The mood of everyone in the hall shifted from impatience to panic.
After the video played, Joey's gaze at Lillian turned icy.
Jordan was known for his unpredictable moves. Most people didn't think he would lay a hand on Lillian because his company would be doomed beyond redemption if he did.
When Jordan and Stella walked out together, Chandler Shaw, chairman of the chamber of commerce, hurried over and said, "Mr. Erwin, I heard about what happened. I told Lillian just now to apologize to you and your wife right away.
"We're all in the same circle, and we'll keep running into each other. Why not just let this go?"
Stella showed a long face and said, "Mr. Shaw, it's not that I don't respect you, but when Lillian did those things to me, why didn't you think about those words you say?"
"Well..." For a moment, Chandler didn't know what to say.
"I believe in an eye for an eye. Besides, I don't see Lillian showing any sign of wanting to admit her fault," Stella said, and turned her gaze toward Lillian.
Lillian couldn't care less because she was sure that no matter what, Stella wouldn't dare do anything to her.
Before they went in, Jordan had asked Stella what she planned to do once they were inside.
Stella asked him if she could deal with it herself, and Jordan gave her an affirmative answer and said he would get her back.
Stella replied that she could be pretty ruthless, and Jordan smirked and said he was ruthless, too.
Stella mainly worried that her actions might affect Jordan's company, but Jordan told her to go for it and he would take care of everything for her.
Therefore, there was nothing left for Stella to be afraid of.
Lillian finally realized that things were taking a turn for the worse. She asked, "Stella, what do you want to do?"
Stella glanced over at the group of trembling ladies nearby, who had hit her most times earlier.
Lillian had her family-in-law backing her up, but those ladies had no one to rely on.
"Here's the deal," Stella said to the ladies. "If you do to her exactly what you did to me, I might consider letting you off the hook."
The ladies exchanged glances, clearly tempted by the offer.
Lillian, seeing her so-called good friends hesitating, couldn't help but shout, "What are you doing? I'm warning you, if you lay a hand on me, you'll all regret it."
The ladies were stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Stella said, "I won't give you much time. I'm going to count to three. If you don't move, you'll miss your only chance. One, two—"
Before she finished counting, the ladies lunged at Lillian like crazy. They first grabbed Lillian by her hair and then started pulling at her clothes.
Even though Lillian was getting older, she had been pampered all her life and taken great care of herself. Her skin that was exposed was surprisingly smooth and delicate.
Many men watching couldn't help but envy Joey for being so lucky to have such a wife, and they finally understood why Joey treasured Lillian so much.
What caught everyone off guard was that, even at her age, Lillian was wearing black lace, especially the alluring lacy black panties, making some of the men's imaginations run wild.
Joey's face couldn't be darker. He quickly reached out to protect Lillian.
Jordan ordered, "Hold him down."
Jordan's men grabbed Joey. When Joey resisted, he was pinned to the ground. His eyes were fixed on his wife the whole time. He felt every single thing people did to Lillian was pure humiliation.
Unlike Stella, who had fought tooth and nail, Lillian screamed at the top of her lungs.
