Getting married to Killian means that I have to face his sister and it's really hard because I don't know how she feels about me anymore especially because I just left.
I spent a lot of time with my family yesterday after talking to Killian and they also didn't have any complaints about my coming wedding.
I think they are starting to understand that they can't keep me here forever.
today was obviously a day to be productive because I'm getting married in a week so the first thing that I wanted to do was talk to my best friend which is why I was going to killian's mansion today even though he is in Russia.
" why did Fallon drop out of school." I asked Alexa when we were having breakfast because Killian wasn't any help and for some reason my brother wont to even broach that topic.
Alex was the first to react and I saw his whole face just turn into sorrow.
" I really think that's something that you have to talk to her about because I also want to know what she dropped out." he said.
" yes it was pretty surprising and we all assumed that it was because she missed you and she didn't want to study there anymore." Alexa said but I don't know why I feel like there's more to all of this.
" can you pass by the office on your way back." Elonzo said and l nodded.
today is a busy day at the De Luca family because we're all preparing to go to work and do something productive with our lives and it's exciting.
" I will but I'm not sure when because I really want to spend some time with Fallon just to make it up to her." that's if she'll let me but that's what I want.
" if you want a job then you will have to come to the office a bit earlier." he pointed out.
" excuse me sir but you are talking to the owner of that company and I will come when I decide to and there's nothing anybody can do about it." I was obviously teasing him and everybody laughed except Alexa.
" unfortunately miss owner, you are talking to the CEO so what l say goes." dang it because I really missed my family and the fun that we have together.
everybody was going to their jobs and I was getting a lift from my brother Alex and I know the poor f*** missed me.
We couldn't stop talking and gossiping on our way but I was afraid of just talking about something that I really wanted to know and that's Fallon so l kept my mouth shut.
" I could order you to pick me up but I know you're going to work so have an awesome day brother and I'll see you later." I said to him and we smiled at each other and waved each other goodbye.
my Palms were sweating and my body wears shaking a bit because I don't know what's waiting for me inside but I have to do this.
the maid opened for me and she led me in. the place is just gorgeous and I can't believe I'll be here in a week with my husband.
" unfortunately she doesn't want to see anybody." this girl obviously doesn't know me that's why she thinks I'm anybody because I'm not.
The guards let me in because they know me and she clearly doesn't.
" she doesn't have a choice but to see me and thank you for your help but I'll take it from here." I said standing up and before I could walk to her room l was stopped.
" I know you must be a really important person because the guards let you in but my boss won't be impressed if you go meet his sister without permission.." she said and as annoyed as I was I didn't blame her because she doesn't know me.
" call your boss and tell him that his fiance is here and she wants to meet his sister." I said leaving her there standing in shock and I went to the direction that I saw her going to when I asked her to call Fallon.
I didn't even knock and I just opened the door coming face-to-face with my best friend.
we've both grown but we haven't changed that much and l wiped a few tears that escaped from my face.
" I think I'm dreaming." her voice still sounds the same.
" I could pinch you just to make sure." I said because despite the time that has gone by I still see her as my best friend because she was my first friend ever.
l went towards her to her small desk and she stood up and attacked me with a hug.
"Ouch." l pinched her so that she doesn't doubt me.
" I missed you so much." there are some connections that you just make in a few minutes or seconds and they just last forever and this is one of them.
" I missed you to." I wished a lot of times that I could have somebody to talk to and somebody to just have fun with but she wasn't there with me but I have her back now and I will never let her go.
" promise me that you're not going away this time." she pulled back and looked at me looking for reassurance.
"Girl l'm marrying your brother so I'm not going anywhere." I said to her and she looked at me shocked. I don't know why killian didn't tell his sister but I'm also glad that I got to tell her myself.
"What." it doesn't come as a surprise to her that Killian and I were once involved with each other so we sat down and talked all about it.
