"Baby?"
"Yeah?"
"Come here." Natasha demanded from the bedroom whilst you were getting ready in the bathroom.
Tonight was the night. Your first party in forever; or at least what felt like forever. You were getting ready, brushing your teeth, touching up your makeup and selecting a handful of rings to put on. The party had already started about half an hour ago and you and Natasha were getting ready to arrive fashionably late like always, or at least, you WERE getting ready until she summoned you. You strolled out of the bathroom, smoothing out your dress as you made you way towards your girlfriend stood in the middle of the room.
"Yes love?"
She had her arms stretched out, signalling you to walk into her embrace, which you did. She pulled you by the hips, pressing you up against her as her hands snaked from your hips to wrap around your waist and lock you in place.
"Listen, I know we've had this conversation a thousand times already but I'm serious. No trouble tonight, okay?"
"Yes, I know Nat." You rolled your eyes. She jerked you closer, tightening her grip.
"Y/N I'm serious. I need you on your best behaviour or Stark isn't going to let you come to another party... EVER. Just do what I told you okay? Keep your drinks to an ABSOLUTE minimal and don't leave my sights, got it? Can you do that... please? For me?"
"I promise I'll be good. I'm a changed woman." You smirk.
"I beg to differ..." She smirked back, leaning in and planting and delicate kiss on your lips. You kissed back, making sure to be just as soft. The kisses started getting more passionate and more firm. She licked your bottom lip gently, to which you allowed her to enter. The kiss slowly turned heated and you were stood in the middle of your room making out with one another. Your hands were combing through her hair and hers were wrapped firmly around your waist, pulling you impossibly close as you two went at it. The kisses soon turned sweet again, exchanging soft pecks on each other's lips, smiling into each and every one of them. Natasha nudged your nose gently with hers and smiled at you. "Just be good." She sighed.
"I'll try."
You gave each other one last peck before pulling apart completely and heading out of your room towards the party.
The two of you arrived downstairs, hand-in-hand as you made your way towards the main area, following the faint sound of music which thumped in the distance. Once you entered, the two of you scanned the room, looking for a group to join. Natasha eyed Steve, Bucky and Sam over by the bar whilst you eyed Carol and Valkyrie on the other side of the room.
You let go of Natasha's grip and began heading in their direction. "I'm gonna go sit with Carol and Valk over there." you said pointing. Before you had chance to move very far, Natasha had grabbed a hold of your wrist and tugged at it so that you would look at her. "Y/N... I mean it, okay? Be-have." She scolded with a serious glare. "I know, I know, I'm going." You iterated, raising your hands in defeat. You both headed your separate ways for the night.
"Hey girlies!" You squealed when you approached the two girls, holding out your arms so that you could hug them both. They both ran into your embrace, practically tackling you as the three of you excitedly jumped up and down, giggling frantically.
"Oh it's good to be back huh?" Carol quipped confidently, deeply inhaling the vibrant party air. "Tell me about it." You laughed. "I'm on close watch tonight so I'm kicking back this time around." You said, planting yourself down on the sofa that the two were previously situated on. "What's that supposed to mean?" Valkyrie asked as her and Carol took a seat either side of you. "Apparently Stark said if we have another incident tonight, we're never allowed at one of his parties again." The two of them gave you a shocked look, jaws dropping as they shared a glance with one another, then looking back at you.
"Wait, seriously?" Carol said stunned.
"Yep. So I'm staying out of it tonight guys."
"Oh in that case... me too." Valkyrie returned.
"Me three." Carol added.
The three of you stayed sat on the couch, catching up and sipping Diet Cokes while the party existed around you. You were having a light debate around who could hold their breath underwater for the longest until you were interrupted by a familiar voice.
"Hey guys." Peter waved as he approached the three of you, sitting himself down on the coffee table in front of you all. You all greeted him excitedly, joking around about the dullness of the party.
"I'm not gonna lie, I wasn't expecting you guys to be so sober. What's up with that?" He chuckled.
"We're taking tonight off." You began.
"Yeah, we're sitting this one out. Sticking to the Cokes." Carol added.
"What?! This party is so boring without you guy's antics." He said, completely stunned.
"Sorry P. We're staying sober this time. Speaking of which, can you go get Carol and I another coke?"
"Sure."
Peter got up and walked away in complete shock. The only reason he loved attending these parties so much was because of the absolute chaos you would cause. On his way over to the bar he couldn't help but notice how boring the party was. Sure there was good music, people dancing, socialising, enjoying themselves. Tony's parties were never ACTUALLY boring, but in the eyes of Peter, compared to what he was used to with you and Carol, this was nothing. Where was the fire, the fights, the bleeding?
"Hey Vision." He said, arriving at the bar.
"Hello Mr Parker, how can I help?"
"Can I get two Diet Cokes please, thanks."
"Certainly. Coming right up."
As he waited for the drinks to be made, he turned around, looking at you, Carol and Valkyrie just chatting away, being so... normal. He didn't come all the way out here, avoiding homework, to sit and talk. No way. He had an idea.
"Vision?"
"Yes Mr Parker?" He said, filling the second glass.
"Could you make those Vodka and Diet Cokes instead... double shot?" He asked nervously.
"Peter, it is not within my best interest to serve you any alcohol, what with you being so young and most certainly not old enough to drink."
"Oh no, they're not for me, they're for..." He scanned the room quickly and frantically, looking for someone to pin the drinks on. "... Nat and Steve," he gulped. "...they're for Nat and Steve. I'm on waiter duty, haha." He laughed nervously.
"We'll alright. Don't go stealing any sips now Mr Parker." He attempted to joke in his most human-like tone while he added a double shot of Vodka to each glass. He slid them over to Peter once they were done, to which Peter then thanked him and walked away with them. He sped over to where the three of you were sat and handed you the two cokes.
"Thanks Peter." You and Carol said in unison as you grabbed the drinks. You both took a sip and Peter smiled to himself when neither of you realised their was alcohol in them.
The night went on and Peter constantly offered to get you two a new drink every time you would finish your current one. Neither of you clocked onto Peter's plot and let him keep getting you your 'Cokes'. Each time he would get a double shot in the drink and carry it back to you.
Much later in the night, it wasn't until one random moment that the feeling hit you like a truck. One minute you were fine, the next you were wasted out of your mind, and judging by Carol's demeanour, she was in the exact same state. "Woahh, them cokes was funky." You slurred whilst giggling, slumping over Carols shoulder. "Yeah I feel funny." Carol agreed and you both fell into a random fit of laughter. Peter knew it was only a matter of time until things got crazy.
"Hey..." You piped up as you laid slouched on the couch with Carol. "...What if, we dressed up as other avengers." You laughed. "That would be so dumb... let's do it." Carol jumped up, almost stumbling as she yanked you up with her. The two of you tripped and trudged out of the main party area and down to the room where everyone's suits were kept.
You gasped. "Oh my god, who should I be?" You asked looking at the selection in front of you.
"I'm c-" Carol was interrupted by a hiccup. "I'm cap, I called it, screw you." She slurred, already undressing and getting into his suit.
"I wanna- I wanna be Nat, Im gonna be Nat. Fuck you I'm being the hot one." You barely even knew what you were saying anymore, but you quickly slipped out of your dress and started to climb into Natasha's suit.
-meanwhile-
"I still think I could take you." Sam said.
"Have you seen my arm, there's no way you'd win. You'd just cower away in the sky." Bucky clapped back.
"Sounds like a win to me." Sam mumbled.
"I've had enough of you two already, I'm going to get another drink. You guys want anything?" Natasha asked the boys. They all refused her offer so she headed over to the bar.
"Ahh, Natasha." Vision greeted.
"Hey Vision, can I get another Rasberry Mojito, thanks."
"Are you sure Miss Romanoff? You'll end up like Y/N pretty soon if you're not careful." He joked. It confused Natasha to say the least.
"What?"
"Well you and Steve have been on the Vodka and Coke's all night. 7 each, if I counted correctly."
"What? No. This is only my second drink what're you talking about. Wait, I don't even drink Vodka and Coke." She claimed, confused as to what Vision was talking about.
"Ahhh, Romanoff. You can't trick me, you've been sending Peter to get them for you all night. I hope you didn't let him have any by the way."
A switch flipped in Natasha's head. Peter. Surely not. Her eyes shot over to where you, Carol and Valkyrie were supposed to be sitting, but she saw that you and Carol were missing.
"I'll be right back."
She stormed over to where Peter was sat talking to Valkyrie.
"PETER?"
He gulped and looked up at her as she stood looking at him with her arms folded.
"Yes, M-Miss Romanoff."
"Where is Y/N and Carol?"
He shrugged innocently, avoiding eye contact.
"Peter... Have you been getting their drinks for them?"
Peter stuttered heavily, trying to find an excuse when a loud commotion caught her attention. Well... it caught EVERYONE'S attention.
"SUP FUCKERS." Carol yelled, running in dressed in Cap's suit with his shield. She hopped on top of the bar and caught sight of Steve. "AHA. Imposter!" She yelled pointing at him. She threw his shield at him, but weakly so it hit a random party-goer instead, knocking them clean out. "Oops. Where's my ride?" She yelled into a fake ear-piece.
Then out of nowhere... "Beep Beep!" You shouted, pedalling in on a bicycle dressed as Black Widow. You rode through the crowds, wiping out several people who stood in the way and made your way over to Carol. As you took a detour through the kitchen, you rounded the corner and we're met with the fridge door which was open. You rode straight into it and it knocked you off the bike completely. With a small struggle, you stumbled back up, getting back on the bike and continuing your journey towards Carol. As you passed the bar, she leaped on your back and you rode away, back out of the party.
Natasha turned on her heels, following you two out of the party. By the time she made it to the hallway, you were long-gone but she called out to F.R.I.D.A.Y.
"F.R.I.D.A.Y! Track those idiots for me." She said furiously as she stormed down the hall. Thor ended up following close behind for back up.
"They are headed towards the pool room Agent Romanoff." Her and Thor hopped in the elevator, planning to get there before you did. When she arrived, you had just beat her and she saw you drive the bike right into the pool with both of you on it. She stormed in and waited for you to surface.
"Y/N M/N L/N." She yelled.
"Uh oh." You mumbled as you made eye contact with your scary looking girlfriend.
"If I were you, I'd get out of the pool RIGHT now." She threatened.
The two of you quickly hopped out and crept over to her, taking it slow, not knowing what she would do.
"Thor... deal with her." She said coldly, referring to Carol. He scooped her wet body up, carrying her out of the room, leaving you and Natasha in a stand off.
"Heyyy Nat." You said shyly.
She stomped over, without a word and flung you over her shoulder and carried you all the way to your room.
When you arrived, she placed your soaked body down on the ground and stared at you.
"Y/N... What did I tell you about tonight? What was my one rule?"
"To look pretty." You smiled, posing for her. She managed to suppress the smile that nearly peaked through from that comment.
"You know Tony is never gonna let you come to another party again? I asked you to do one thing. I asked you to behave. Keep your drinks to a MINIMAL."
"I know but I don't understand because we were drinking Diet Cokes. How did this happen?" You asked genuinely.
"Yeah with Vodka in it."
"No they were just co- Oh my god Peter."
"Yeah... Peter. Real smart getting him to get your drinks for you."
"No Nat we told him to get us Cokes, JUST cokes, I swear." You plead. Natasha saw the innocent glimmer in your eyes and at that point she knew that you were telling the truth. You had no intention of disobeying her and that put her mind at ease.
She sighed, relaxing her tense muscles and cold facial features. "C'mere." She waved you over into her arms, which you ran into. "You're not mad?"
"I'll get Stark to deal with Peter. Tell him what really happened and maybe he'll spare you. In the meantime, who let you look so cute in my suit?" She praised as she hugged you tightly. "Well I don't feel cute, this thing is tight as hell. And it's even worse when it's wet." You complained.
Nat helped you change, drying your off and getting you into some comfortable clothes. "I think you've had quite the night. Just get some rest." She said, carrying you over to your bed and placing you down on it. She tucked you in and kissed your cheek before going to head back out.
"Wait!" you called out. She turned back to look at you.
"Aren't you staying?" you whined.
"No I'm going back out there. I didn't misbehave, you did." She laughed. You hopped up out of bed and ran to her.
"Well then I'm not going to bed." You said stubbornly. She looked at you, looked at the door, and then looked back it you. "Fine." She sighed, slipping out of her heels and walking you back over to the bed. She laid down and you flopped down on top of her. She wrapped her arms around you and pulled you further up so your heads were level.
"No more drink." She said seriously.
"No more drink." You confirmed.
She proceeded to cover your face with small, soft kisses, tickling you.
"Night crazypants." She cooed.
"Night." You yawned, before falling asleep completely.
