Jinde smiled wryly. "Well,wouldn't that be nice."

Leng Jin Yu didn't bother toanswer. He pushed Qiu Ling out of the room and dragged him to thecourtyard. His expression was grave when he looked at Qiu Ling.

"Don't bring up children infront of Jinde."
"Why? Don't tell me he'sreally still hurt that you had a child with somebody else. What aboutme?"
"What about you? How would Iknow? I only know that Jinde always wanted a child but your father —"
"You're my father."
Leng Jin Yu sighed. "Chun Yindecided to stay with his wife and took his child with him. Jindewouldn't have minded raising you but this way, he lost his loverand the child. It's really not a subject that's suitable for youto bring up."
Qiu Ling pursed his lips. "Whatare you even talking about? I was talking about the two of you havinganother one. That shouldn't be a problem."
Leng Jin Yu sighed again. Ah, justhow was he supposed to get this into his head? Well, never mind. "Letme go and explain to Jinde. After that, I'll accompany you aroundto gather the ingredients. I've lived in the human realm for a longtime. I had a look at the list Jinde wrote. I know where most of theingredients can be found."
"Oh. That's neat. Then I'llwait here. Don't take too long."

His husband that was supposed to getdressed ... was still sitting on the bed naked.
