DATE 1:
"You didn't have to come here." Kongpob got inside the car with his flushed face as he tried to ignore the stare from the person who sat at the driving seat.
"It's our first date, I want it to be perfect." Arthit winked at the doctor who just shook his head.
"Other staffs might have seen you by pulling this stunt," Kongpob said worriedly. He knows Arthit is a person who likes to keep his privacy, the latter usually wear a mask or hat when in public but Kongpob noticed that he didn't have them on when he picked him up.
"You're worried about me? Arthit gave a playful smirk making Kongpob groan.
"So what?"
Arthit laughed, he focused on his driving as he let Kongpob say whatever he wants. He glanced at the other man occasionally, spotting Kongpob yawning sometimes or looking out of the window. The slow music playing inside the car gave a romantic feeling to the ride. Both men didn't want to break the silence between them. It was peaceful and comfortable.
"Here we go!" Arthit exclaimed as he pulled the car in front of a gaming centre which Kongpob is more than familiar with.
"Arthit..." Kongpob gasped.
"How did you know about this place?!" Kongpob asked, a smile finding its way in his lips.
Arthit scratched the back of his neck, "Well, I may have asked Aim about where to take you for a date."
"And you bought me to a game centre?" Kongpob tired to hold his laughter.
"Ah- well, I-I didn't know where I should bring you for our first date. When I asked Aim he told about this place and said it's been long since you came here because of your work. So I thought I'll bring you here, I want you to be happy and enjoy rather than sitting in a restaurant and having candlelight dinner or something." Arthit bit his lips as he averted his gaze from Kongpob.
Kongpob's eyes widened, a warmth seeped into him as he heard the other's words. He thought the rockstar would take him to some clingy restaurant, talk about eachother and have dinner, then return to their respective places.
He didn't expect this. Arthit thought a lot about him and he had never felt this wanted and special. The place they were in front of is very special to Kongpob. His friends used to come here to enjoy but he couldn't because of his busy schedule and even if he gets free time he'll focus on his research and medical works.
"Thank you so much, Arthit, for bringing me here. It's been so long since I came here. I and my friends used to hang out at this game centre to escape those university days. Even though all of us were different majors we studied under the same university. We would make time and spend our time here, laughing, joking and teasing eachother and blaming eachother if we lose the game." Kongpob chuckled at the memories.
Arthit smiled softly. The genuine happiness he's seeing on Kongpob's face was filling his heart, it made him feel that he had done the right thing.
"So what are we waiting for, let's go inside!" Arthit said excitedly and it made the doctor smile wider.
"I'll show you around! It's a wonderful place! There's a food court on the third floor too! And trust me the food is great rockstar!" Kongpob kept rambling about the place as he dragged Arthit unconsciously.
Arthit just stared at their hands that were intertwined and then at Kongpob who was practically jumping around. Arthit made sure to pull up the mask on his face, with his free hand since the other one is currently under a doctor's hold.
Arthit looked around the place as its the first time he ever came to a gaming centre. He always chose to stay at home and play his games, he even has a separate room for gaming.
The full floor was dark, only the red strip lights on the wall and the light from the PC's where the only source of light in the room. It was a busy day today and there were a lot of people inside.
"Come on! Let's play too!" Kongpob exclaimed making Arthit chuckle.
"I bought you here to enjoy Kong, so whatever you say I'm up for it." Arthit smiled.
Kongpob showed his full teeth smile, making his eyes look small at how wide he smiled. It was one of the best days of his life after a long time.
"It's busy over here, I'll take you to another section!" Kongpob said, a little louder so Arthit could hear him since the gamers were speaking loudly.
Arthit just gave a thumbs up to the other as he let the man drag him to wherever it's. He never thought he'll enjoy moments like this but here he's, spending time with his crush who's yet to accept their love for eachother.
He wondered what was stopping the latter. He's always soo accustomed to people confessing their love to him that he thought it might be easy with the latter too. He was a rockstar, and girls and boys were always behind him but this doctor here was very different.
One thing that he's thankful to Kongpob is, the doctor never saw him as a rockstar but he saw him as a normal human being. And that's what Arthit attract towards him from the beginning.
"Here we go! Come on! Let's race!"
Kongpob's hold on Arthit's palm loosened as he rushed towards the bike game making Arthit look at the latter amused.
"That's a child's game Kong," Arthit chuckled as he walked closer to the latter who already sat on the bike.
"Everyone can play everything Arthit," Kongpob narrowed his eyes at the other, feeling offended.
"And we can play whatever we want here, no one is going to judge you. Oh! Come on! It's fun!" Kongpob threw his hands in the air.
Arthit laughed at the antics of the other. "Are you always like this?"
Kongpob raised an eyebrow, "Like what?"
"This cute."
Kongpob cleared his throat, feeling the heat spread across his cheeks and up to the back of his neck.
"Shit up and play. Let's see who wins the game." Kongpob pulled Arthit's arm and pointed at the bike near him. He then pulled down Arthit's mask, he wanted to see his face. Thankfully Arthit didn't question him for his action.
"Okay, Mr Doctor." Arthit teased the latter earning an eye roll from the other.
Kongpob and Arthit soon started raising, their eyes fixed on the screen in front of them that showed the race while they turned the bikes from right to left. Occasionally stealing glances at each other's screen and boasting about their own skills.
"I won!" Kongpob threw his hands in the air while Arthit just smiled fondly at the other.
"See!? I told you I will win!" Kongpob jumped down the bike and took the tickets that came from the machine slot as a reward for winning.
"What are you looking at?" Kongpob narrowed his eyes at the other male who was still on the bike and staring at him.
"Your beautiful face."
"Arthit Rojnapath!"
Arthit's laugh soon echoed his ears. Kongpob was thankful there weren't many people around the area, they were away from the crowd. The closest people to them were three blocks away at the kids' section.
"I'm yet to give my answer, so don't take advantage of this." Kongpob pointed out playfully but he regretted saying that when he saw the beautiful smile disappear from the other's face.
"Arth-" Kongpob tried to apologize but Arthit soon masked his expression and pulled Kongpob by the hand as they walked away.
"Let's play the video game! It looks exciting!" Arthit smiled widely as he dragged Kongpob back to the block they came from.
"It's busy there Arthit, I'm not sure we would find a slot." Kongpob decided to play along. He was cursing himself for telling that, he just meant it for a joke. He knows the latter has fallen for him hard and even though he started to feel something for the other he's not sure whether he should follow his feelings.
"There's nothing wrong with checking, you know," Arthit replied without looking at him.
"See? I told you." Kongpob pouted seeing the filled up seats.
"We can find at least one somewhere." Arthit tried to look around, he had already pulled back his mask on so he didn't have to worry about people recognising him even though he doubts others will recognise him when they're busy with their games.
"Arthit..." Kongpob pouted when he couldn't find a seat. When Arthit told him they could at least find one seat a hope got inside him, he had missed playing these games so no one could blame him.
"I don't think there is any se-"
"Kongpob!"
Before Arthit could complete his words they heard a familiar voice ahead of them.
"Oak! Wad! You guys are here?" Kongpob asked surprised when his friends walked towards him.
"So you ditched us for your date?" Wad narrowed his eyes at the masked man near Kongpob making the doctor laugh.
"I didn't know you both planned to come here!" Kongpob retorted back.
Oak just rolled his eyes, "Anyway, who are you with? I don't think you got any other friends apart from us who would stick up with a dumbass like you."
Kongpob glared at his friend while Arthit laughed at the remark.
"Oak!" Kongpob shouted but Oak only laughed it off.
"So who is it? Introduce us to him." Wad nudged Kongpob's shoulder.
"You guys already know me, Wad," Arthit replied this time and it made Oak and Wad widen their eyes hearing the familiar voice.
"Holy cow!"
"Shit!"
Wad and Oak exclaimed as they looked back and forth from the two young men.
"What are you two doing here?" Oak asked disbelief evident in his voice.
"Oh, I came here to buy some groceries," Kongpob replied casually making Arthit chuckle while Wad smacked on Oak's head.
"I thought Arthit won't go to public places like this." Wad asked, genuinely surprised.
"Well, I thought some change might be good. And he really missed this place, so decided to bring him here." Arthit pointed at Kongpob who just smiled shyly.
"That's great! Come Kong! Tew and Prae are also here! Let's go! It's been soo long since we played together!" Oak excitedly wrapped his hand around Kongpob's shoulder and dragged to the next block of the gaming section.
"But-" Kongpob tried to stop but Oak kept on telling about how he missed playing with him and it somehow made Kongpob guilty so he didn't say anything.
"This idiot!" Wad facepalmed at Oak's obliviousness. He looked at Arthit who was staring at the way Kongpob was just dragged to.
"Ah- Arthit, I'm sorry for ruining your date. I'll get Kongpob as soon as possible." Wad apologised.
Arthit was brought back from his trace, he immediately shook his head at Wad. "Let it be, it's not always Kongpob gets free time and play with you guys. He didn't mention he missed all those times you guys where together so let him enjoy. I'll just tag along with you guys.
Wad smiled at the understanding nature of the rockstar, he nodded his head and guided Arthit towards the block where his friends were there.
Arthit smiled when he saw Kongpob sitting on the gaming seat and concentrating on the game in front on the PC while he gave commands to his friends next to his seats about the game. As the look of it Tew had given his seat to Kongpob to play, he saw Tew standing behind Kongpob and leaning on the chair while he also pointed at the PC and said about some moves.
"You wanna play, Arthit?" Wad asked as he took his seat next to Prae who was too focused on the game to notice Arthit.
"Nah...you carry on," Arthit replied, his eyes glued on Kongpob.
Arthit internally sighed when Kongpob didn't even look up at him. Even when the first game finished the doctor continued to begin the next game and immersed himself in it.
Arthit's supposed to be pretty date was ruined now, the rockstar groaned. Well, he has four more chances.
DATE 2:
"Are you still mad at me for last time?" Kongpob asked worriedly. Even though he messaged the latter thousands of sorry for ruining their first date, even though Arthit assured him it was okay and they still had time to go for better days Kongpob was still feeling guilty.
"Kong, I told you it's okay. We're making it up this time." Arthit winked at the doctor.
Kongpob only sighed, "Okay."
"Are you tired?" Arthit asked as he glanced at the latter. He picked up the latter directly from the hospital like last time, a week ago.
"Hmm...had three surgeries today and two flat lines." Kongpob closed his eyes.
"I-I'm sorry to hear that." Arthit gave a pat to the other's shoulder.
Kongpob chuckled, "It's okay. I'm fine, just sad that I..."
Kongpob couldn't complete his words as he sobbed. He tried his best to keep his emotions in but whenever he's with Arthit it feels as if he's free to show his emotions and that the superstar will not judge him.
"There you go, it's okay." Arthit hugged Kongpob from the side, smoothing the latter as he sobbed.
"I'm sorry, I still cannot handle seeing my patients on a flat line." Kongpob wiped his tears, pulling away from Arthit who held him.
"It's okay, that shows how dedicated you're to your work and it makes you a wonderful person Dr Kongpob Suttilak." Arthit smiled at him.
"Thank you Arthit." Kongpob wiped his tears.
"No issues, so let's go?" Arthit asked to which Kongpob chuckled and nodded his head.
"So, where are you taking me today?" Kongpob asked after a few minutes.
Arthit glanced at Kongpob shortly before he focused back on the road.
"Somewhere your friends might not be there."
And the two laughed at the statement. These rides they take is soo special to both of them. Sometimes Arthit would think how it would be if they continued to drive non stop, finding new routes and getting trapped in the middle of the road when their fuel runs out or the tire's puncture. He wants to know how it would feel to spend more time with Kongpob, getting to know him personally and see his daily life routines.
"Park?"
Arthit glanced at Kongpob and winked at him as he parked the car.
"When we messaged throughout the week I could feel that you were really tired. Even when I told you that we could cancel your date you refused even if you were tired. So I decided to bring you here." Arthit smiled at Kongpob who returned the same smile.
" This place always had been my hideout. There are not many people here as it's an old park and that's what I like about it. I don't have to wear a mask, and I don't care if anyone sees me here." Arthit let out a loud sigh making Kongpob laugh at the irritation on the rockstar's face.
"Thanks for being considerate all these while, Arthit. It really means a lot to me." Kongpob smiled softly.
Arthit stared at the doctor, finding sincere gratitude in his voice made him feel happy that he could provide something to the other. He never cared about others except for his close friends and family but after Kongpob entered his life things started to change. He tried to make the other happy and comfortable. Whenever he met Kongpob before he confessed his love he always saw the tiredness of the doctor so when Kongpob agreed to this 5 dates plan he decided to make Kongpob happy and comfortable. And now that he's seeing it on Kongpob's face he's glad that he could be a help.
"So, let's go?" Kongpob asked embarrassed at the strong gaze the other male was giving him.
Arthit blinked, coming back to his senses he smiled nervously.
"Yeah, le-lets go."
Soon the two got out of the car and Arthit guided Kongpob inside the old picnic park. It was only 5 in the evening so the sky was orange-hued and they could see the sun setting soon.
"There's a river if we walk for 10 minutes, you wanna go there?" Arthit asked as they started to walk through the park, only a couple of people were present at the park.
"Sure, I would love to see that," Kongpob replied, smiling.
Arthit chuckled. He pocketed his palms and looked around the place. His eyes gazed upon the expanded grass with threes and flowers Havering on them. Not much people know about this place, he and his friends had once taken a wrong route while they were returning from another city and they ended up finding this park. He still thinks who looks after this park and keep it clean and beautiful even though people don't usually visit this place.
"When was the last time you came here?" Kongpob asked out of the blue.
"Where did that come from, now?" Arthit raised an eyebrow.
"It's nothing, just curious." Kongpob smiled.
Continuing to walk under the huge crowd of trees on either side of them Arthit replied.
"The last time I visited here was when I was blamed for plagiarising a song."
Kongpob's eyes widened, "That was almost a year ago.".
"Do you know about it?" Arthit smirked playfully.
"I watch TV too!" Kongpob narrowed his eyes.
Arthit laughed, "Yeah, thank god I could prove that I was innocent. Sometimes I think I shouldn't have entered into this platform."
"Hey, it's okay." Kongpob placed a hand on Arthit's shoulder making the actor smile.
"I'm just glad that my fans stayed loyal to me and they believed me. That's all that I need." Arthit stared at Kongpob.
Their eyes locked with eachother, the soft smiles on both of their faces slowly fading away as they stared deep into each other's eyes. Their legs rooted on the spot.
Kongpob gulped, feeling butterflies in his stomach. He could feel his cheeks heating up at the gaze Arthit was giving him. He wanted to turn away and walk but something was stopping him. The gaze of the other was holding him in place.
"Arthit! Kongpob! Is that you?!"
Arthit and Kongpob soon woke up from the daze and Arthit was ready to kill the person who interrupted them but when his eyes fell on Pete, Aim, Tootah and Dave, he could only groan.
"You guys are here?" Kongpob asked blinking at his best friend.
"Yeah, just came for a walk," Aim smirked at Kongpob.
"We met Tootah and Dave not long ago, so we were just talking and found you guys now," Pete replied.
"This would be awesome! Let's do triple date!" Aim said excitedly, his eyes gazing at Kongpob slyly.
"People are lighting lanterns near the river, come on! Let's join too!" Tootah said.
The two couples walked ahead leaving Kongpob and Arthit behind. The two stared at eachother and Kongpob held a laugh when he saw Arthit groan.
"It's your friends this time." Kongpob pointed out.
"And your best friend too," Arthit added making Kongpob laugh.
"Come on! It won't be that bad, it's will be nice." Kongpob pushed Arthit to walk.
"With Tootah here, nothing is going to be good." Arthit facepalmed.
"Come on!" Kongpob pushed Arthit with his hands in the actor's shoulder while Arthit just smiled at the action.
When the three couple reached the river, there weren't many people there, all were arranging their lanterns and were provided with paint if they wanted to write or draw on them.
The three couples got their own set of lanterns to prepare it together. Arthit was first doubting whether he should buy one or two since he and Kongpob are still not official but he was surprised when Kongpob just came towards him and took one lantern and asking him to come fast so they could arrange it.
"This is soo much fun!" Tootah squealed as he prepared the lantern with his boyfriend Dave who just smiled fondly at him.
"Should we draw a sloth?" Pete nudged Aim's shoulder.
"Do you want me to throw this on your face?" Aim glared at his boyfriend.
"Just teasing you babe," Pete stole a kiss from the other. Pete used to tease Aim when he's slow in the morning to get ready.
"What do you want to do on it Arthit?" Kongpob asked as he took the paint and placed it in the front.
"I don't know." Arthit scratched the back of his neck.
"Then I'll handle it!" Kongpob said excitedly.
Arthit just smiled, sitting on the grass he leaned on his hands as he watched Kongpob draw on the lantern.
When Kongpob finished the drawing he excitedly tilted the lantern so that Arthit could see it clearly.
"What do you think?" Kongpob bit his lips his eyes filled with excitement.
Arthit smiled wide seeing the drawing, it brought a tingling feeling throughout him making him shiver. Feeling the goosebumps on his skin he Rebbe's his palms together.
It was a drawing of a crescent moon and a half sun joined, the designs on the moon and sun were beautiful and Kongpob even drew eyes and lips on them.
"It's soo beautiful, Kong." Arthit caressed his hand over the lantern.
He remembers one-day Arthit had called Kongpob after a programme feeling tired. Thankfully Kongpob was free, even though the other had a night shift and was at the hospital when Arthit called he made time for him standing outside at the terrace of the hospital.
They both talked about their day, after sometime Arthit asked Kongpob whether he could see the moon from where he was standing. Arthit was on his balcony so he could see the full moon that night.
You're like the moon in my life Kong, a source of light in my darkness. I know it's too soon to tell this but Kong, you're the only one I want to share my light with.
"Arthit," Kongpob called out softly making the latter look up at him.
"I-I don't know what am feeling now. But one thing I'm sure, I'll try to open up to the possibilities in front of us. I hope you can wait." Kongpob gave a tight smile.
Arthit smiled as he nodded his head. Smiling at eachother everything else seemed to quiet down.
Until they heard a shrill scream.
Arthit and Kongpob turned their head towards their friend and before they could understand what was happening Arthit was covered in paint.
"What the fuck!?" Arthit screamed standing up earning the attention from the other people present there who laughed at the scene.
Kongpob on the other hand quickly moved the lantern away so it wouldn't get destroyed.
"I'm so sorry Arthit! It was Pete who pushed me!" Tootah pointed at Pete who gulped.
"No Arthit! Tootah was trying to mess with me!" Pete defended himself.
"What!? I didn't do anything! Did I Dave?" Tootah turned towards his boyfriend who gaped at his lover.
Dave looked at Arthit who had blue paint over his head, his face half coloured and his light green shirt covered with blue colour.
"I don't know anything! You do whatever you want Arthit." Dave turned towards his lantern.
Kongpob and Aim looked at eachother, not knowing what to do or say.
"Pete! Tootah!" Arthit glared hard at his two best friends.
"Run!"
DATE 3 :
"I thought I'll be coming to pick you up." Arthit smiled as he got out of the elevator, coming face to face with the honey skinned man who was wearing a washed jeans and black t-shirt.
"My shift ended early so I took a bus here, it's always you who picks me up so I decided to make a change." Kongpob lips stretch wide showing his million-watt smile.
Arthit smiled, "So, let's go?"
Kongpob nodded his head. The two completely ignoring the receptionist who was smiling slyly at the two. She couldn't help but chuckle at the two, she's glad that Arthit was opening up more and it did bring changes to his relationship with the employees there too.
"So, where are we going this time?" Kongpob asked as they got inside Arthit's car.
"I got two tickets to the amusement park." Arthit smiled when he saw Kongpob's eyes sparkle.
"Really!? Wow! That would be awesome!" Kongpob rubbed his hands together excitedly.
Arthit laughed, "Are you that excited?"
Kongpob nodded his head, "I love amusement parks! The last time I went there was when I was a fresher if my memory is right."
Arthit just smiled as he drove them to the destination.
It's been three weeks since they met eachother. Kongpob was busy at the hospital and Arthit had his concerts too. There had been a little chaos when his fans asked about his dating life telling they spotted Arthit in public with a man. Arthit just smiled and told them that if he's in a relationship he would be disclosing with them and they shouldn't worry. For a week the topic was trending over social media and then it came down eventually. Arthit did tell Kongpob to not worry because he knows his fans better than anyone and they would accept whatever decision he makes.
"I hope our date doesn't get interrupted this time." Kongpob laughed as he stated.
Arthit just groaned, "If it happens one more time the next date that I would take you will be outside the country."
Kongpob laughed hard, clutching his stomach at Arthit's statement.
"Don't joke Arthit! Even though we get interrupted it was nice being around them. I loved our last date!"
"Kongpob!" Arthit glared at the doctor who only laughed hard.
Last time after Arthit got covered with paint he had chased Tootah and Pete around the riverside but at the end, he stopped chasing them feeling there was no use of wasting his energy over those two idiots.
With the paint still over him, which Kongpob tried to wipe with his handkerchief he and Kongpob released the sky lantern when it was time. It was a beautiful sight to be seen and the smile on Kongpob's face made it all worth it for Arthit.
"Shit!"
Arthit looked at Kongpob confused as he parked the car.
"What is it Kong?"
Arthit raised an eyebrow when Kongpob pointed towards a direction.
"What the hell!?" Arthit groaned loud facepalming.
"We should go! I'll take you to another place," Arthit hurridly started the car again and was about to take a reverse when Kongpob placed a hand on him.
"I don't think we can, they already saw us." Kongpob pointed at his group of friends who already waved at him and was walking towards the car.
"Why does it have to be like this every time!?" Arthit shouted throwing his hands in the air. If it was possible I would be crying right now.
"Maybe everything has a reason Arthit," Kongpob smiled patting Arthit's shoulder.
"Reason? My ass!" Arthit grunted.
"We're stuck now, can't back out. And you already bought tickets for us, I don't want to waste it." Kongpob dabbed Arthit's cheek with his index finger before he got out of the car.
"Fuck!" Arthit cursed. Turning off the car he wore his mask and got out of the car.
"You guys are here!" Tew asked as he hugged Kongpob.
"Yeah, I got off shift early and Arthit brought tickets too. So decided to spend some time together." Kongpob said without batting an eyelid.
"That's good, happy to see you guys improving." Aim who stood beside Tew patted Kongpob's arm knowingly.
"Hey Arthit," Oak waved at the superstar who pulled his mask down a bit and smiled at others.
"Hey! What are you doing here, Knott?" Arthit asked pointing at his friend who was standing behind Tew.
"Ah-uhh," Knott glanced at Tew who just chuckled.
"Now I get it why Pete was talking about you ditching us." Arthit smirked at his friend.
"Come on Arthit! I'll tell you everything later." Knott practically begged Arthit with his eyes.
"Don't worry Arthit, our friend here is in denial too." Wad pointed at Tew whose eyes widened.
"I see...I better get an explanation soon," Arthit pointed at Knott who just sighed and nodded his head.
"So, what are we waiting for! Let's go!" Oak exclaimed, the others nodded their head and walked towards the entrance of the amusement park.
"I heard new rides have arrived. Kong, I bet you'll love it a lot!" Aim pointed at Kongpob who just laughed.
Kongpob glanced at Arthit who just stayed silent and did whatever the group was doing.
"Come on Arthit, cheer up. We're still on a date you know." Kongpob intertwined their fingers making Arthit snap his head towards Kongpob.
"But I want it to be only us," Arthit pouted inside his mask but Kongpob could imagine the expression on the rockstar's face.
Kongpob chuckled, swaying their hands he said. "We can ditch them in the middle and spend our own time, rockstar."
Arthit laughed at the statement, he nodded his head. Looking down at their intertwined fingers he couldn't help but feel the butterflies again. He felt happy when Kongpob initiated moments like this and it was his favourite time together.
"What do you guys want to ride first?!" Oak asked excitedly as they got inside the park.
"Let's go to the haunted house!" Wad suggested and everyone soon agreed.
Arthit felt his whole being turn cold, he could feel his friend's gaze on him.
"Arthit, you okay?" Kongpob asked feeling the sudden change around the rockstar.
"Huh? Uh- nothing, I'm fine." Arthit smiled under the mask. Kongpob just looked at the latter confused but he nodded his head.
"If you say so."
The group soon walked towards the haunted house according to the map they had in their hands.
Arthit shivered seeing the worn out, grey-coloured house in front of them. It looked creepy and he could hear screams of others from inside. Was it a nice idea?
"I'll give the tickets Arthit," Kongpob smiled at Arthit before he walked towards the entrance with his friends to give the tickets.
"Arthit, are you sure you want to do this?"
Arthit turned towards his friend who looked at him worriedly.
"Don't worry Knott, I'll be fine." Arthit dismissed his friend.
"But-"
"Guys come on!" Wad's voice called out for them.
"Now or never," Arthit took a deep breath. He glanced at Knott who shot him an assured smile.
"Come on Arthit, this will be real fun!" Kongpob intertwined their arms together as he dragged Arthit inside with their friends moving in front.
"Can we go slowly Kong?" Arthit asked.
"Of course!" Kongpob smiled. And soon they entered the darkroom. From outside it looked like a huge house but it was actually a dark tunnel with glow lights here and there.
Arthit closed his eyes tight when he heard creepy noises. The figurines of different creatures were making the inside of his stomach turn.
"Arthit, you okay?"
Arthit felt the other male stop moving, he slowly opened his eyes and looked at Kongpob. The red glow light on the walls reflecting on Kongpob's face. Arthit knows he shouldn't feel this way right now but Kongpob looked damn sexy with the light reflecting on his face.
"Arthit?" Kongpob called out again.
"Huh? Yeah...I'm fine, nothing to worry about. Come on let's go." Arthit pulled Kongpob forward by his hand. Arthit stared down at the floor, trying his best to not look at the scary figurines and ignoring the creepy sound and screams from their friends.
"Woh!" Kongpob exclaimed jumping on his feet and then laughing.
Arthit looked up to know what happened but the next thing he did was screaming his lungs out and hugging Kongpob.
"Arthit! Hey! It's okay!" Kongpob patted Arthit's shoulder.
"Arthit, it's gone." Kongpob tried to hold his smile when Arthit slowly parted away.
"Huh-I-I'm sorry." Arthit internally facepalmed.
"You could have told me that you were afraid." Kongpob bit his lips from smiling.
"I-" Arthit groaned.
"Where are others?" Arthit asked when he didn't find anyone else.
"They all went ahead. Need to walk at least 3 more minutes." Kongpob said. Everyone had walked ahead and new people were at the beginning of the path.
"Let's go back Kong, I don't think I can walk soo long." Arthit looked around. Glaring at the figurine that jumped in front of him that scared him earlier.
"You can't turn back now, we're already in the middle of the path. Just a little more rockstar." Kongpob tired to cheer the latter up.
Kongpob sighed when he saw Arthit's still looking scared. He took a deep breath, he cupped Arthit's face, pulling the mask down he moved his head closer. Before Arthit could recognise what was happening Kongpob's lips touched his.
Arthit closed his eyes, feeling the soft pair of lips on his he felt giddy. It was a short and sweet kiss but it made Arthit's legs feel like jelly.
"What was that for?" Arthit breathed when Kongpob pulled away.
"To encourage you! Now come on!" Kongpob looked everywhere but at Arthit as he pulled the latter's hands and guided them towards the exit.
Arthit help but smile all the way to the end of the tunnel, he did feel jumpy when he heard those screams but when he remembered the kiss he would feel the butterflies inside him.
"Why did you guys take so much time!" Wad asked, smirking when he saw Arthit and Kongpob's smiling face as they walked out of the haunted house.
"Shut up!" Kongpob glared at his friend and soon a lot of squeals where heard.
"Don't make them shy guys...." Knott teased.
"Let's have some ice-cream! All those screaming drained me out." Tew let out a puff of air.
"That's a great idea!"
The group then walked towards the small ice-cream stall that was placed a meter away from the haunted house.
"What flavour do you want Kong?" Arthit asked, pulling his mask up.
"Chocolate." Kongpob smiled, a pink shade still present on his cheeks from what they did earlier.
"Okay!" Arthit bumped their noses together before he followed Knott to buy ice-creams.
"Someone is going to be in a relationship soon," Tew teased his friend.
"And what about you?" Kongpob turned towards his friend, smirking.
"Yeah, what about you? You asked me if you could bring a friend of yours and turns out its Arthit's friend too." Wad raised an eyebrow.
"And you both don't look like friends," Oak added.
"Chill guys! We're just starting okay? Give us some time." Tew scratched the back of his neck.
"Whatever it's Tew, we're here for you." Kongpob patted Tea's shoulder.
"Thanks, man," Tew smiled.
"Ice-creams are ready!" Knott called out as he and Arthit walked towards the group with ice creams in their hands.
Arthit gave Kongpob his chocolate cone ice-cream and then passed others theirs. He took a strawberry ice cream for himself.
"You like strawberry?" Kongpob asked as he licked his ice-cream.
Arthit nodded his head, "Why? You don't like it?"
"Nope, it's too sweet." Kongpob declined making Arthit chuckle.
"I'm a sweet tooth you can say that," Arthit added.
"Yeah, I can see it." Kongpob looked at Arthit through his lashes.
"What do you want to ride next?" Arthit asked, looking around at the various rides.
Kongpob looked around them for a while, "I want to get on the Ferris wheel!"
Arthit smiled, "Okay, then we go there next."
"What about others?" Kongpob asked as he pointed at their group of friends who are just a few feet away from them.
"Let them be, I brought you here so that you could enjoy. I'll tell them that we want to get on that ride and they could continue what they want." Arthit replied nonchalantly making Kongpob smile.
Before Kongpob could reply he was pushed from the back accidentally by someone making him fall forward.
Arthit immediately caught the after by his waist making Kongpob wound his hands around Arthit's shoulder. The two stared at eachother, the ice cream in their hands Kong forgotten. Two hearts started to beat fast and the closeness. Arthit's eyes kept on moving from Kongpob's lips and his eyes.
"I'm so sorry!"
Kongpob pulled away when he heard another voice, looking down at his feet as a small smile spread across his lips.
"It's oka-"
"Kongpob is that you?"
Arthit looked at Kongpob confused when the girl that bumped into Kongpob asked the question.
Kongpob looked up to see the person and his eyes widened soon.
"Laura."
Laura nodded her head smiling.
"Wow, such a long time Kong," Laura smirked as she looked back and forth from Arthit and Kongpob.
"Oh my god! You're with Arthit Rojnapath!" Laura was about to scream but she toned down when she saw Arthit's eyes widen.
"Kong, what happened?" Wad asked as he came towards his friend with others aching along.
"Oh crap!" Aim gasped when he saw Laura.
"What is it Aim? Do you know her?" Arthit asked when he saw Aim's reaction.
Aim looked back at Kongpob who was fidgeting and Laura who was clinging onto another man beside her while she pointed at Arthit.
"She- She's Kongpob's ex-girlfriend."
