                    Molly’s POV
Last night started off well but took a dark turn. Marie's actions deeply disappointed me, especially since I had believed she had changed.
My mood soured, and I was uneasy about Hank taking Nora away. Despite my efforts, he refused to let me have her.
When we returned to the hotel, I opted to spend the night in Roger's room. His bed was spacious, and I just needed a distraction from worrying about Nora.
I knew Hank wouldn't harm her, but I was concerned she might not be happy waking up with him. Despite my clear statement that Nora was not his type, I couldn't understand why he was still involved with her.
"Molly, you need to rest," Gianni said after emerging from the shower, agreeing that we should all spend the night together in the same room as a family.
Being in a hotel, I was uncomfortable with Roger sleeping separately. I'm not sure how long I slept before hearing Roger's voice. I had been pretending to be asleep for Gianni's sake, but it seemed he had been awake before me.
"Mom, dad, this feels like a family, so when are you going to have a wedding?" Roger's voice was loud enough to wake me, and I realized Gianni had been awake before me.
“Very soon, Roger. Mom needs to check on the state of her company. There are a lot of issues she needs to address before the wedding to give her peace of mind. Also, you should return to school before then since we won't be taking you on our honeymoon."
Roger was still excited. "I heard honeymoons are for adults. I'm not interested anyway, and I can stay with Uncle Hank until you return."
It seemed like the little boy had already made his own arrangements, which made me smile, but the thought of Hank made me nervous. I picked up my phone and dialed Nora's number, but it was switched off.
"Gianni, can you call Hank to check on Nora? Hank took her to his house."
"Uncle Hank took a woman home?" Roger asked, sounding surprised. "Is that strange?"
"Only Daddy and I have ever been there, nobody else."
Did that mean Hank had a genuine interest in Nora? Was he regretting his actions?
Gianni hadn't dialed the number and was just smiling, which frustrated me.
"Gianni, what's so funny?" He tossed the phone to me. "You're trending more than I thought." After scrambling for the phone, I saw what he was talking about. The caption read:
‘Molly Campbel's greatest comeback: The recently concluded three-day concert organized by Molly Campbell revealed the truth behind her framed downfall and subsequent career destruction. Despite the adversity, the concert broke box office records, marking a significant success. The perpetrators were apprehended but met a tragic fate in a fatal accident, putting an end to their misdeeds.’
As the dust settled, I regained my confidence and walked tall once more. Those who once ridiculed me now looked upon me with remorse, all thanks to Gianni and Roger. In moments of doubt, they stood by me, offering support and helping me reclaim my success.
"This calls for a celebration, and what better place than Roger's birthday party," I suggested, to which Roger hesitated. "Birthday parties are for kids," he remarked.
"And what are you?" Gianni and I retorted in unison, prompting Roger to proudly assert, "I'm not like other kids. I'll graduate from college by the age of eleven. Just wait and see."
His determination instilled confidence in me. "I believe in you. I know you can achieve it."
"By fourteen, I'll be the wealthiest person on earth," Roger boldly declared.
His ambition was awe-inspiring, and I reassured him, "I believe in you, Roger. Your intelligence and maturity surpass many adults. Your future is incredibly bright."
As he embraced me, my phone buzzed with a message from an unknown sender: "Molly, you will pay for the shame you brought upon my family and Wesley's life."
I immediately recognized the caller as someone from Wesley’s family. “What’s the matter?” Gianni took the phone from me, his expression darkening as he read the message, and he promptly called Jace.
“I’ll stay with Molly. Please look into Wesley’s family members – where they are and what they’re doing,” Gianni instructed.
“Understood, Don,” Jace replied before leaving. I felt reassured by Gianni’s presence and my own ability to defend myself if necessary, but my thoughts kept returning to Nora.
“Gianni, Nora’s phone is off. Can you try reaching Hank?”
“I already tried, but he didn’t pick up. Let’s go there,” Gianni decided.
As we prepared to leave, Roger expressed a desire to go home to be with his pets. “Mom, Dad, can you drop me off first? I miss Milo and Pip.”
“Are you sure you’ll be okay at home with just the bodyguards and maids?” I asked. Roger confidently replied, “Of course. I’m in charge when Mom and Dad aren’t around.”
The boy was already well-informed about his rights, so there wasn't much to discuss. After dropping him off, we arrived at Hank's mansion, and I must admit, it was impressive.
The exterior appeared ordinary until Gianni spoke into the camera, causing the gates to slide open automatically.
Hank's residence was like a paradise. It was no surprise that he always preferred to be in his own space.
Comparing Gianni's mansion to Hank's, it was hard to determine which was superior. The main distinction was that Gianni's mansion exuded luxury from the outside, whereas with Hank's, you had to step inside to truly appreciate its grandeur.
"Hey Gio, Molly, what brings you here?" Hank greeted us as he welcomed us inside.
However, my attention was focused elsewhere, and when I finally spotted the person I was seeking, my heart swelled with warmth as she embraced me.
"Molly, I'm so glad you're here. Can we talk?" she asked, her slight shivering causing me to wonder what had transpired.
