Molly's POV
I've never been a fan of violence, but this time, I supported Gianni's every action.
If he had not intervened, or if I had come alone, I would have not only suffered injuries but also lost my jewelry and most likely been forced to clean the entire house.
Having been on the receiving end of bullies, I found Gianni's actions extreme when he instructed Bertha to pick up the jewelry with her mouth. However, I couldn't stand Radley when he tried to act tough.
The fact that he destroyed my jewelry box entirely made me want to make him pay.
My late parents gave me this; it wasn’t just about the cost but the love attached to it. I planned to treasure it until I die, yet the brat this.
"Who are you? You can't bully us like this. This is our house."
Irritation surged through me, and I walked over to him, landing another slap on his already reddened face.
I was unable to complete the action before his parents assaulted me. Radley was screaming like a baby, and his mother seemed torn between supporting her husband or helping her son.
She ultimately chose to help her son, as her husband lay unconscious on the floor. Despite my usual soft nature, I felt no pity for the old man due to his evil actions.
I wondered if Gianni had started to negatively influence me, remembering how I endured their hostility for two years.
“Molly, you have turned evil,” Wesley’s mother exclaimed as she rushed to Radley’s side. I didn’t realize when I slapped her too.
If I didn’t, I knew Gianna would, and that would have sent her to an early grave. Mine was gentler, but the look in her eyes was furious, yet I felt no remorse.
“For two years, I let you walk all over me. Your son took everything I inherited from my parents, and yet you call me a freeloader? Just wait until I reclaim everything. I will ensure you all pay for what you’ve done to me.”
My words seemed to not affect her, judging by the fiery look in her eyes. She clearly didn't believe me. “Molly, I would never believe anything you say. Who would marry a shameless, disgraced star like you, except my son?” she taunted. Gianni made a move, but I stopped him with a shake of my head.
This was my opportunity to sever ties with them as I wait for Gianni to retrieve what rightfully belonged to me, by any means necessary.
“If Wesley had listened to me, Kiara would have been a better wife and given us more grandchildren. She has our grandchild now, but as for you, you shall remain barren for the rest of your life," she said with a cold tone.
I wasn't sure if her words were meant as a curse or just an insult, but they hurt me deeply.
My one night with Gianni back in college did not result in pregnancy, and throughout my marriage, I never got pregnant, as Wesley never had time for me.
However, reflecting on the past and my relationships, her words disturbed me.
Both Gianni and Wesley had children with different women, so there must be something wrong with me. Nevertheless, I no longer cared as I had no intention of getting married again.
The look in Gianni's eyes revealed his inner turmoil. Despite this, I felt determined to address the situation myself.
"Your son doesn't have to listen to you? He was cheating on me with Kiara throughout our marriage, and she saw him more than I ever did. But you know what hurts the most?" I asked, tears welling up in my eyes.
"I don't care how much you hurt. I want you to hurt even more," she cursed a cruel smile on her face.
"You, your idiotic husband, two sons, and daughter have lived off my wealth all these years. I turned myself into a maid for you because I wanted to please you. After losing my parents, I thought I found a new family when I met you," I hinted, my voice filled with bitterness.
I noticed a hint of remorse in her eyes, but it did little to sway me as I pressed on with my explanation.
“I prioritized your happiness over mine, making sure you were all well-fed before I even took a sip of water. Yet, all you harbored towards me was resentment. But you know what?" I asked, trying not to break down.
She shook her head but remained silent. "I am done loving you and this wretched family. I am done showing mercy, and I don't care what happens to any of you."
"What can you do?" she challenged me. I could see Gianni itching, but killing them would not satisfy me. Reclaiming all that is rightfully mine and watching them suffer, just as they made me suffer, would.
"Just because your infidelity led you into another man's bed..." I saw her choke on her words as Gianni gripped her neck from behind.
“I would like to hear you insult Molly again," he said in a pained voice, Radley threatened.
"You bullies. Just wait until my brother comes. You know you can't face him, so you dare to come here in his absence."
His words made me laugh when I recalled what Gianni did to Kiara and Wesley, but I saw Gianni let go of the old hag, and he glared at Radley.
"Do you think your so-called brother can take me down? Why not call him to come home?"
Excitement shone in Radley's eyes as he picked up his phone and dialed Wesley's number.
Their mother was out of breath, but after the call, I saw hope in her eyes.
"Wesley, Molly came here with a bodyguard. He threw Dad in the air, and I think he's dead. Mom has also been abused. Brother, Molly has turned evil. You have to divorce her."
