                    Wesley’s POV
It felt like someone was intentionally trying to undermine me. My dad had come out of a coma, but my business was in turmoil. Initially, my new assistant, Marie, seemed helpful, even suggesting new business ventures.
However, I had to transfer all company assets and documents back to my name after Molly's departure. I wanted to keep her out of the picture, but I couldn't trust Kiara.
The business deal fell through, and tensions with Kiara were high due to her desire to control everything. I wanted to transfer the documents back, but they were missing.
The CCTV had been tampered with, and only one person knew my movements, so I confronted Marie. "I can't find the company documents," I told her.
Marie looked puzzled. "You're the only one with the safe passcode."
While I was the only one with access, someone could have discovered it. "They're missing, so you must have taken them."
"I didn't," she denied. However, a hacker informed me that the IP address responsible for deleting crucial company data was traced back to me. If I didn't do it, she was the main suspect.
"I've been told that someone used my computer to delete important information from the server. Besides you, no one else has access to my PC."
I regretted giving her so much access. As we argued, I received a ticket to Molly's concert, inviting Kiara and me for all three days. Thinking Molly still cared for me, I accepted, but my attempts to reach her were unsuccessful.
Assuming she was busy with rehearsals, I threatened to lock Marie in the basement until she returned the documents, instructing a bodyguard to carry out the order.
Those documents were crucial, so I couldn't let Marie out of my sight. I was afraid to involve the police because I had stolen them from Molly.
The concert was a massive success, and I was certain Molly would have hundreds of millions of dollars left after paying her cast, crew, and taxes.
If I could win her back, I would never let her go again. Her music would bring us a steady income. However, after attending all three days, I was devastated by Don Gio's actions.
Just as I was about to make a public apology to gain sympathy from the audience to convince Molly, Don Gio beat me to it after his son put on a show.
"Will you marry me, Molly?" The diamond shown on the screen could buy my entire company, but I knew Molly wasn't swayed by money or fame. She remained the same sweet, caring girl.
Molly had already taken revenge on Bertha and Radley by making them work in a restaurant where they fell ill. She had also gotten back at me by beating me up.
Who would have thought Molly would become so tough? I couldn't let Don win, especially after hearing that Marie had escaped from the basement.
Those fools couldn't even keep an eye on a fragile girl, but my priority was winning Molly back. Everything else would fall into place.
"Please, Molly, don't marry him. I still love you," I shouted from where I sat. Despite the crowd, I raised my voice, knowing she could hear me.
Don Gio's expression darkened, but Molly's face remained unreadable, and everyone present stared at me intently.
"Who is he?" they murmured. I knew I didn't look my best, as I had neglected working out, but I still appeared presentable.
I knelt before her, right as Don stood up. The ring was still in his hand as he glared at me in annoyance.
"Molly, I know I hurt you, but I'm sorry. Let's remarry, and I promise you'll be the happiest woman in the world."
The idea of choosing a ring hadn't crossed my mind, making me feel awkward while on my knees. Look, I know that you still love me," I was saying when a harsh slap sent me to the floor.
Molly’s eyes were red, but she took the ring from Don Gio. “Gianni, I’ve been waiting for this for so long.”
She even slipped the ring onto her finger herself as the crowd cheered for her, but some of her fans were asking, “Who is that douchebag?”
Molly did not seem to want to answer, but one of her backup singers stepped out, dragging Kiara by the hair.
“This man is Molly’s ex-husband. He took advantage of everything that happened in the past to marry Molly but kept cheating on her with her sister."
"Kiara?” the crowd murmured and began taking pictures. “I wonder why she never released any new albums,” some of Molly’s fans were saying, as Molly spat,
“That’s because every song she sang before was mine. She stole them from me.”
The disgrace was becoming too much, so I decided to walk away, but there was already a tall hunky guy behind me. “Where do you think you are going? Didn’t you want Molly back?”
My fingers balled as Molly continued to speak, but this time, Kiara’s voice rang through the auditorium. It sounded like a recording being played.
“I have to confess, Molly, that drink was spiked, but it wasn't meant for you.”
"Then who was it intended for?" Molly’s voice was heard, and I hoped it wasn’t what I expected.
"It doesn't matter. It's been three or four years, right?"
"So, you admit to spiking the drink?"
"The accident was orchestrated by me and Wesley. It was the only way for you to get the company for us to take it from you. I'm sorry, Molly."
"You killed our parents?"
"Your parents. Before I caused their accident, I overheard your father talking on the phone with his lawyer when I paid him a surprise visit.”
I felt hot all over when the audio ended. The audience stared at me like they wanted to rip me apart, and as for Kiara, her head was lowered in shame.
“Well, she even suggested that I should help her embarrass Molly on stage," the backup singer added as the audience began throwing whatever they had at us.
Tears welled up in my eyes and I let them fall. "Murderers. You caused the scandal. Kiara is so shameless. I regret being her fan," some of the audience chimed in.
"Molly, we are so sorry we doubted you. Do you forgive us?" some of them said as Molly wrapped her arms around Don Gio and began to speak, just as the police arrived. No, this can’t be happening.
