"I don't care what happens to the Hayes family. As for Jordan, I'm not worried about him at all. He'll know how to handle it," Stella replied.
"You trust him that much?" Kevin hesitated for a while before getting these words out.
"Kevin, you know what Jordan is capable of. If your family tries to go up against him, it won't end well for them. You know what I mean, right?" Stella said.
Kevin fell silent.
"Well, I'm going to call Jordan now," Stella said. She didn't say anything else and just hung up.
Kevin couldn't help feeling bitter, but he had to admit that Stella wasn't wrong about any of it.
The Carver family was going all out against Jordan, publicly claiming that Jordan was a truly dangerous man behind his cold exterior.

"I told him to go to you," Stella said.
Jordan smiled and said, "I'm honestly jealous of him. He has known you for so long, and you treat him so well."

Stella trusted Jordan completely.
After Stella learned that he had saved her, she went online and looked up everything she could about Jordan.

She could tell that the Carver family had really met their match this time.
"Andrew came to me," Jordan said.
Stella frowned a little. "To cooperate with you?"
"Probably," Jordan replied.
Stella was sharp. With just a few words from Jordan, she understood everything. People wouldn't feel tired when talking to her.
"Do you want me to meet him?" Jordan asked.
Stella was taken aback for a second. She asked, "Do you want to?"

They didn't say much more after that. Jordan simply told Stella to get some rest and not to stress about anything else, emphasizing that what mattered was getting well and preparing to work on the new software.
