                    Kiara’s POV
After that encounter, I tried to find opportunities to meet Don Gio, but it seemed impossible. The last person I wanted to see, except when she was dead, was the one I encountered.
Not only was she here, but she also had a little boy around my son Wade’s age with her.
“Molly, what are you doing here? And let me guess, did you adopt a son to compete with me?” I knew for a fact that she couldn’t have a child and wanted to taunt her even more, but Wade was talking to the boy Molly brought with her.
“Hey, Roger, you finally came to the park? Where is your dad, big boy?”
The only way Wade knew the boy was if they were schoolmates, and I assumed they were since the boy, now known to me as Roger, answered rather arrogantly, with his head held high.
“My dad isn’t here, but my mom is.” He proudly and protectively held onto Molly’s hand, and I wondered who the boy’s father was.
“Mommy, this is the boy who never wants to play. He always acts like a big boy and challenges teachers,” Wade informed me.
Roger’s eyes looked familiar, but all his other features were different, making him cute and dominant.
There was a proud look in his eyes, almost convincing me that he was Molly’s son, if not for the shocked expression in her eyes. When I looked at her, she forced a smile, but I could tell it was insincere.
“When did you have a son? Stealing another woman’s child won’t make you fertile,” I taunted, knowing there was no way she could have a child of her own after being with Wesley for years.
This boy was the same age as Roger, which meant that if Molly had given birth to him, it must have been during her stardom days, which I knew was impossible.
However, her demeanor changed. “Why? Do you think you’re the only one who’s good at what you do? Listen, Kitty, you were never my competition.”
What did she mean by that? The way she mentioned Kitting was rather humiliating. Was she cheating on Wesley all this time? It was strange how she got involved with Don Gio right after the divorce.
How could I have known she was just pretending to be an angel when she was actually a whore?
It’s a good thing I took Wesley away from her. He doesn’t deserve this.
“Mom, I want to play," Wade said, loosening his hand from mine. I let him go, knowing where to find him, but the boy Roger spoke up too.
"Molly..." he started before changing his expression and saying, "Mom, can I go too? I just want to look around."
Molly seemed shocked again but responded, "Sure, but let's go together." The boy's demeanor reminded me of Don Gio, and I wondered if this was his son.
Their eyes looked the same, but what puzzled me was why Molly was so protective of the child. I was about to speak when he beat me to it.
"Don't worry. I won't go far," he said, sounding surprisingly mature for his age.
As he was about to leave, Molly held him back and lowered herself to a squatting position. "You're not used to this, so we do everything together, okay?"
She wasn't even a mother, yet she was acting like a caring one. The boy smiled at her. "Don't worry, Mom, I can take care of myself." Did she really have a son secretly and intentionally refused to have one for Wesley?
When the boy let go of her hand, she was about to follow him when I pulled her by the arm.
"Why are you being so cautious? Let the kids play," I said.
She pulled her hand from my grip and replied seriously, "My son isn't like other kids. I have to watch him if you don't care about yours."
She ran off to where Wade was playing, while Roger walked elegantly, almost as if in meditation.
What a strange and intriguing boy he was. I couldn't help but wish he was mine. "So tell me, were you cheating on Wesley?" I asked Molly when I caught up to her. She smiled meaningfully.
"Oh, yes," her response wiped the smile from my face. The fact that she admitted it so openly, especially after looking like she was going to die upon finding out I was with Wesley throughout their marriage.
I didn't know why I couldn't bring myself to crush her. Whose child was this? Did he belong to the Don? With her attention focused on the boy, I took a picture of him and sent it to Wesley with a message.
‘Molly came to the pack with this boy. Do you know him?’
I was annoyed when he didn’t reply to my message but instead asked, “Is Molly there?” He was already dialing my number, so I walked away from Molly before answering the call.
“Where is Molly?” Wesley asked seriously. I frowned before answering, “She came with a boy around Wade’s age. I think they attend the same school because they know each other.”
“Okay. Keep her busy. I’m coming there,” Wesley replied. I couldn't understand what was going on. He never made time to pick up Wade from school, and yet he was coming here because of Molly?
Even after the divorce, she still had Wesley wrapped around her fingers, but I wasn’t going to allow it.
“Why?” I asked. He replied rather hastily, “It’s complicated, but the dons I sought help from to bring Don Gio down want Molly.”
I smiled, hoping my thoughts were not deceiving me. “So, you want us to kidnap her?” I whispered when I looked in Molly’s direction, her attention focused on her so-called son. Wesley asked,
“Is she alone?” I looked around and saw someone watching her close to a car.
“No, there’s a bodyguard watching her from a distance.”
“How many?” Wesley asked from the end of the line. I replied curtly,
“Just one.”
“Alright, I’m coming.” By the time I was done with the call, Molly and the boys were nowhere to be found. I began looking desperately around and saw them riding the carousel horses and laughing like one big family.
Roger or whatever his name was, kept chatting with Molly while Wade was doing his own thing. I wondered if they just knew each other or were classmates, so I asked Wade when I reached them,
“Is he your classmate?”
“No, Roger is so smart, he already skipped two classes and is my senior but…” What he said next was enough to make me piece a few things together.
