Stella walked right up to Joey and said, "I haven't forgotten that kick you gave me earlier. Getting you divorced and making you see Lillian's true colors wasn't meant to punish you. On the contrary, I was helping you.
"But I always hope people pay back what's owed. So, tell me, how do you want me to settle the score?"
Joey let out a bitter laugh. "Whatever. You didn't kick me, but what you did hurts way more than a kick ever could. It hurts so damn much."
Joey had cherished Lillian for so many years and done so much for her, but now, she was willing to give up their marriage just because she couldn't stand the pain. Joey wondered who he was to Lillian.
Stella looked at him and said, "You are indeed kind of pitiful. Alright. I'll let you go for now."
She then turned to look at those ladies, who hurried to please her. One of them said, "Well, we did exactly as you told us. Will you let us off now?"
Stella smirked and asked, "Did I ever say that?"
They were instantly dumbfounded. "You did. You said if we did what you asked, you'd let us go."
Stella glanced at Jordan and said, "Is my memory that bad? I remember saying I'd consider it."
The ladies all slumped to the floor.
One of them snapped out of it and hurriedly grabbed Stella's hand. "Mrs. Erwin, we know we were wrong. Please let us go. I'll do whatever you ask," she pleaded.
Another woman tugged at her, signaling her to stop and think about what had just happened to Lillian.
When that woman realized it, she was about to cover her mouth.
Stella grinned and said, "Well, what should I do with you all? I suddenly feel like making you do something for me."
The ladies huddled together, totally lost about what to do next.
Stella waved her assistant over and said, "Bring me a whip."
"Yes," her assistant replied.
No one had any idea what Stella was up to.
When her assistant brought the whip over, he presented it to Stella respectfully with both hands.
Stella snatched the whip and threw it down in front of the ladies. She said, "Here's your shot. Whoever grabs this whip and gives the rest a beating that satisfies me may leave."
To everyone else, Stella was a total psycho, but Jordan found her more and more intriguing. He felt she was surprisingly his type.
"I'm not giving you much time," Stella said. "If you don't do it yourselves, I have to pick up that whip, and then none of you are getting out of here."
One of the ladies snapped out of it. She grabbed the whip and started whipping her friends.
The sheer ruthlessness of it left everyone frozen in shock. People thought, 'Jeez. How much bad blood is there between them? That is savage.'
The ones getting whipped naturally weren't having it. They yelled back, "We are so close. How could you hit us just to save yourself? You think you can walk out of here alone? Just wait. You'll pay for that."
Suddenly, things took a wild turn. A few of the ladies grabbed the whip together, tackled the woman who whipped at them to the ground, and started beating her up without holding back.
Stella stood there like some kind of terrifying overlord. She said, "If you keep going like this, none of you can leave. Whoever impresses me, that's the one I'll let go."
The ladies realized what was happening and immediately started clawing at each other and yanking hair. Chaos broke out in the room.
Everyone watching instinctively edged closer to each other. They sighed inwardly, 'Well, people will do anything to survive.'
Stella just watched the chaos unfold. Even when she noticed one of the ladies nearly clawing out another's eyes, she didn't react at all.
In this world, the strong always got to make the rules. Fairness and equality were nothing. The world was still crawling with this kind of filth.
