Giovanni’s POV
Today turned out unexpectedly special, especially after the warning Hank gave me about Don Black's obsession with Molly. I was afraid of not confessing my lingering love for her, even though I knew we couldn't be together.
What I never anticipated was Molly taking the risk of being intimate with me despite my caution.
Initially, I was apprehensive, but as time passed, I relaxed. Perhaps it was because my feelings for her were genuine, not just driven by physical desire. She seemed to enjoy it as well, making the experience meaningful.
There was a moment when I doubted if I could climax, reminiscent of a past encounter with a sex worker after the accident.
However, Molly's encouragement through her moans spurred me on, and I finally found release without the same distress.
This encounter sparked a newfound joy and excitement within me, unlike anything I had felt since parting ways with Molly years ago. I regretted not sending Roger away with Hank to ensure Molly had ample rest but it wasn’t too late.
Despite her discomfort, I couldn't resist the temptation for more, fueled by the opportunity she had given me. I longed for her to feel better so we could do it again.
Once I concluded taking her business back from Wesley, I planned to appoint her as the Donna of the Dawson Group.
After assisting her to the jacuzzi, I promptly contacted my doctor to discuss the situation. To my surprise, she expressed genuine excitement for me.
"Congratulations, Don. Just curious, did you engage in intimacy with her after the accident before today?" she inquired.
"No, we were in a relationship before I left her," I clarified, sensing her happiness for me radiating through the phone call.
“Then I guess you should keep her close. No other woman can satisfy you but her," my doctor advised. I didn't doubt it.
Due to the dangers lurking around my family, I had only considered dating a girl from a similar family but never felt attracted to any of them.
Molly changed my mentality when I met her, making me understand that love could emerge from unexpected places. If I hadn't heard about her marriage, I wouldn't have even tried resolving the problem with professionals, as I never saw a chance for us to be together again.
"I know, but what should I do? She's so sore, and honestly, it took a long time." I didn't want her to be in pain every time she accommodated me like this because I wanted more of her.
"You said you hadn't had a release for almost a month, so that must have contributed. Try to be more frequent and update me on the progress. As for the woman you love, a good massage should do the trick."
Wondering why I never thought about it like that before, I also considered other ways to make her happy and feel loved. "Thanks, doc, I will keep you updated."
About to end the call, she reminded me, "If it stabilizes for a month, then you have your solution, but as I said, keep her close."
I never intended to let her go from the moment I saw her, so I responded to my doctor, "Alright. Bye."
About to check on her in the bathroom, Roger barged into the room, and with the way things had changed between Molly and me, I knew I had to start locking the door.
"Dad, is Molly coming to make lunch?" Roger asked. I shook my head. "No, I will inform the chef to do it."
He was displeased, and I could understand because Molly's food tasted special. "I want to hear Molly sing," Roger said excitedly. I couldn't help but smile. Molly loved and accepted him better than his biological mother ever did.
"If you want to call her mom, you are free to do so," I assured him. He was jumping excitedly, unlike the cold boy I raised. Molly sure brought warmth and happiness to this once lifeless mansion.
“Are you planning to marry her?" Roger's eyes sparkled as he inquired, and I nodded in agreement.
"Yes, but not right now. She will be the only woman for me," I replied.
"Not even that woman?" Roger asked with a hint of humor, and I chuckled, confirming my commitment.
"Not even her," I assured him.
He hugged me tightly and said, "I'll take care of Milo and Pip. You take care of Mommy."
Milo was his puppy and Pip his kitten. Molly's suggestion about the pets causing his nightmares made sense.
Later, I found Molly asleep in the jacuzzi with half-eaten ice cream. I cleaned her up and carried her to bed, giving her a massage as she slept restlessly.
The next day, Molly's muscles felt better, and she skipped her workout to rest. She seemed to improve after some extra sleep.
"Would you like to move to my room, Molly?" I suggested after brunch, sensing her nervousness.
"Is it necessary?" she asked hesitantly.
Concerned that she might be avoiding intimacy, I revealed a secret I had kept hidden. "You agreed to a condition, and technically, we are married."
Confused, Molly's eyes widened in shock as I explained the situation. "When I saved you at the hotel, I had you sign a marriage certificate. We couldn't finalize it because you were still married and angry with me. So, I didn’t tell you when you didn’t remember."
From the moment Noral informed me about her divorce, I knew I had to make her mine again, though I was afraid.
"Is that why you kept pushing for a divorce?" Molly asked, seeking clarification, and I nodded in response. Yes, but I'm going to give you the grandest wedding at the right time."
When I found her, I was afraid she wouldn't agree to live with me while sober, so I had her sign the agreement in her drugged state. After she recovered from the drug, she initially resisted but eventually agreed, so I didn't have to use it against her.
"I trust you, but if you ever leave me again, I will ensure you never see me or Roger," she said sternly, causing me to squint.
"Roger?"
"Yes, he's my son now, so I will take him with me," she said seriously, and I chuckled.
"Don't worry. That will never happen, and no matter what, we will stay and fight together."
"Agreed," she said, flashing a smile that made her irresistible. I leaned in and kissed her before remembering something important.
"But there's one problem."
"What is it?" Concern filled her eyes as I explained.
"We need to keep our relationship a secret for now. My mother is..." She nodded in understanding, realizing it was for the best.
If she were to kickstart her music career, her fans might attribute her success to me. It would be better to keep our relationship low-key to allow her to shine on her own.
"I understand. But tell me, did you really cut Nicole's tongue?" I was tempted to lie but couldn't bring myself to do it.
"Yes." I sealed her lips with mine to prevent further questions. As much as I desired her, I gave her time to recover, giving her the best massage of her life.
The next day, we arrived at the office to an annoying surprise.
