                    Kiara’s POV
Last night, Wesley assured me that he was going to permanently defeat Molly, but he returned unsuccessful, suggesting that the don he collaborated with might have been killed by Don Gio because of Molly.
This didn't concern me much as I suspected he was having an affair with his secretary. During my last visit to his office, I noticed he had delegated a lot of responsibilities to his secretary, despite her recent employment.
When I expressed my concerns to him, he tried to make it up to me by bringing me here. However, when we were about to leave, his supposed brother and sister insisted on joining us.
Since we had left Wade with our nanny for this outing, I suggested his brother and sister go shopping and meet us for dinner later.
To my surprise, Molly intervened and prevented Bertha and Radley from joining us.
Wesley had not mentioned our wedding plans since then, which was another topic I wanted to discuss. Just as I hoped Wesley would stand up to Molly, we received news that Bertha and Radley were being harassed by her.
I had expected Wesley to confront Molly, regardless of the recent events. It appeared that Molly was considering a return to singing, and I was already contemplating ways to undermine her reputation once again.
However, Molly had transformed into a stronger and more attractive version of herself, making me resent her even more.
Molly had become everything I never wanted her to be, and I was determined to take everything from her.
Unfortunately, she had become too powerful, even embarrassing Wesley. Feeling ashamed of being associated with him, I attempted to leave, but Molly forcibly took me to another private room.
With Wesley unconscious on the floor, I felt hopeless until I realized Molly was only with another girl. If I behaved, I might be able to escape unscathed.
Before I could react, Don Gio entered, looking as elegant as ever but surprisingly dressed in a black suit.
How can a man be both fearful and attractive? I pondered this as he donned a black suit instead of his usual white attire.
The mystery of how Molly managed to captivate him still eluded me, but since Molly aspires to be a star, perhaps I should return to singing to sabotage her once more.
Molly's foolishness was evident and I didn’t think she had toughed up in that aspect as much as she did with her strength.
"Gianni, what brings you here?" Molly blushed as she inquired, while the woman beside her appeared apprehensive.
Don Giovanni Dawson's presence filled the room with his alluring cologne, making him irresistible.
"I found it dull without you, so I decided to join. Besides, I'm famished," he remarked.
"I think I should go," the woman beside Molly suggested, starting to rise, but Molly held her back.
"Where are you off to, Nora? We have plans to go to the club after this, remember?" Molly reminded her.
"But Don is here. He can accompany you," Nora nervously interjected, glancing at Don Gio, who was seated on Molly's right.
"Gianni, you're not joining us at the club, are you?" Molly inquired.
He gazed at her with a tenderness that could melt any woman's heart, his attention solely focused on Molly since he entered the room.
"It depends. Why should I leave you girls alone among wolves? Don't worry, I won't intrude," he assured.
His enchanting voice as he spoke to Molly made me regret not leaving Wesley for her. Who knows? Don Gio could have been mine.
"So, what's your plans with her?" he suddenly asked, prompting a cold look from Molly.
"Do you mind giving us a moment?" she requested. He didn't seem offended, revealing a romantic side beneath his strong exterior.
"If you're coming with me, then yes," he replied casually. Molly chuckled, and even Nora smiled.
"Then you must promise not to interfere," Molly challenged him. He smiled in response. "I promise."
Molly signaled for the waiters to bring the pre-ordered food, but her final request for a sharp knife left me uneasy.
“Molly, please, you've won, okay, just let me go," I pleaded, not wanting to bother her anymore, but she seemed to be here for revenge.
In less than two minutes, the table was filled with different kinds of appetizers, but in the middle was a giant butcher knife.
Molly tasted the appetizer and fed some to Don Gio. "Gianni, this is good. You'll love it," she said.
He smiled and bit into the goat cheese grape. "Isn't it amazing how you know what I like?" he asked teasingly. Molly's cheeks pinked even more.
"Hmmm, it's really good. Good choice, Molly," Nora said. Molly smiled wider and stared at me.
"Kiara, you aren't eating. Why?" Filled with unease, I lied. "I've already eaten and I'm full, so can I go?"
Molly picked up the knife and began slicing the appetizers like a pro chef. My heart was beating with every sound of the knife. "I will let you go on one condition."
"Anything, Molly, as long as you let me go," I vowed, eager to leave her presence. This Molly was too scary.
"Tell me about that night. The drink you gave me was drugged, wasn't it? And Mom and Dad, what exactly happened to them?"
