                    Molly’s Pov
I woke up to the delicious smell of breakfast with Roger, and it felt perfect. Gianni was in the shower, but we were so hungry that we started eating without him.
Gianni joined us later and remarked, "You two are awake." I hummed in response and continued eating as he looked at me longingly.
"Don't eat too fast. You're pregnant," he revealed, causing me to freeze instantly. The cutlery slipped from my hand. "Pregnant?"
Roger seemed excited, and I wondered if he already knew. Then, I remembered chatting with Nora and waking up in bed.
"You seem surprised," Gianni observed with amusement. I asked him, "How did I get here? I remember chatting with Nora."
He smiled at Roger, who began to recount everything. "Mom, I was swimming with Uncle Hank when I saw you faint."
The realization dawned on me, and I exclaimed, "I never thought I'd be able to get pregnant." For the first time in my twenty-six years of living, I am finally pregnant.
"Well, you are," Gianni admitted. I knew he was keeping his distance because today is our wedding day. As I embraced Gianni, something warm slid down my cheek.
"Now my life is complete," I whispered. He gently pulled away and guided me back to the chair where I had been sitting earlier. "No, we have to finalize the wedding to make it complete," he said with a smile.
Everything felt like a fairytale. Reflecting on my life, I couldn't help but regret marrying Wesley instead of waiting for Gianni. However, I understood the pain of his disappearance at that time, and I couldn't blame myself.
"I'll go find Nora," I announced, heading to her room. She wasn't there, so I returned to Gianni. "Nora isn't in her room. Where is Octavia?"
Gianni's expression darkened slightly as he explained, "A lot happened after you passed out. Octavia left with her boyfriend. Let me go find Nora, and then I can take Roger with me to Hank."
I agreed, and shortly after, Nora entered the room. "I'll see you later, Mom," Roger said, embracing me. I kissed him on the forehead. "See you later, son."
"Molly, your wedding is going to be the most magical and beautiful one I've ever seen," Nora exclaimed, filling me with excitement.
Gianni assured me that the wedding, though small, would be unforgettable. Nora's words only heightened my anticipation. "I can't wait."
Roger left with Gianni, and the designers and makeup artists came to prepare us.
“I can’t believe this is me.” A tear slipped down my cheek as I spoke. Nora smiled at me, looking beautiful in the bridesmaid dress I chose.
“Molly, you’ve been through a lot, and now it’s time to embrace happiness. Don is so good to you, and I wish you both a happy and prosperous marriage,” Nora said.
We embraced, and I wished the same for her. “I wish you the same, Nora. You are a very sweet soul,” I replied.
She smiled and surprised me with a revelation. “Molly, I decided to give Hank a chance.”
“No, you didn’t,” I exclaimed with excitement. She nodded. “Yes, I did.”
“I know you won’t regret it,” I said honestly before admiring myself in the mirror once more.
The Scoop Hemline Ball Gown had a brush train and long sleeve lace. The back was all lace, and thanks to my firm breasts, I didn’t need to wear a bra.
The mermaid-style floor-length design accentuated my slightly hidden curves, making me feel like a spoiled little princess.
The advanced beading and embroidery embellishments on the lace fabric made me wonder how Gianni would react when he saw me.
“It’s time, Molly,” Nora urged as the designers left. Tears of joy filled my eyes as Nora handed me my bouquet.
The stunning décor amazed me, and if not for the clear water ahead, I wouldn't have believed this was the island we arrived at yesterday.
Words failed me as I tried to imagine how they managed to pull everything together with little kids hanging at the top of the tent like little angels, playing the violin.
The scented flowers created a romantic atmosphere, and everything was white, making me feel as if I had slept and woken up in heaven.
Perhaps some people had arrived this morning because these kids were nowhere in sight yesterday.
“Wait here,” Nora said as she walked down the aisle, and Hank couldn't take his eyes off her. I was so happy for him, and the whole event revolved around just a few friends and work colleagues.
Anticipating a change in music, I heard Nora’s voice. “I’ll sing the bridal procession.” I thought she was going to sing one of our songs, but instead, she sang an original that perfectly described my relationship with Gianni.
I took my time walking down the aisle, paying attention to every word of the lyrics.
‘I never believed in second chances, but it found me. Through the pain and heartbreak, I never imagined you would be my voice when I couldn’t speak and my eyes when I couldn’t see. Love found us again, and this time, we won’t let go,’ she sang.
Roger, Hank, and Gianni were dressed in the same outfit, and as soon as I reached the altar, the priest began to speak. The clear water was temporarily out of view due to the nature of the tent.
“Before the bride and groom, the little groom will say his vows.”
Everyone laughed as Roger took the microphone. His charming voice captivated everyone present.
“Molly, thank you for being a mother to me. From today onwards, I promise to be an obedient, protective, and good son to you. I promise to never make you cry or regret accepting me as your son.”
A tear slid down my cheek, and Nora wiped it away as I squatted and embraced him before reciting my vows.
"Roger, you make me feel perfect despite my flaws. I promise in front of all these wonderful people to be the best mother you've ever had and to always be there for you when you need me. I love you so much," I embraced him again, and he wiped the tears from my eyes.
"Thank you, mom. Please don't cry again. I don't want your makeup ruined."
Laughter filled the air as Gianni took the microphone. "Not many women would accept a man with a past, but you embrace both of us. I promise to love, respect, and prioritize your happiness above mine. I, Giovanni Dawson, will never make you sad."
Only Hank and Nora knew that Roger wasn’t Gianni’s real son but from his vow, I knew he wanted to keep it that way. After all, they boy’s father was dead so no one would come to claim him.
I wanted to kiss him at that moment, but I had my vows to share. He looked so handsome, and all I wanted was him. The cold ring slid onto my finger as I began my vows.
"Gianni, I never imagined my first love would be my last, but you have kept your promise to always be there for me. I may have nothing more to give because you already have everything, but I promise to love and respect you unconditionally."
Tears were shed by many, and Hank wiped Gianni's tears. After placing the ring on his finger, the priest declared.
“With the authority granted to me by the state, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."
As our hunger, desires, and emotions intertwined in the kiss, we could taste each other's tears.
"I love you so much, my Donner," Gianni's words slowly sank in. As he was a don, I was now a donner. "I love you too, my don," our lips met again as cheers and camera clicks filled the air.
We took pictures with everyone, but I had special photos taken with Roger.
Shortly after, we were led into another tent for refreshments. My jaw dropped as I looked at Gianni, who held me protectively.
"Gianni, how did you manage it?"
