"Stop!" Arthit whined as he covered his ears.
Kongpob covered his mouth to stop himself from giggling. He took a deep breath to calm down before he leaned in once again and blew into Arthit's ears.
"Kong!" Arthit whined, he opened his eyes to meet Kongpob's giggling face.
"Stop doing that!" Arthit glared at Kongpob.
Kongpob leaned in and blew air into Arthit's ear when he found the latter dozing off again, he like the reaction Arthit gave him when he does that.
"Kongpob!" Arthit caught Kongpob's waist and turned them over.
Kongpob laughed out loud when Arthit started tickling him. His hands tried to push Arthit away but the other kept on tickling his tummy, neck and shoulders that he couldn't focus on pushing Arthit away.
"Arthit! S-Stop!" Kongpob threw his head back as he laughed, he tried to push Arthit away with his leg but Arthit was sitting on top of him so it was difficult to do that.
Arthit smiled when he saw Kongpob laughing, even tears were coming out of the other's eyes. He decided that it was enough for the day so he stopped tickling him.
Kongpob breathed heavily, the smile still adorning his lips as he wiped his tears. He slowly opened his eyes and the smile on his face soon vanished as his eyes made contact with the dark orbs.
Arthit leaned forward, a teasing smile on his lips as he eyed Kongpob. He chuckled as he caressed Kongpob's hair falling on his forehead.
Kongpob gulped, feeling hot all of a sudden. He felt his toes curl up when Arthit leaned in further. Their face too close and Kongpob felt his heart beating fast.
He shouldn't have blown into Arthit's ears.
"Good morning beautiful," Arthit's husky voice broke Kongpob from his trace.
Kongpob pushed Arthit away and stood up making Arthit chuckle.
Kongpob could feel his neck and cheeks getting hot, he didn't dare to look at Arthit as he knows the latter might have a smug smile on his face.
"Get ready soon, you promised that we'll go to the mall today." Kongpob bit his lips.
"Yes sir!" Arthit saluted, he knows that Kongpob could see him from the corner of his eyes. He smiled when he saw Kongpob's lips curve up.
Arthit got down the bed and walked into the bathroom. He chuckled when he caught Kongpob staring at him making the other boy blush.
"Kongpob, you're doomed!" Kong facepalmed, feeling his face getting hot yet a small smile playing on his lips.
He straightened his posture and took a deep breath. He glanced at the bathroom door and sighed. It's been a week since he came to realise his feelings to his stepbrother. He knows Arthit might also be feeling the same as he does but what if the other is just playing with him?
Kongpob shook his head. He'll bottle up his feeling for the other until he makes sure his assumptions are right.
Kongpob walked out of his room and jogged down the stairs to join his parents at the breakfast table.
"Good morning, Kong," Achara greeted Kongpob with a sweet smile.
"Good morning, son." Kerkkrai smiled.
Kongpob smiled back, biting his lips he replied.
"Good morning, Mom and Dad."
Achara who was stirring tea for Kerkkrai snapped her gaze at Kongpob. Kerkkrai looked up from the newspaper he was reading, a surprised expression on his face.
Kongpob rubbed the back of his neck as he gave a shy smile to them. He smiled wide when Achara walked towards him and engulfed him in a tight hug.
"Thank you Kong, thank you." Achara placed a soft kiss on Kongpob's forehead.
"Don't cry Mom," Kongpob teased when he saw a tear slip down Achara's cheek.
Achara chuckled as she wiped her tears. "I'll get your breakfast."
"No Mom, I'll have it with Arthit. He'll come down soon." Kongpob smiled.
"He's awake? On a Saturday?" Achara's eyes widened.
Kongpob chuckled, "I woke him up, he promised to go to the mall with me today. He knows he'll get from me if he breaks his promise."
Achara and Kerkkrai shared a glance before they laughed.
"Okay."
Kongpob gave a tight smile before he took a seat and just waited for Arthit to come down. He made eye contact with his dad and the two shared a smile.
It's almost gonna be a month since they started to live together and Kongpob feels that it's high time that he gives Achara the acknowledgement she deserves. He didn't call her 'mom' just because he needs to, he did it because he wants to.
Over the short span of time, he started to feel the love of a mother from Achara. She never saw him and Arthit different, she always saw Kongpob as her own son and Kongpob could feel it. Now that he started to accept his feelings about the whole situation he thinks this was the right thing to do.
Afterall Kerkkrai and Achara will get married in two months. And Kongpob was excited for it, though it makes it harder for him with the feelings he have for Arthit.
The last time he had fallen into his friends trap for checking if Arthit I interested in him, he regretted it. He still wasn't aware of his feelings and now the reaction from Arthit was making sense to him now. Maprang and Oak had made up a plan telling May to get closer to Kongpob and act clingy towards him. Kongpob had refused it outright but his friends were adamant on it telling they used to find Arthit stealing glances at him and that they want to see if it's because the latter was interested in him.
Kongpob didn't like the idea because as much as May is ready to do that he knows that Aim has a crush on her and he knows it won't sit well with Aim. But the thought to check on Arthit like that made him feel as if he should do so. He wanted to see Arthit's reaction and even though he felt really uncomfortable with his friend being clingy with him he received a reaction he least expected from Arthit during that time.
Arthit just walked out of the place and he clearly saw the latter was angry. But Kongpob didn't dare to speak about it. His friends have been teasing him from then but he didn't give any attention to it. Now that his feelings towards Arthit were getting stronger by each passing date it was worrying him. He is afraid to confront Arthit.
Kongpob raised his eyes when he heard Arthit walking towards him. He watched the latter talking with Achara.
He sighed, feeling a knot inside his chest.
Achara and Kerkkrai shared a glance at eachother when they saw the change in Kongpob's expression.
"Are you sure it's available here?" Arthit asked for the fifth time.
Kong turned towards Arthit, a pout visible on his lips.
"I'm! It's available here, I always buy it from this mall. Its release date was yesterday so I'm sure we can find it here. Just have to check a few more stores."
Arthit groaned. He was tired, they had been walking for an hour already. Last day Kongpob had been excited about the new release of his favourites book series and told that he'll have to go to the mall to get the new one. Arthit wanted to spend more time with the latter so he told Kongpob that he'll join him too.
"Come on, don't be gloomy. Let's eat some ice-cream before we search again!" Kongpob gave a wide smile to Arthit.
Arthit chuckled as he nodded his head. It's only a few times he could see Kongpob being this excited, he didn't want to break that. And above all, he liked being with Kongpob. Now that their relationship has improved after the talk a week before, he was getting more confident with the latter.
But he knows Kongpob is having his own dilemma with it, and he's waiting for Kongpob to feel comfortable before he voices out his feelings.
"Arthit! Kongpob!"
Kongpob and Arthit turned around towards the familiar voice. Kongpob bit his lips when he saw who it was, he forced a smile when Namtan and another boy beside her walked towards them.
"Nam! What are you doing here?" Arthit asked.
Namtan frowned, "Oh, I came here to wash my clothes. Dumbo! Why does a person come to a mall!?"
Arthit gave an embarrassed chuckle.
"Hi, Jay!" Arthit greeted the person beside Namtan.
"Long time no see, Arthit. You don't want us anymore." Jay teased as he gave a hug to his friend.
"Come on Jay, you know how it's," Arthit whined making Jay chuckled as he nodded.
"So, this is your stepbrother?" Jay smiled politely at Kongpob who waied at him.
Arthit smiled, "Yeah this is Kongpob. And Kong this is Jay, my classmate in my previous school and he's Nam-"
"My best friend!" Namtan cut Arthit off.
Arthit looked at Namtan as if she had grown two horns. He looked at Jay who seems nonchalant about what Namtan said. He has to talk to his friend about it, the sly smirk on Namtan's face was not sitting well with him.
Kongpob smiled, "Hi Jay."
"So, what are you up to?" Namtan asked ignoring the gaze Arthit was giving her.
"Uh...I wanted to buy a new book so Arthit tagged along with we. I still couldn't find it so we decided to have ice cream before searching again." Kongpob replied genuinely.
Namtan smiled, "That's wonderful! Then let's go get some ice cream!"
Namtan didn't give them the time to reply before she dragged Jay and Arthit.
Kongpob was fuming when he saw how casually Namtan was conversing with Arthit. He puffed his cheeks as he jogged to catch up with them. Once he reached beside Arthit he pulled the latter's arm making him stumble a little.
Kongpob pushed the latter aside as he stood between Arthit and Namtan.
Arthit smiled slyly seeing the act, he raised his eyes to look at Namtan who was already looking back at him with a smirk.
'Wait and Watch my boy' Namtan mouthed before she diverted her gaze to the ice cream store.
Arthit chuckled, he slowly nudged Kongpob's shoulder who was walking beside him. The latter only pouted and didn't even dare to look up at him making Arthit wanting to pinch those cheeks but he knows he shouldn't do that at the moment.
"What flavour do you want?" Arthit asked Kongpob as they walked towards the counter to order.
"What flavour are you choosing?" Kongpob asked eagerly.
"Arthit! It's strawberry for you, right?"
Before Arthit could answer Kongpob's question Namtan called out from the counter.
"Yes Namtan," Arthit smiled nervously at his friend who winked at him.
Kongpob glared at Namtan, how does she know Arthit soo well? He clenched his fist, he was hating this now.
"What do you want Kong?" Arthit asked again, hoping Kongpob wasn't irritated even though he could see that on Kongpob's face.
"Chocolate," Kongpob dismissed it nonchalantly.
Arthit bit his lips controlling his smile, getting the reaction he needed. He walked towards Jay who batted his eyes at him. Arthit then gave Namtan Kongpob's order, they soon received their ice cream cups and the four walked out of the shop as they continued to stroll.
Kongpob didn't enjoy his ice cream as he heard Arthit and Namtan giggle beside him.
"Hey, so how is it to have Arthit as your stepbrother?" Jay tried to start a conversation with Kongpob, feeling guilty to see the boy being jealous of Namtan and Arthit's act.
"Yeah," Kongpob turned towards Jay, giving him a small smile.
"So, what do you think about Arthit? I heard that everything was a little fast for you guys."
Kongpob bit his lips, "To be honest, I wasn't very fond of Arthit at first. But later on, I found that he is actually a good person."
"Don't tell him that I told that," Kongpob whispered.
Jay chuckled, "Of course."
Kongpob sighed, he finished his ice-cream without much interest in it before he dumped the paper cup at the nearby dustbin.
"Kong, are you okay?" Arthit asked as he waited for Kong to join them. Namtan and Jay had walked ahead so he waited for Kongpob.
"What makes you think I'm not?" Kongpob raised an eyebrow as he walked back towards Arthit.
"I know you didn't like Nam joining us."
Kongpob rolled his eyes, "Glad that you at least know that."
Arthit sighed, "Come on, Kong. She's just being friendly."
"Yeah, I can see that," Kongpob mumbled to himself.
"Did you say something?" Arthit furrowed his eyebrows.
Kongpob shook his head, he looked around as he walked and soon spotted a book store.
"Arthit, I'm going there. You can join me if you want or stay with your friends," Kongpob eyed Namtan who made herself busy with Jay before he walked inside the store.
Kongpob wasn't liking the fact that his time with Arthit is ruined because of Namtan. Why does she have to be soo over smart? It was getting on his nerves and he couldn't stand to see how Namtan and Arthit were interacting, it seemed soo fishy. And Kongpob wasn't fond of the feeling he was getting. So better he find a way to distract himself.
Arthit gaped as he stared at the direction Kongpob walked away.
Arthit looked at Namtan and Jay who was now staring back at him.
"Nam, you'll pay for this." Arthit pointed his finger at his friend.
Nam rolled his eyes, she stuck her tongue out at him.
"I'll take her Arthit, enjoy your time with Kong. Tell him we said bye." Jay said as he waved at his friend before pulling Namtan away.
"I doubt this time with Kong will end soon," Arthit shook his head. He took a deep breath before he entered the store and tried to find Kongpob.
"Honey, what are you actually planning?" Jay intertwined their fingers.
"Just wait and see, love," Namtan giggled.
Jay shook his head, knowing Namtan, Arthit and Kongpob sure will have a closure soon.
Kongpob puffed his cheeks as he exited his class. His friends were stealing glances at eachother not knowing what was causing their friend to be soo moody.
"What happened? Did he and Arthit fight?" Oak whispered to his friends.
"Don't know, but I'm sure it has something to do with Arthit." Maprang whispered back.
"How are you soo sure?" Aim asked.
May rolled her eyes, "Come on Aim! Are you really Kong's friend? He had been all over Arthit for the past month, he comes to school together with Arthit and goes back with him. But today, not only did he and Arthit came early to school on Kong's father's car, Arthit seems soo busy with something. And it's clear that Kongpob is hating the fact that he's not getting the attention he wants from Arthit."
"May's right," Maprang gave a thumbs up.
"By the way, where's Arthit?" Oak asked.
"How would we know?" Aim rolled his eyes.
They sighed as they followed Kongpob to the cafeteria. It was recess time and so they had plenty of time to question their friend about the change of behaviour.
Kongpob puffed his cheeks as he grumbled to himself as he took the food tray, he didn't even see if his friends were following him or not as he walked towards an empty table and sat down to eat his lunch.
Aim and May shared a glance, they shook their head sympathetically before they walked towards the table to join Kongpob.
"Cut it Kong! You're annoying!" Maprang snapped, she couldn't take it anymore.
Kongpob raised his eyes to meet his friends' faces who were staring at him tiredly.
"What?"
"If you don't want that lunch then just give it to me! You don't have to stab on it like that!" Oak looked at the food tray in front of Kongpob which was being treated soo harshly by his annoying friend.
Aim smacked Oak's head, "Focus on your plate, dummy!"
May just rolled her eyes, she turned towards Kongpob who was now looking out at the garden.
"Kong," she called out.
Kongpob turned his face, raising his eyebrows.
"What is bothering you? Did you fight with Arthit?"
Kongpob furrowed his eyebrows, "What makes you think it has anything to do with that idiot?"
"It's definitely about Arthit!" Maprang confirmed snapping her finger as if she solved the hardest puzzle.
"No, it has nothing to do with him." Kongpob bit his lips.
He started stabbing his plate of rice with yeh fork unconsciously making Oak reach forward and pull that tray away from Kongpob.
"Don't do that to the poor rice!" Oak glared at Kongpob. "Spit out whatever that's messing your brain up! Until then I won't give you the food tray!"
Kongpob sighed. "Just leave it, I'm just being silly."
Maprang rolled her eyes, "Seriously? What's wrong with you? We know exactly that it has something to do with Arthit! Ever since you and him became friends you never called him irritating words like that and today you called him an idiot, that alone is a big sign my boy. And you've been all soo gloomy the entire day! Didn't talk to Arthit or messaged him like you usually do for the past few weeks, you didn't even try to search for hi-"
"He's not interested in me anymore!" Kongpob blurted out in between making Maprang stare at him with mouth agape.
"He what?" May stared at him, shocked.
"You heard what I said already!" Kongpob looked down at his hands, trying to hide his blushing face after he realised what he just blurted out.
"And why do you think so?" Aim asked, totally not understanding his friend.
Kongpob gulped, "For two days he had been ignoring me! He only talks to me when I ask him anything! He's always on his phone messaging! And he didn't even make a fuss when I asked him to clean the study table! He usually won't clean the table until I have to run behind him, scolding him to get it done! And yesterday night he asked dad to drop him early at school because he had some urgent work to do! When I asked him he couldn't say it, telling it's not time for me to know about it! What is that he's hiding from me!? Does he hate me now? Does he think that I'm boring?"
Aim pushed the bottle of water towards Kongpob who was gasping slightly as he spoke out soo much. Kongpob took the bottle and gulped down half of its content.
"Now my boy, so you've finally fallen for him." May teased her friend.
Kongpob's eyes widened. He placed the bottle back on the table.
"I guess so...."
"You've fallen hard, Kong." Oak pointed out making Kongpob bite his lips.
"Why didn't you tell him yet?" Aim asked.
Kongpob shook his head, "I'm not sure about it. We're stepbrothers, our parents are going to get married in two months and I'm also not sure if he feels the same towards me."
"Bullshit!" Maprang rolled her eyes.
Kongpob looked up at his friend weirdly.
"You would be a fool to tell that Arthit doesn't like you! Seriously Kong!? By now the whole school knows that Arthit only has eyes on you! You're just too dense to see that!" Maprang snaps, she had enough of her friend playing hide and seek.
"What do you mean?" Kongpob gulped, he's aware of a small part of it but he doesn't what to accept it and raise his hopes.
"This is why we tell you to socialize more, than being a bookworm," Oak shakes his head at his friend. Aim turned towards him and high fived as they laughed leaving the girls to shake their head at their behaviour.
May chuckled at the flushed face of Kongpob, "Arthit had been receiving a lot of confessions since he joined the school! He declines each one of them!"
Kongpob bit the inside of his cheeks.
"And we aren't blind, we can see how he steal glances at you and smiles at your direction at every chance he gets to communicate with you. Even though back then you were acting annoyed of him, he still approached you! He was such a gentleman to you!"May added.
Kongpob sighed, leaning back on the bench. Letting the situation dawn on him. But every positive thought that came to him was being pushed aside by the negative ones and for once he was hating it real bad.
"You better tell him though, what if he's waiting for you to speak up?" Aim nudged his friend as he moved his seat to sit beside him.
Oak, May and Maprang stared at Aim, they knew very well Aim was up to something. Hearing realisations from Aim's mouth was a rare moment.
"What-what if it's just doesn't work out? What if he doesn't feel the same?" Kongpob but his lips.
"He ignored me for two days straight, and-and that breaks my heart. Everything was okay between us, then why suddenly? I didn't even see him after reaching school today, he just went with his own business. Did he realise that he didn't love me anymore?" Kongpob could feel the tears prickling on the corner of his eyes. He bit the inside of his cheeks as he tried to control his tears.
The table turned silent, his friends didn't know what more they could say. They know that their friend is very sensitive at heart and also an overthinker, and they knew it's hard for him to keep all of the thoughts bottled up.
Sometimes you just need a person to listen you speak, without any judgements or any other interference. Just to listen to your endless thoughts.
" Arthit!"
Kongpob snapped his head towards Aim, hearing him exclaim, he turned to the direction where Aim pointed his hands towards the garden but he couldn't see Arthit there.
"Where?! He's not there." Kongpob's bottom lips pulled out in a small pout.
"He just walked over to the other side! Go Kong, he wouldn't be here if he didn't want to see you. His class is far from ours, you know right?" Aim nudged Kongpob's shoulder.
Unconsciously Kongpob stood up, he was about to walk ahead to check upon Arthit when a sudden urge of confessing took over him.
He looked down at his wrist, the thing black bracelet on his wrist making him smile a little.
Arthit had bought him a black bracelet when they went to the mall last day, apologizing for Namtan's behaviour since Arthit clearly understood that it annoyed Kongpob. What suprised him more was that Arthit had the same bracelet, when he asked why Arthit bought the same for both of them the latter has just blushed as he told he just liked it that way and choose to not make more talks on it.
All those actions are a proof, right?
Kongpob looked back at his friends who nodded at him and asked him to go. Kongpob smiled and nodded his head before he jogged towards the other side of the garden.
"Was Arthit really there?" May asked Aim who had a smirk on his lips.
Aim took out his phone and opened a chat before he handed it to May.
"You're sneaky!" May laughed before she handed the phone to Prae so she and Oak could see it too.
"It was planned huh!" Oak laughed turning his head to face the garden where he saw his friend jogging off to.
"If he doesn't confess today I don't think when he'll," Maprang shook his head.
"So, what really happened Aim? What are all these set up?"May asked.
Aim cleared his throat before he started explained about the incident two days back when he met Bright and Namtan.
Kongpob halted on his steps when he saw two figures leaning under the huge tree at the end of the garden fence. His palms formed into a fist when he saw the scene in front of him.
He had jogged towards the other side of the garden, towards the opposite side to where their cafeteria was situated. There weren't any students there since many are busy having their lunch. Kongpob had expected Aim to make a fool out of him but he had least expected to see such a scene in front of him.
"What the hell are they doing?" Kongpob took further steps ahead as he mumbled to himself.
Kongpob could feel his whole being on fire as he watched Namtan's fingers trace Arthit's shoulders as Arthit's back leaned on the tree. Namtan's back was faced towards Kongpob so he couldn't clearly see Arthit's expression.
But sensing the lack of responsiveness he was seeing on Arthit's side, he was sure that Arthit wasn't interested.
He should save Arthit from her. Namtan is not at all good for him.
His eyes widened and lips parted as he realised that Namtan was going to kiss Arthit. He could understand that from the angle her head was tilted and her face was moving closer.
Kongpob didn't think twice before he ran towards them, he knew he pushed Namtan away and glared at Arthit.
"What are you doing?!" Namtan appeared shocked.
Kongpob didn't even care what Namtan was spouting, he just glared at Arthit who was biting his inner cheeks.
"So this is why you wanted to come early to school today!? To flirt with her! This is why you had been ignoring me ever since! This is why you didn't even have your lunch today! Is flirting with her more important to you!? What are you doing Arthit!?" Kongpob was fuming.
"I don't know what you're speaking about, Kong." Arthit played innocent as he took a step forward making Kongpob take a step back.
"Y-You are ignoring me! You are always on your phone when I see you! You don't act like the spoiled brat you're with me! Did you find your ideal lover in her!?" Kongpob pointed at Namtan who was just standing there at the same spot she was pushed to, staring at them with her hands against her chest.
"I-I hate you! I- I hate you Arthit!" Kongpob shouted as he took step backwards as Arthit didn't stop stepping forward.
An eerie escaped Kongpob's lips when his feet hit a stone, he closed his eyes expecting him to land on the floor but two warm hands wrapped around his waist and pulled him up.
"You were saying you hate me, do you really though?"
Kongpob shirvered when he heard the low, strong voice beisde his ear. His hands clutched on Arthit's uniform shirt as he slowly opened his eyes, his vision blur as tears clouded his eyes.
"I hate-I hate myself because I can't hate you!" A sob escaped Kongpob's lips.
A small smile graced up Arthit's lips when he saw the pouting lips of the other male as he confessed indirectly to him.
Arthit pulled him closer, caressing Kongpob's bangs that fell over his forehead making it hard for Arthit to see the latter's expressive eyes.
Kongpob puffed his cheeks as he swat Arthit's hand away, making the latter chuckle.
"Why are you soo bothered about me and Nam? Why? Can't we get close?" Arthit pulled Kongpob tighter towards him, a smirk playing on his lips.
"I don't like it! I don't like you being close to her!" Kongpob shouted, the jealously and pain of the thought of losing Arthit clouding his mind.
"You're jealous," Arthit cupped Kongpob's cheeks, he was glad that the latter didn't push him away.
Tears slide down Kongpob's cheeks as he glared at Arthit, "Yes! I'm jealous! Because I fucking love you!"
Arthit gasped, his eyes wide as he heard Kongpob's confession. He had prepared for the worst in his mind and for the best too, but he didn't keep the hopes up high, so hearing Kongpob those words to him made his heart flutter.
"You love me?" Arthit whispered.
"Yes I love you! I love you soo damn much! I love you soo much yet I keep falling deeper for you! I don't know if you feel the same or not but I want to tell this to you! I love you Arthit," Kongpob sobbed. Looking down to his feet to hide his teary face he pushed away from Arthit.
"Kong..." Arthit caught Kongpob's hand.
"You can't just leave like that after confessing to me," Arthit chucked as he took a step towards Kongpob.
"Just leave me, Arthit," Kongpob wiggled his hand from Arthit's grip. He looked up when Arthit pulled him closer, he gulped when he saw the smile that lingered on Arthit's lips as the other stared at him.
"What?" Kongpob asked as he sniffled, he stared into Arthit's eyes, forgetting they were at school, in the middle of the garden.
"You're cute," Arthit rested his forehead against Kongpob's. " And I love you too, Kong."
Kongpob gasped, "You-you're not joking right?"
Arthit chuckled, he pulled away and cupped Kongpob's cheeks. Before Kongpob could react his eyes widened as a soft pair of lips pressed against his.
It was a short kiss, soft and sweet. Kongpob's heart pounded in his chest as his knees got weaker. He could only focus on how soft the other's lips felt against his as they nibbled softly.
Arthit pulled away, he looked back at Kongpob who was staring back at him with those big innocent eyes, gaping at him. Arthit could feel his ears getting hot as he stared into Kongpob's eyes.
"Now do you think I'm joking?" Arthit batted his eyebrows.
Kongpob snapped out of the daze, he broke the stare as a shy smile stretched across his lips.
"That was a tricky way to say that you weren't joking."
Arthit laughed, he pulled Kongpob into a hug, almost crushing the latter who hugged him back with the same vigour.
"Took you long to confess," Arthit mumbled.
"Then, what about you? Why didn't you confess then?" Kongpob asked back.
Arthit giggled, "Okay, we both are idiots."
"And you are the biggest idiot," Kongpob pouted.
Arthit laughed, "Whatever you say."
"Hey, you lovebirds! Stop it already!"
Arthit and Kongpob parted away, suddenly feeling shy.
"Shut up Bright," Arthit glared as he turned around to face his friends.
"So, the show is over. Right?" Aim chuckled as he looked at the couple.
"What are you doing here?" Kongpob narrowed his eyes seeing his three friends beside Arthit's friends.
Namtan chuckled, she took a step forward towards Kongpob and waved her hands at him to get his attention.
"By the way Kong, you don't have to be jealous of me. What you saw moments ago was a part of shooting a short film for our film club," Namtan tried to hold her laugh when she saw Kongpob's eyes widen. She pointed at Knott who had a camera in his hand.
Kongpob could feel his whole face grow red as he gaped at them. He looked up at Arthit who was trying to hold his chuckle.
Arthit smiled sheepishly back at Kongpob, "There was no other way to find out whether you were feeling the same way towards me, I know I'm dumb but when Nam told about this idea I thought it was good."
"And besides, we already had to prepare a short film for the club so I thought it was the best idea. And I asked Aim to help too." Arthit added.
Kongpob turned towards his friend who was scratching the back of his neck.
Arthit chuckled, "And when he told that you clearly had feelings for me, I thought, why don't I rile you up?"
Kongpob smacked Arthit's shoulder, glaring at him with a flushed face.
"And Kong," Bright called out. "Nam didn't kiss him, it was just the angel tricks!" Bright winked.
"Bright!" Kongpob bit his lips, he just wanted to dig a hole and bury himself inside it.
"Plus! I have a boyfriend," Namtan gave a knowing look.
"Huh?" Kongpob blinked.
Namtan chuckled, "It's Jay, the one you met at the mall with me. I just wanted to mess with you and see what your reaction was, that's why I told he was just a friend."
Kongpob covered his face, "Too much information for today."
All of them laughed at what Kongpob said.
"Now, we won't see you moping over your unsaid love for eachother," Maprang smirked.
Kongpob giggled, he looked up at Arthit who smiled back at him.
"Now everyone! Back to their own business!" Knott snapped his finger, "And Arthit, be back within an hour, we still have scenes left to take."
Arthit gave a thumbs up at his friend before he turned towards Kongpob, he took the latter's hand and dragged him to the basketball court.
When they reached the court, they took seats on one of the benches. A shy smile on each of their lips as they stole glances at eachother, falling into a comfortable silence.
"So, what was the need for you to do a kissing angle for the short film?" Kongpob narrowed his eyes, teasing the latter as he started a conversation. He didn't know what else he could say, it felt different now.
Arthit raised an eyebrow, "Really? You wanna talk about that?"
Kongpob stared back, giving him a demanding look.
Arthit chuckled, "Well, the topic we got is 'love'. The story is about high school sweethearts, that one scene you saw was just a filler romantic scene, typical ones. The story shows how the couples face challenges as the female lead is under treatment due to a disease causing her to die at the end."
Kongpob nodded his head at what Arthit said, "Good luck with the shoot then."
Arthit smiled, "Why are you being soo awkward? Is it because we confessed to eachother?"
Kongpob blushed as he looked away, "It-It's just feels soo surreal. One moment I was doubting on your feelings on me but then both of us confessed to eachother. It seems soo fast that I can't believe it."
Arthit placed a hand on Kongpob's, "Will you be my boyfriend?"
"After all of that, do I have to answer that question?" Kongpob raised an eyebrow, the smile still on his face.
Arthit chuckled, "Well, officially?"
Kongpob laughed, "Yes Arthit, I'll be your boyfriend."
Arthit smiled wide, he bit his lips to contain his smile. He could butterflies with the happiness he was feeling.
"Wanna deal it with a kiss?" Arthit looked up with a naughty smile on his face.
Kongpob pushed Arthit, glaring at him. "Shut up!"
Arthit laughed as he sat straight. Kongpob gave a small laugh, elbowing Arthit.
The two fell into a comfortable silence. Kongpob turned his face to look at Arthit who was staring down, swinging his legs as he smiled. Kongpob giggled. He sat closer to Arthit and laid his head on his shoulder.
Arthit stiffened. He glanced at his shoulder and smiled wider when he saw Kongpob's smiling face with closed eyes. Arthit took a deep breath, leaning his head on Kongpob's as he intertwined their fingers.
