sound pretty, but killing is the only person I trust to protect you right now, and it makes sense that the two of you actually like it each other." Dad said, and I sighed. I know that if I had said no to this marriage, then he would have let me, but I love killing, and I don't want to bring any more problems to my family than I have.
" But if it's not something you want either, then we can stop it." and I roast my eyes because that's exactly what I expected them to say.
" I didn't picture getting married anytime soon, but it's with somebody that I love, so I don't mind." l said.
" and all of you think you can discuss my granddaughter's wedding without me." I turned my heart in seconds when I had his voice, and I just ran over to him, and just as I expected, he carried me and twirled me around.
"Who are you, and what have you done to my little granddaughter?" he said, pulling away a bad, and he looked at me from head to tore just to examine me.
" You must be blind because this is your granddaughter." I joked right back because I missed him more than anything in the world.
My family never fails to show me love, and it makes me feel like the most special girl in the world.
''Please give us a chance as well.'' my uncles said.
They hugged and pampered me with love and affection. l dont think there's anything in the world that even comes close to this.
I missed being the little princess that everybody fusses over. I missed being loved without anything in return.
" I can't believe this is you." Luciano said, twirling me around. one thing about my family is that they will make you feel like you're the most beautiful person in the world, and my cousins know how to hype me up.
" You guys have grown old." Everybody is really different, but one thing still stands out on all of us, and that's our blue eyes.
I think our blue eyes are part of our legacy or something because they always shine bright, and they set us apart from everybody else.
" I don't know if I heard wrong, but I could have sworn you say it old." Xavier said, and I think there's something very different about him.
The Xavier that I knew carried the cross of the Crime that he did not commit and even if he was found innocent he still couldn't be happy whole heartedly but this one has a carefree nature about him and I love it. I love that he isn't carrying with the world around his shoulders.
" I missed you guys." l said.
" Not as much as I missed you."Aunt Ora said. my aunts have definitely gone above and beyond to make sure that I never feel the absence of a mother, and I appreciate them for that.
I think my mother missed out on being part of a very beautiful family and speaking about her, I have a request of my dad that I'm not sure he'll agree to.
" Boys must be flocking around you because damn baby, you're hot." Trust my aunt Arabella to mess with everybody because she knows that these guys are overprotective, and they never want to hear about boys being on my side.
" apparently they are, which is why she decided to get married at such a young age." my nonno said. I don't even know what that has told them.
" I can see all of you complimenting her, but I think the person who deserves most of the credit is me." My nonna joked, and to be honest, she's right.
she has been my day one, and she has protected me when I couldn't protect myself. She has stuck with me through thick and then and the last few years, and I don't think there's anything that I can do or say that will ever show my gratitude.
" Words are not even enough to thank you for what you've done for my little girl, mom. I'm glad that you've raised her exactly how you raised us." my dad said, looking at both me and nonna.
" I'm really sorry that I took away your wife, but I'm giving her back to you now." I know my granny didn't leave because of me alone, but I want them to fix their marriage now because they've missed each other, and they love each other.
" I'm never letting her out of my sight." nonno said, kissing her forehead. my dad and my uncle's are dramatic because they all looked away.
" Please tell us all about you being a lawyer." I really don't know what my family expected me to be because they seem really surprised that I chose to be a lawyer.
" Lawyers are very important people, Ernesto, and I just decided that you are bound to find yourself in jail anytime soon, so why not be the one who rescues you." I said because our careers don't even clash that much because nobody said that lawyers only represent the good guys.
" he is up to no good lately, so it's a good thing that he has you to bail him out." my uncle said, clearing at him, and I don't even know what he did, but he seems to be in trouble with his dad.
