"Kongpob! Come out please!" Noel banged on the door.
He groaned in frustration, gripping his hair back.
"Kong! You can't sit there for your whole life!"
"Noel, hey, it's okay." Lian caressed his fiancé's shoulder. "Give him some time."
Noel glanced at his fiance, visibly calming at the other's touch. He turned towards Lian, sighing.
"If he keeps up like this nothing is going to change. Both are hurting, they have to talk."
Lian nodded his head, "I know Noel, Kong has to accept it himself. He's still inside the nest he had made, he has to come out of his boundaries."
Noel bit his lips, he checked his watch, calculating internally.
"Noel, what did you do?" Lian stared at his fiancé, his eyebrows raised.
"Nothing. Wait for a few minutes." He shrugged his shoulders.
"Noel!" Lian's eyes widened, "You didn't."
Noel glanced at his lover, pulling the latter closer by his waist. "Don't worry, babe. If they both don't take any initiative we have to do it."
"But Arthit will-"
"I've talked to him." Noel smiled. Lian gasped. He wasn't expecting it.
"They already lost 5 years. Both have their own faults. I may not have realised it earlier but as days pass we both know that Kong is hurting. We might be his close friends but that doesn't mean we shouldn't point out what needs to be fixed. We cannot always walk on the path Kongpob likes himself to be in. If we can fix things between them, then we should, Lian."
Lian pursed his lips. What his fiancé said made sense. He knows this is needed. But he's worried for Kongpob. Even though he had only known the latter for a few years Kongpob had turned to one of his close friends. The latter had opened up to him about everything that happened, how Dae was born.
It shocked him when Kongpob said he had been hiding the fact about Dae's other father. Even though Lian thought the other man deserved it at first but later on he realised how much it was difficult on both sides.
How Dae was deprived of his other father's love. It was harsh. But he couldn't blame Kongpob too. The latter's insecurities made practical sense.
"Dae is worried about Kong too, Lian. Kongpob hasn't been the same since they returned from the hospital. And we know what's going through his mind. Arthit has to know about it, if not now, in the future. But now is the time. We can't hide Dae from Arthit, Lian. Maybe Arthit doesn't deserve it but Dae deserves to know."
Lian looked up at his lover, nodding his head with a small smile.
"So first. Kongpob and Arthit should talk."
As if on cue Noel and Lian blinked as the doorbell rang. Lian rolled his eyes seeing Noel smile wide. Even in a situation like this Noel's reactions were comical, as if he was doing some secret mission- well, it's kind of like that.
How did he even fall in love with this guy? Lian facepalmed as he saw Noel rushing downstairs. Looking back at the closed door he sighed before following his fiancé downstairs.
Lian glanced at Dae who was looking over from the couch, in front of the TV, with a pout evident on his lips as he gazed at the door watching Noel walk towards it.
He sighed, if the boy wasn't feeling down he would be the first one to rush towards the door to open it.
Sighing he glanced at the door. Watching as Noel opened the door. He bit his lips seeing the other male at the other side.
"Come inside," Noel gave a thin smile as he moved aside, letting the other walk inside.
"Thank you."
"Uncle Arthit!" Lian chuckled as he watched Dae jump out of the couch as he ran towards Arthit who stepped inside the house.
"Hey buddy," Arthit smiled, ruffling the little boy's hair who hugged his legs.
"You didn't tell me you'll come here," Dae pouted, his rosy cheeks puffed out.
Arthit smiled, glancing up at Noel and Lian who nodded their heads.
"I came to meet your Papa, I heard he made Dae sad." He kneeled, matching Dae's height.
Dae's face immediately clouded with worry, he bit his lips.
"Papa is sad."
Arthit gulped, watching how concerned Dae was, it was breaking him. After what happened at the hospital he isn't sure anymore about what is going on around him. Everything was confusing. All the possibilities were clouding his mind.
Especially about Dae.
He wanted answers. Clear up the mess he had become. But Kongpob wasn't ready. When he asked what this was about Kongpob stayed silent. Telling he doesn't want to talk about it.
Arthit felt frustrated. He wanted answers. Just one word to confirm all his speculations but Kongpob was pulling away. And Arthit didn't want to pressure him. He didn't want to lose Kongpob again.
Not now. Not when he got his hope back.
But after Noel called for him to have a talk. He was sure he had to do it.
Arthit stared at Noel, waiting for the other to speak.
"This is not my place to reveal things to you. It's Kongpob's choice, his responsibility. But I can't stand here and watch my friend hurting himself anymore. And you too. As much as I hate you for what you did, you don't deserve this."
Arthit gulped. Noel's friendly talk was new to him. Whenever he saw the latter at company meetings with Kongpob, Noel's tone of voice was indeed different. Giving an unsettling feeling inside him.
"You're saying?" Arthit folded his hand over the table. The hustle-bustle of the cafe shop surrounding them.
Noel took a deep breath, "I want you both to talk. Solve this. Have the talk that you weren't able to do before he left. I know you have many things to explain."
Arthit bit his lips, his shoulders feeling heavy with a weight that he didn't know existed. The fear walking over him.
"B-But Kong doesn't want to-"
"He doesn't want to talk because he's afraid he'll hurt himself again. He doesn't want the past to repeat."
Arthit's lips trembled. He knows it's his fault. He was selfish, did everything upon his feelings. Doing what first came to his mind, not caring of what the other felt.
There was a 'we' back then that he failed to notice. He forgot to think about the 'us' in their relationship.
When he finally realised, everything was too late.
"I can see what you've been trying to do, K'Arthit. And I really wish, this time it won't be a repeat of the past." Noel sipped on his tea.
Arthit nodded his head, a sigh leaving his lips.
"It took me 5 years to correct myself as much as I could. I won't say I am perfect now, free from all the fault I've done but I know one thing that I will keep trying." The confidence that emitted from Arthit's voice made Noel smile.
He could see the hope that was shining in the CEO's eyes.
"It took me time to separate what's bad and good. Change what I previously thought was right. It took long, but I can promise that the past won't repeat." Arthit never thought out of all the people he would be talking about this, it will be Noel he will have this conversation with.
Noel nodded his head, "Give that promise to Kong, Arthit. He needs that assurance."
"I won't say it's only you who's at fault. Kong has his part too. You both should talk through it and I'll make sure you have it before it's too late again."
Arthit nodded his head, feeling a lump forming in his throat that he was trying to push down. But all the possibilities were overwhelming him, knowing he was getting that chance he had been waiting for. Answer to many questions sooner.
"And please clear the air between you and him that Namtan caused. I hope you have already made a decision with that woman." The bitterness in Noel's face as he talked about her was very much relatable to Arthit at this point.
A frown immediately took over Arthit's features. "It's my fault that I let her control me. But I've changed it. Brought her to the place she deserved."
"Can you ask Papa to not be sad?"
Arthit blinked, chuckling as he stares into the hopeful eyes of the 5-year-old.
"I'll, Dae. I promise you that I will talk to Papa and vanish all his worries away." He caressed the boy's hair as he stood up.
He glanced at Noel who nodded his head, walking closer to him.
"Dae, how about we made lunch together? We'll surprise Uncle Arthit with our cooking skills!" Lian stepped forward, wrapping an arm around Dae's shoulders.
"Yeah! We'll make Papa's favourite! I wanna make him happy too!" Dae immediately got distracted, his eyes shining at the idea his uncle Lian had put forward.
Lian laughed, "Of course, buddy! Let's go!"
Dae glanced back at Arthit who smiled widely at him. "You won't leave before lunch right, Uncle Arthit? We'll make good food for you!"
Arthit felt as if someone was warming up his insides. The innocent words from Dae, the sparkle in his eyes and those dimples popping out was stirring something inside Arthit. He couldn't point it out yet. Or rather, he didn't want to.
"Of course, buddy. I'll surely stay to have the delicious lunch made by you."
Arthit internally cooed at the genuine wide smile from Dae, making him wanna pinch those puffed out cheeks. But it also reminded him of what happened a week ago. When he saw an unconscious Dae, with a bleeding nose, in Kongpob's arms, it ached him soo much that a shrieking bolt of pain washed over him.
One moment Dae was smiling and playing soo brightly and enthusiastically with them and the next second they know is that the boy was sick. Arthit somehow felt....guilty.
Arthit watched as Lian took Dae to the kitchen, not before the younger giving a pat on Arthit's shoulder and an encouraging smile.
"Let's go. His room's upstairs." Noel walked ahead.
Arthit took a deep breath, following Noel. His insides were shaking and he felt as if he was ready to pass out but he cannot. He can't miss this chance.
"Where're his parents? Do-Do they stay with him or?" Arthit asked. Feeling genuinely curious.
Noel smiled, "Uncle and Aunty are at the hospital. P'Kik is also with them. Uncle had a heart attack, he's recovering from it."
"P'Kik will come by evening though. She has a three-year-old daughter now, so it's hard to stay at the hospital for the full day."
Arthit's lips formed an 'O', he nodded his head. Taking in the information.
He stopped in his tracks when they reached in front of a white door. Arthit shared a look with Noel.
"Kongpob? Can you please open the door?" Noel knocked. Waiting for a response but there wasn't any luck.
Noel sighed. "There's someone who has come to meet you. It's urgent."
"You don't have to lie to me! Just leave me alone Noel!" An angry voice replied from the other side. They could hear how disoriented the voice seemed.
"I'm not lying Kong." Noel gave a sly smile to the other male who raised his eyebrows. "Arthit is downstairs. He's with Dae."
Just as those words left his lips, within a few seconds the door flew open, revealing a dishevelled looking Kongpob, eyes puffy and cheeks flushed. Wearing a baggy black and white striped t-shirt and tracksuit.
Noel watched as his best friend gaped at the man in front of him. The already puffy eyes pooling again, those lips trembling. Noel could only sigh as he glanced at Arthit who seemed as if he got knocked off by a punch.
Kongpob blinked a few seconds later. Realising what was happening. His breath uneven as he immediately stepped back, pulling the door shut but before he could do that Arthit was fast on his reflexes that be placed his leg between the door. Earning a painful groan with the door forcefully banged against his leg.
"P'Arthit!"
Noel watched amused as his best friend stepped closer. Pushing Arthit's leg away from the gap, the door wide open as Kongpob started to scold the elder male for pulling that stunt.
"What were you thinking!? It could have broken your leg or something!" Kongpob didn't know what he should be doing, he didn't think Arthit will do something like that.
Noel chuckled internally. You're doing the exact opposite of what you're speaking, Kong. Well, all good for a better future.
He knew Arthit will handle it from now on. He wasn't needed here. As much as he would like to just end the misunderstanding by speaking out about whatever happened in the 5 years, it wasn't his place. Kongpob is the one who should be telling Arthit.
Giving a last look to the oblivious pair he walked away, heading downstairs to join his fiancé and Dae in the kitchen.
"It won't break my leg, Kong." Arthit smiled, taking a step closer. His chest whelming up at the amount of concern in Kongpob's demeanour.
Kongpob gulped. Realising the gap between them was much closer than needed, he stepped back. Sniffling.
"What-What are you doing here?" The whisper left the younger's lips making Arthit's smile drop.
"I'm here to talk, Kongpob."
"P'Arthit, please-"
"Kong." Arthit stepped forward, he doesn't know if he has the right to do this but he took Kongpob's trembling palm into his own trembling ones. Making Kongpob gasp.
"Just-Can we talk please, Kong? I know it's hard for you. I know well why you're avoiding me. But what happened at the hospital is really confusing me. I need answers, Kong. Please."
Kongpob stared into the shaky eyes of the elder. He felt guilty. Extremely guilty for what he has done, he just didn't want any more of the trials to be done. He couldn't trust Arthit with the truth in the past and he isn't sure about it now either. Or maybe he just couldn't accept it.
"P'Arthit, please. There's no use hearing me out. You- you got a family out there with your-"
"I don't have a family."
Kongpob blinked, his eyes staring confused at the older male. "B-But-"
Arthit shook his head, taking a deep breath as he stared at their intertwined hands.
"I-I didn't marry Namtan. We're over. Long time back."
The younger's eyes widened. His breath uneven as he registered what the older male has just said.
But, wasn't it what Arthit wanted from him? What about the divorce paper he had signed?
"But K'Namtan said she-you wanted-" Kongpob retreated his hand back from Arthit's hold. All the thoughts messing up his head.
"It took me time to realise how she was using me. I-I'm sorry for what she had done to you, Kong. I didn't know about her visiting you that day. All of these, I-I wasn't aware of it and she was using both of us."
Arthit began to panic seeing how Kongpob was stepping away from him.
Kongpob's eyes widened, shock taking over his features. "What do you mean by you weren't aware!?"
Arthit bit his lips, watching as Kongpob gripped his hair tight as he turned away from him. Those shoulders rising and falling in an aggressive phase. As if the younger was feeling difficult to breathe.
"Kong," Arthit stepped inside Kongpob's room. His one arm was around the younger's shoulder as he closed the door behind.
He doesn't want anyone to hear them out in the middle of the conversation. They have to talk this out properly. Privately.
"I know what happened between you and Namtan." Arthit stepped away, feeling the warmth of the younger slip away from his arms.
He still hasn't reached the point that he could hold Kongpob like in the past. First, he should earn the latter's trust. And they can take steps. Together. If Kongpob wants.
"Mae told me everything. I don't know the real details, I only know about what your mother told my Mae. And I know that caused a large drift between us." Arthit sighed. His eyes fixed on Kongpob who had his back facing him.
"And I promise you, Kong. I didn't know about that agreement. I didn't know she had planned something like that! When I found out about it I couldn't believe that she did that." He could feel his eyes burning from the tears that he was stopping from falling.
The moment he realised everything, the rage that gripped over him was still plastered in his mind. He would never forget that day. He never hated a person soo much.
"You-you didn't know? So, how did she know about the agreement between us in the beginning? She told me you kept a copy of it before tearing the real one."
Kongpob turned around, facing Arthit. He felt as if the whole world was falling upon him. All this was a misunderstanding if what Arthit said is the truth. And the thought itself is making him feel guilty. A deep hole forming inside him.
"I-I told her that. I had spoken to her and end whatever I and she had. I thought if she knew how my feelings were towards you, she'll understand and leave me alone. And I told her about the agreement unconsciously. I just wanted to vent it out. I- I didn't think she'll pull a stunt like that."
Arthit bit his lips as he saw tears staining the younger's cheeks. He wanted to reach out and wipe them away. But the look on the other's face, all the emotions that were going through those deep set of eyes were telling him to give Kongpob the time he needed.
"That day, when you were at the h-hospital, I was actually driving to your house. To apologize and make things right. I realised how important you're to me, Kong. Your absence was hard on me. But things changed. I-I didn't feel worthy enough for you after what happened."
"All this time, I-I thought," Kongpob gripped his hair, just because of that one fear he had hidden Dae.
Just because of Namtan's words he never tried to reach Arthit, instead, he pushed further away, finding all the possibilities to hide the truth. Even though it hurt him deep down.
"You-You're not lying to me, right?" Kongpob looked up at the elder, their eyes bloodshot, emotions all over the place.
Arthit immediately shook his head. "No, Kong! I'm not lying! Please trust me on this! I'll never lie to you!"
A shaky breath left the younger's lips, his tears falling endlessly.
"I-I'm sorry, P'Arthit-I-I shouldn't have-" Kongpob couldn't even complete his words as sobs escaped his lips.
All the walls he had built around himself breaking down. It was too much. All of this was built on a lie and Kongpob started to curse himself for not giving Arthit the chance to talk.
He shouldn't have stayed away.
"Kong," Arthit's eyes widened, seeing the younger fall on his knees. Covering his face as loud sobs escaped his lips.
He quickly knelt beside him, pulling the latter closer to him. A sigh of relief left his lips when Kongpob pushed closer to him, the warmth surrounding them.
"It's not your fault, Kong. It's not your fault. Even I would have acted like that. I'm sorry for ruining your trust. I-I was a fool, an idiot who didn't realise your sincere love for me." Arthit bit his lips, gulping down the sobs. He wanted to be strong for now, seeing Kongpob breaking down was hurting him too.
He hasn't seen the latter soo weak.
"But-but I did a big mistake P'Arthit! I-I-" Kongpob clutched onto the other's shirt. Feeling a dread gripping over him.
Each sob that left Kongpob's lips were piercing through Arthit. The fact that he was the reason for all of this gripping over him hard. If only he wasn't a fool back then.
"I'm the one who is at fault, Kong. I-I hurt you. Threw away the love you showed to me for selfish reasons. I'm at fault. I shouldn't have given up on us. I shouldn't-"
"No P'Arthit!" Kongpob shook his head, pulling away from the warm embrace. "I did a huge mistake! I lied to you all, P'Arthit!"
Arthit blinked. His eyebrows furrowed.
"Kong, I don't understand what-"
"We didn't lose our child, P'Arthit."
Kongpob stared into the dark orbs of the elder. His own lips trembling, his body shaking as he spoke out those words.
There was no use in hiding it. If not now Arthit will surely ask about the hospital's incident to him and he wouldn't have any other choice but to say the truth. And Noel will surely ask him to reveal it too.
He knows what he had done is extremely wrong. But the fear that gripped around him gave no other choice. All that was in his mind was to let his son live, bring his baby into the world. Even if Arthit won't be in his life, he will have his son with him.
"K-Kong, you mean t-that..." Arthit gulped. His voice shaking. His eyes were misty as he slowly registered what the younger said.
Did that mean his assumption was true? Did that mean Dae was? Arthit's eyes widened.
"Yes, P'Arthit. We didn't lose our son. I-I lied to you! I lied to everyone! I asked the doctor to do so! I-I'm soo sorry, P'Arthit! I'm sorry!" Kongpob stared down at his hands, clenching them in a tight grip, his knuckles almost turning white.
He felt like screaming out loud. Let out the frustration in any way possible. But he felt too drained out. These few days he kept regretting upon all that he did, feeling guilty for not telling Arthit. He was afraid, still is. Until he heard what Arthit said.
All of it was a lie. And he took actions based on those lies. He wouldn't be able to forgive himself for that. He hid his son from his other father.
"Is-Is Dae our son? Was that why at the hospital you-you-"
Kongpob nodded his head, head still hung low and he tried to control his tears.
Arthit's shoulders tensed up. His face blank as he stared at Kongpob. Tears rolling down his cheeks. He didn't mind wiping them away. A small smile stretched across his lips.
"D-Dae is our son. I-I didn't lose him." A whisper left his lips.
The elder closed his eyes tight, feeling a weight being lifted from him. A part of the guilt he had washing away. All this time he blamed himself for losing their child. That it was him who caused it. It was him who ruined the little one's life.
But now, all his assumptions were cleared.
"I'm sorry P'Arthit, I-I'm so sorry! It's my fault! I shouldn't have left like that! I should have given you the chance to speak to me!"
Arthit blinked his eyes open. His features turning soft as he moved closer to the younger. Taking his hands in his. Rubbing the palm with his thumb.
"No, please don't blame yourself. I-I know you have a reason for it. I-I don't judge you, Kong. No, never." Arthit gave a small smile as the younger glanced up at him.
Kongpob sobbed, clutching tighter into their hold.
"I-I was soo afraid, P'Arthit. When she came and gave me the agreement telling you were asking me to abort our child I didn't know what else to do. After I woke up at the hospital Dr Ann told me our son was fine, that he-he held on to me. She was happy to go tell our parents about it but I-I-"
His voice cracked as Arthit reached up to wipe his tears away. The smile on the elder's lips was breaking Kongpob apart. Why wasn't Arthit being angry at him? He hid the latter's own son yet Arthit was here, smiling softly at him as he wiped his tears away.
"I-I was afraid if you knew that our son was alive, you and Namtan will ask me to abort him. She-she told me money can do anything. What if you somehow manage to get my signature on that agreement? I didn't want that to happen. So-so I told Dr Ann to say that we lost our child. I made her promise that she won't disclose it to anyone. She didn't agree at first but I begged her to."
"I didn't want to lose our son. Even if you were apart from me, our son would be there with me. I-I'm sorry I lied to you! I-I didn't think that all of this was made up by Namtan!"
Arthit pulled the latter closer to his embrace. Both having tears in their eyes. Realising they could have made things better years before. If only one could reach up to the other, if only the other waited.
"Please don't cry, Kong. It's not your fault. You protected your child. Any parent would do that. It's not your fault that you believed what Namtan said. At that time my character was so as that you couldn't help but think of the possibilities of me doing something like that. It's not your fault." Arthit caressed the other's hair. Feeling drained out with all the emotions swarming inside them.
Kongpob hugged the latter back, feeling the warmth that he had missed for a long time. The set of arms wrapped around him, caressing his hair was giving bringing back all the muddled feelings for the elder to the surface.
"I'm sorry for what happened, Kong. I'm sorry for being a jerk. I searched for you. I kept searching for you, to apologize, to make things right. To ask for a chance. But I couldn't reach up to you. It was as if nature didn't want me to find you." Arthit inhaled the earthly smell of the younger male.
All the mistakes he made in the past flashing through his mind.
"Can-Can you please give me this one chance, Kong? To be with you and our son. Together. Just one chance?"
The elder pulled away, cupping the younger's face in his trembling palms. Dabbing away the tears that's rolled down his cheeks.
Kongpob sniffled, feeling his chest clench as he stared into the elder's eyes. Pain flashing over the elder's features. Desperation filled in his voice.
He hasn't seen Arthit soo weak before. Begging for a chance to him. The Arthit in front of him was soo different. With his guards down and pouring out his feelings.
Whenever Arthit got the chance to talk to him since they met the latter tried to make their bond work. Desperately trying. And each time, Kongpob felt himself melt.
But he was afraid. What if the past repeat? He cannot handle it once more. He knows he's being selfish and that he shouldn't be too. He knows Dae needs Arthit. Now that Arthit knows about it, he has to tell Dae too.
He can't hide it any longer. If he does, it will be extremely wrong to both Arthit and Dae.
"Kong, please. I-I'll do anything. I promise you I won't hurt you! I promise you that I'll take care of you and Dae. I just want this family again." Arthit sniffled. His eyes glassy.
Kongpob bit his lips. Reaching forward to wipe the tears away from teh elder's cheeks. A small smile forming on his lips.
Can he lie to his heart?
Arthit smiled, stepping in closer towards the other male.
"Can-Can I have a hug?" Arthit bit his lips, his cheeks turning a shade of pink as he stared into the set of dark chocolate eyes.
A soft giggle left the other's lips as he spread his arms open, "Of course, P'Arthit."
Wide smile bloomed on the CEO's lips. Arthit immediately reached forward, wrapping his arms around the younger male. His arms wrapped tightly around the other's waist. Nuzzling his face into his shoulder, he inhaled the enchanting scent that made him feel at home.
"I'll come back soon, Kong. I'll come back soon."
Arthit took in the warmth of the younger male. Kongpob's words still playing in his mind.
"You're still guilty for everything that happened, P'Arthit. You blame yourself over and over again. So I want you to give yourself a chance first." Kongpob intertwined their fingers.
"Kong," Arthit's breath hitched. He wasn't expecting for the latter to say something like that.
Kongpob gave a small smile. "You're walking on shells around me, P'Arthit. Overthinking every action that you does. Even with Dae. You think at least ten times before you do or say something."
The elder bit his lips. He doesn't know how the younger could always see through him. Even in the past, Kongpob was the one who knew him better than himself.
"I-I'm afraid to ruin this chance you've given me, Kong. I don't want to mess this up."
Kongpob just smiled as he watched the other talk. The elder wasn't meeting his eyes and he knew the other was overthinking again.
"This is not the P'Arthit I know. The P'Arthit I know doesn't really have a filter while talking to me, always have me on the edge with your silly gestures and carefree smile."
Arthit didn't know that he had held his breath all the while he heard Kongpob speak until he felt suffocating. He let out a puff of air, the younger's gaze soft on him.
"People change, Kong."
Kongpob shook his head. He turned his face towards Dae who was playing at the park. Arthit followed the younger's gaze. Smiling as he saw his son playing with the other kids.
"People do change. I agree. But this change in you is not because of time. It's because you're still guilty over your actions upon me. Guilty for behaving that way in the past. The guards you've put on is of guilt, P'Arthit. And I can say that it's is a big trap. Pulling us away. In the deepest corners of our heart." Kongpob gulped.
Arthit closed his eyes. Too afraid to open them as he isn't sure if he has his emotions in control.
"Past is past, P'Arthit. If we have to move on in life then we have to let go of what happened." Kongpob turned towards the elder. Reaching forward to cup the other's face, making Arthit sigh in content at the warmth.
"I want you to free yourself first. Give time to yourself before we start this new journey. I trust you in this P'Arthit. I'm giving you this chance because I know you'll give your best for 'us'. We have to let go of the past, P'Arthit kharp."
Arthit nodded his head. His lips trembling.
Kongpob smiled. Dabbing his thumb over rosy dusted pale cheeks. "I want you to let yourself free. Go back to Bangkok. Settle everything. Talk to Mae and Por. A proper talk. Pouring all that you have in mind, like you did to me. Fix things."
Arthit opened his eyes. Uncertainty filling his features but it soon washed away when Kongpob tiptoed, a pair of soft lips pressing against his forehead.
"Come back to me then. To start a new, fresh start. With Dae. With our son. With our small family."
"Daddy doesn't want my hug!"
Arthit and Kongpob pulled away, chuckling as they looked down at their son who pushed himself between them. Pouting at them.
"Of course I want your hug!" Arthit raised Dae in his arms. Swirling him around making Dae giggle and laugh, before Arthit brought the little boy into a tight embrace.
"I'm gonna miss you, buddy." Arthit pressed his lips on his son's forehead. Smiling when Dae's hold over him tightened.
"Then don't go. Dae miss Daddy too." Dae pouting. Pulling away from the hug, his small arms around his Daddy's neck.
Arthit and Kongpob glanced at eachother, chuckling at their son's words.
"Daddy has to go, Dae. But I promise I'll come back." The elder locked his gaze with the other male. "Will come back soon."
Kongpob smiled shyly, feeling his cheeks getting warm with the strong gaze of the elder.
"What if you won't come back like last time?" Dae was almost on the verge of tears that he buried his face into the crook of Arthit's shoulder. Wrapping himself tighter around the elder male.
Arthit's features softened. He glanced back from his son to Kongpob who just smiled at him assuringly.
"I won't go away like last time, baby boy. Daddy will come back to you and Papa soon. I just have to finish some things back at home."
"Promise?" Dae pulled away.
Arthit chucked. "Pinky promise!"
Dae giggled. Placing a quick kiss on Arthit's cheek he turned towards Kongpob who took him from the elder's arms.
"You should get going. It's getting late." Kongpob smiled.
Arthit nodded his head. Taking his suitcase he gave one last glance at his small family.
"See you Kong. Take care." Arthit leaned in to place a kiss on both of his precious people's cheeks.
Kongpob nodded his head, giving a full-blown smile. "I'll be waiting for you, P'Arthit. We will be waiting for you."
The younger watched as Arthit walk through the security checking of the airport, glancing back at him and Dae from time to time.
Kongpob glanced at Dae who was enthusiastically waving back at his Daddy. Shouting cute 'Bye! Bye!'.
Kongpob watched as Arthit stepped closer to Dae who had his back towards him as he helped Lian set the table up for lunch.
"D-Dae."
Kongpob held his breath, observing Arthit's train of expressions as Dae turned to face the elder male.
"Uncle Arthit! I helped Uncle Lian to cook the-"
Kongpob covered his mouth, tears falling from his eyes as he saw Arthit pull Dae into his arms. The elder falling on his knees as the little boy got completely engulfed in the big man's embrace.
"D-Dae. Baby boy." Arthit choked on his tears. Memories of the time when Dae was still in Kongpob's belly rushing into his mind.
He used to talk to the little baby inside during those days. Calling him 'baby boy' and telling stories as Kongpob teases him for doing so.
Kongpob glanced at Noel and Lian who stared at him with wide eyes. He nodded his head with a teary smile. Conforming their thoughts. He chuckled when he saw them letting out a huge sigh of relief.
"I missed you soo much, baby boy. I-I'm so sorry I wasn't here for you." Arthit pulled away, peppering kisses all over his son's face making the little boy giggle.
"U-Uncle Art-Arthit! St-Stop! It tick-tickles!" Dae's fingers gripped onto Arthit's shirt.
Arthit chuckled. Reaching up to cup the small face in his palms. He just stared at his son's face. Now that he focuses on it, Dae got a lot of features from him. His dimples and round eyes. His milky skin. Why didn't he give much thought to it earlier?
"Oh no! Uncle Arthit is crying!" Dae's small doe eyes widened as he panicked. His eyes trailing on the tears that rolled down Arthit's cheeks.
"Papa! Uncle Arthit is crying! He's hurt!" Dae immediately looked up at Kongpob.
Arthit just chuckled. He didn't trust his voice at this point. He's afraid he would break down again at this point. After knowing that your baby who you once thought was gone forever was actually with him all this time was overwhelming him.
Kongpob walked forward, kneeling beside Arthit. It was time.
"Baby, I want you to listen carefully to Papa." He gulped when he saw his son nodding his head worriedly.
"When Dae asked about daddy, what did Papa say?"
Dae stood silent for a minute before a pout formed on his lips.
"You told that Daddy went somewhere far and that he'll come back to see Dae one day. And Dae has to wait for that day."
Arthit bit his lips, glancing at Kongpob who too had tears rolling down his cheeks.
"What if Papa says that Daddy is back, to see Dae?"
The little boy's eyes widened. "Really!? He came to see me!?"
Kongpob chuckled through his tears, nodding his head. "Yes, baby. Daddy is here."
"Where!? Where is Daddy!? Is he here!? Is he hiding!? Playing hide and seek with me?" Dae frantically looked around. Completely forgetting about Arthit who was warmly smiling in his way.
"Uncle Arthit is your daddy, Dae."
Dae blinked. Stopping his frantic search. His small set of eyebrows furrowed. "Huh?"
Kongpob nodded his head as Dae turned towards him. He pointed at Arthit. Softly pushing Dae closer to the elder male.
"He came to us, baby. P'Arthit is your Daddy. Like Papa told, he finally came."
Dae just stared at Arthit with his mouth wide open. Confusion taking over at the sudden realisation.
"W-Why did you lie to Dae?" The little boy couldn't help but ask.
"Why didn't you tell me that you're my Daddy?"
Arthit choked on his tears. His lips trembling.
"Daddy is sorry, baby boy. Daddy wanted to surprise you."
Dae's lips pressed into a thin line, his lips quivering as he tried not to cry. Yet his eyes already started to whelm up.
"Y-You're really my Daddy?" Dae's stuttered.
A shaky breath left Kongpob's lips. His hand over his chest as he felt the clench in his heart. An unknown warmth seeping through him as he watched Dae launch himself on Arthit who nodded his head as he whispered a 'yes'.
It took some time for Dae to get used to the fact that Arthit was his other father. He was familiar with addressing Arthit as his 'Uncle Arthit' so the sudden change was uncomfortable for him.
But Kongpob and Arthit were there for him. Kongpob didn't slip any chance to let Arthit and Dae have their bond.
And within the two months they were together, their bond was getting strong. And it warmed Kongpob up. Seeing Arthit and Dae get along with eachother, as father and son, Kongpob couldn't help but regret what he did in the past.
But there was no point in worrying about it at the point. Just as he told Arthit, he has to move on too. Try to get over the mistakes he has done.
With Arthit going back to Bangkok, it also gave Kongpob the time to have his thoughts processed. Thinking over everything.
He wanted to start new by the time Arthit comes back. Give both of them a chance. Bring a good life for Dae too. Giving the happiness they deserve. It is hard for him, as much as it's for Arthit.
But he's happy with the improvement.
Arthit met Maya and Kerkkrai too after they were back home from the hospital. Maya and Kerkkrai weren't very happy with it at first. They weren't aware of Arthit's arrival as Kongpob didn't disclose it to them. Even though Kik knew about it. He couldn't hide it from his sister.
It took a lot of explanation from Arthit's and Kongpob's sides to get Kerkkrai and Maya to believe that they weren't fooling around this time. Kongpob told them that Arthit knew about Dae.
He told about the misunderstanding that occurred between them. Telling that Namtan was the one who lied to them. Playing with their feelings.
And that finally made his concerned parents give Arthit the chance he deserved. Warning the CEO to not hurt their son again.
It was a new beginning for them. And Kongpob promised himself that he'll give his everything for this. After the elder male proving his commitment to the bond they had, he was sure about the chances they were taking.
"After all that Namtan tried to do to us, she backed off just like that?"
Arthit took a deep breath. He stared at the evening sky, leaning on the railing at the company's rooftop.
"No. It didn't go smoothly. She was persistent."
Kongpob gulped. Not knowing if he want to talk further on this but he was curious. He wanted to know.
"What happened?"
Arthit sighed. Glancing at Kongpob who turned towards him.
"I got her arrested."
"What!?" The younger wasn't expecting that at all. His eyes widened as he replayed the words in his head.
Arthit nodded. "Yeah, she was a fraud too. You don't know what all she did, Kong. All that she told about her coming back to me from the US was all made up. She was actually fired by her company because she tried to backstab them. Some illegal business with their rival company. They didn't let it out so as to keep their company's reputation."
Kongpob could only stare at Arthit. He never thought Namtan could be doing something like that.
"She wanted fame and whatnot. And the best option was for her to come back to me. Then you were there. She found it as a hindrance. And when I finally chose you over her, she lost it. And that led to her pulling that stunt."
When he found out about this, the first thing he did was to make a way for Namtan to pay for what she did. She deserved the punishment. He did everything in his power to get her behind bars.
"I found all the evidence against her. Got my lawyer to deal with the case. There won't be any agreement that I'll arrange without my lawyer's notice so the agreement that Namtan bought to you was fake."
"She was soon behind bars. But it didn't end there. She went hysterical. Did everything she could to break out of prison. She was diagnosed with mental issues."
Kongpob gasped. "W-What happened to her now?"
Arthit sighed. "She's at the prison's asylum section now. Getting treated."
Kongpob bit his lips. Looking down at his hands over the railing. Clutching the metal rail.
"What about her parents?"
Arthit glanced at the younger male. He could see the concern over the latter's face. After all that Namtan had done, Kongpob was still concerned for Namtan and her family.
"They were really disappointed. She didn't have much contact with them as she always argued with her parents. I knew her parents too since I was in a relationship with her. I met them a few times, not much. She didn't like me interacting with them."
"It was really sad to see them continuously apologizing to me for what their daughter did."
Kongpob moved closer to Arthit. Leaning his head on the elder's shoulder.
The elder gave a small smile when Kongpob took his hand in his and caressed it.
As the days passed Kongpob felt as if it was a really bad idea on his part to ask Arthit to not contact him till he returns.
He just wanted Arthit to focus on other things than Kongpob and Dae for now. Focus on making his relationship with his parents settled, and set himself free from the tension he was carrying all these years.
Now that Arthit knows Kongpob and Dae are here, waiting for him, the younger didn't want Arthit to get distracted. So he asked the latter to not contact him. Taking it as a fresh beginning for the elder male.
But here he was now, missing the elder male dearly. Now, knowing that the elder was his again the urge to reach out for Arthit was huge.
And not to mention his son always reminding him of Arthit. That dimpled smile and round black eyes always have him think about Arthit. Not that it didn't before, but now that everything between them was settled he couldn't help but think about Arthit more than he already does.
With Dae constantly asking how his Daddy was and when he'll come back, his parents and sister would always laugh at it.
Not to mention even his 3-year-old niece, Laila, giggles at him along with the elders. He doesn't even have to talk about Noel and Lian.
"Papa, did I do it right?" Dae pushed his notebook towards Kongpob who zoned out in between.
Kongpob blinked. Coming back to his senses he glanced at his son, who was expectantly staring at him, chewing the back of his pencil.
"Dae." Kongpob gave a stern look.
Dae's eyebrows furrowed, when he realised what his Papa was indicating at he let out a nervous laugh, pulling out the tip of his pencil from between his teeth.
"Oops! Sorry!"
Kongpob chuckled. Shaking his head he took Dae's notebook.
Kongpob paused suddenly, he glanced at the door, hearing the doorbell ring.
"I'll go!" Dae immediately volunteered.
"No!" Kongpob stood up, making Dae pout as he sat back on his chair.
"Do your other homework, I'll go and check. And no sneaky peaky, Dae." Kongpob playfully warned his son who puffed his cheeks and looked back at his open book in anger.
Kongpob couldn't help but chuckle, he ruffled his hair.
"I'll go and check, Kong. You continue to teach, Dae." Maya began to stand up from the sofa. From where she and Kerkkrai were watching the TV. Kik was sitting beside them, with Laila in her arms who was dozing off.
"No, Ma. It's fine. I'll go check." Kongpob smiled, walking towards the door.
One thing he wasn't prepared for was to see the man who he had missed for weeks stand in front of him as he opened the door.
"P'Arthit!?" Kongpob gasped when he was suddenly pulled into a hug. Almost raising him off the floor.
"I missed you!" The elder's deep honey voice whispered against his ears.
Kongpob wrapped his arms around Arthit's shoulder. Burying his face into the crook of Arthit's neck. Inhaling the musky scent he had missed soo much.
"I missed you too."
Arthit smiled. Kissing the base of the younger's neck as he swayed.
"Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!"
Kongpob's eyes widened, realising he was still holding onto Arthit, in the elder's embrace. Forgetting that their son and others were watching them.
Clearing his throat he immediately pulled away, making room for Dae who ran up to Arthit who caught him in mid-air and swirled him around, making their son giggle.
Kongpob's eyes met his parents who were standing a few feet away, smirking in his direction. Kik winking at him.
He coughed, feeling the base of his neck and cheeks get warm.
Get a grip Kongpob!
"Daddy missed you, baby boy!" Arthit peppered kisses over his son's face, making the little boy giggle.
"Dae missed you too!" Dae placed his small, soft palms on either side of Arthit's face. Leaning forward and bumping their noses as they giggled.
"Aw Dae." Arthit smiled, his dimples in display as he rocked Dae in his arms.
"Daddy won't go again, right?" Dae asked, expectantly.
Arthit glanced at Kongpob who was staring at him, a shy smile on his face.
"No baby boy. Daddy won't go anywhere. I promise."
Dae giggled. Wrapping his arms around Arthit's neck as he rested his cheek against Arthit's cheek.
Arthit could only smile. Feeling a special, endearing warmth spread through him. Overwhelming him inside out.
He glanced up at the elders who were smiling warmly at him.
"Swadee Kharp Ma, Pa, P'Kik." Arthit bowed, Dae still in his arms. Refusing to get down.
"Swadee Arthit." Maya smiled. Her back leaning on Kerkkrai who stood behind her. His palm resting on the side of his wife's waist.
Kerkkrai nodded his head at the younger male."Everything settled?"
"Yes, Pa. Everything settled." His eyes moved to the honey skinned man. Smiling warmly at him. "Ready to start again."
Kerkkrai and Maya glanced at eachother. They were happy. Even though it took some time for them to accept Arthit back. Seeing their son and grandson being happy with the latter's presence was warming them up. They had already given the chance to Arthit. And they just hope, this time, everything settles fine.
"We're glad to hear that, Arthit."
Kongpob couldn't hold in the smile that threatened to form on his lips. He can finally start a new beginning. And this time, he trusts Arthit. After all that the elder had gone through in the past, he's slowly trusting the latter. In them.
"Take him to your room, Kong. He might be tired from the flight." Maya turned to her son.
Kongpob blinked. Coming back to his senses. He nodded at his mother before turning to Arthit.
"Dae, get down now. Let Daddy rest for some time."
"No!" Dae tightened his grip over Arthit making his grandparents laugh while Kongpob rolled his eyes.
Kik could only chuckle seeing her brother in distress.
"Come on, Dae. You still have your homework to do." Kongpob pointed at the table where books were scattered.
Dae pouted. Shaking his head.
Arthit chuckled. "Dae, listen to Papa. After you're done with your homework and Daddy takes a shower, we'll play."
Dae's eyes sparkled. His innocent dimpled smile forming on his lips.
"Promise!?"
Arthit laughed. "Promise baby boy."
Dae immediately slipped down Arthit's arms and rushed to the dining table where his books were on. Everyone couldn't help but let out a small laugh watching the scene in front of them. Warmth spreading through them.
Kongpob helped Arthit with his luggage before they excused themselves.
They climbed up the stairs in silence. Arthit's eyes fixed on the younger male who was in front of him. A small smile on his lips.
Walking into the room the younger immediately closed the door behind after letting Arthit inside.
"Why didn't you tell me you're coming back today!?"
Arthit chucked, setting his suitcase aside from the younger he pulled Kongpob by his arm, their bodies flushed against eachother. The younger's arms involuntarily placed over the elder's shoulder, while Arthit had his arms around Kongpob's slender waist. Pulling him closer.
"Why are you scolding me?" He pouted. "I just came home from a long one hour flight and you're scolding me. You're mean."
Kongpob rolled his eyes, yet he couldn't stop the smile that formed on his lips.
"I didn't scold you, I was just...asking." Kongpob stared into the dark orbs of the elder. Gosh, he misses him soo much.
Arthit chucked, bumping their noses together, surprising Kongpob who blushed.
"I wanted to surprise you. Did it work?" He gave a playful smile to the younger. Licking his lips making the other's eyes trail on the action.
"I-It did." Kongpob gulped. He so badly wanted to kiss Arthit. But no. Not yet. Control Kongpob!
"Good." Arthit pressed their foreheads together. Closing his eyes.
Kongpob followed. Closing his eyes he pulled the elder closer by his arms around the latter's neck. Their bodies flushed against each other. Feeling the warmth of eachother.
A smile gracing on both of their lips as they held onto eachother. Warmth seeping through them. A shiver running down them at the proximity.
"I have something for you, Kong." Arthit opened his eyes. The younger still had them closed and Arthit couldn't help but admire the beauty of the younger. His fingertip tracing the latter's soft cheek.
"Hmm?"
Arthit released his hold over the younger's waist. Making Kongpob blink his eyes open as he watched the elder take out a small wooden box.
"What is it?" The younger glanced confusedly at the elder.
Arthit smiled. Opening the box. "Remember that divorce paper you had signed for me? Well, I-I didn't give it for further process. I threw it away. Long back."
Kongpob's eyes widened, staring at the ring that Arthit pulled out of the wooden box. His lips trembled as he felt himself choke on his tears. The familiar object between Arthit's fingers where bringing memories to him.
Arthit smiled, pulling away he took Kongpob's hand in his.
"I had kept this ring safely. Over the past 5 years. In hopes of getting to you one day and ask for a second chance." Arthit smiled.
The elder stared into the younger's teary eyes. "Legally, we're still husbands."
Kongpob choked on his tears. A sob escaping his lips as Arthit brought the ring towards his finger.
The small white diamond on the platinum ring reflecting the light from the room.
"As I promised. I'm here in front of you, fresh to start a new beginning. With our little family." Arthit smiled ever soo softly, his dimples in slight display.
"Can I?"
Kongpob looked up from the ring. Chuckling through his tears as he nodded. He felt a lump in his throat preventing him from speaking.
This man has just literally stepped inside the house and now he was making him cry a river.
Arthit smiled wider. Giving a full tooth smile as he pushed the wedding ring into the slender finger of his husband.
He leaned down, placing a soft kiss on his knuckles making Kongpob chuckle through his tears.
Arthit stumbled a step back as Kongpob launched himself on him, wrapping his arms around his neck. Arthit smiled, holding his husband closer to him.
"I-I love you, P'Arthit. Soo much." Kongpob pressed his eyes tight. Letting his tears fall.
Arthit hugged him tighter. Pressing his face into the latter's neck as he inhaled his earthly scent.
"I love you too, Kong. Soo damn much. And I'm never going to let you go."
He was finally home.
With his family.
"Are you ready?"
Kongpob stared at himself in front of the mirror. Taking a deep breath for the umpteenth time.
"It's time already?" Kongpob asked, glancing at his mother.
Maya chuckled, stepping inside. "Your groom is impatient. And I think we should get down the aisle soon or else he might pass out from too much nervousness."
A chuckle escaped Kongpob's lips. Shaking his head he turned towards Maya. Stepping closer.
Maya smiled. Reaching her hand to caress her son's cheek.
"I'm happy for you, Kong. Finally, we're having your dream wedding."
Kongpob leaned into the touch, "I already had a wedding, Ma. Remember?"
Maya shook her head. "That wasn't a wedding for you back then, Kong. Just an agreement between two people who will be trying to work things out. But this time, even if the groom is the same, there's love between you two."
"There's this glow on both of your faces. Anticipation to reach eachother. Pure love radiating within you. The excitement. Everything is real this time."
Kongpob pouted, reaching to wipe the tears that rolled down his mother's cheek.
"You'll make me cry too."
"Oh cut it! Kik told me you cried a river when Arthit had send you the letter." Maya laughed when Kongpob's eyes widened.
"I made her promise me to not tell you guys!"
It's not his fault that Arthit had sent him a love letter an hour ago and the elder had to practically worship him with words, profusely declaring how much he's in love with him. And that he couldn't wait to see him after a whole week of staying away from eachother.
Can you blame him for tearing up!?
Maya shrugged her shoulders. "What can I say? She's my daughter."
"Then who am I?!" Kongpob whined. His eyes darted to his father who entered the room.
"Come on, what's going on here?" Kerkkrai smiled, standing beside his wife.
"Nothing, just teasing him." Maya winked and Kerkkrai could only chuckle.
Kongpob stuck his tongue out.
"Look at him! He's getting married for the second time, has a son and he's still being a baby." Maya pointed out. Chuckling.
Kerkkrai just shook his head. His smile not faltering for a second.
"Enough of that you both. We should get going. It's time."
Kongpob let out a puff of air. He felt a shiver run down his spine as he held Kerkkrai's hand. His parents giving him a warm smile as they walked out of the dressing room.
Arthit's breath hitched. His eyes fixed on the man who walked down the aisle as slow music started playing in the background.
He bit the inside of his cheek. Seeing Kongpob smiling softly at him from afar as he walked towards him, holding Kerkkrai's hand, it was bringing an overwhelming wave of elation in him.
Feeling as if it was a dream. But here he was, very much in reality. Seeing the love of his life wall down the aisle to tie the knot with him. Once again.
Arthit took a few steps forward, smiling wide as Kongpob walked closer. The younger's hair was gelled to the side, wearing a marron tuxedo suit, with a white undershirt. With a maroon bow tie.
Just in contrast to the Arthit's black undershirt and maroon tuxedo suit and tie.
God. Kongpob looked soo gorgeous.
Kongpob doesn't know if it's because he was getting overwhelmed by all the wedding jitters or the sight of the person who had turned into his world standing at the end of the aisle that was making him tear up. Nevertheless, he was too overwhelmed with happiness. Being able to recreate this day, with all the feelings he had dreamed of having in his wedding had made him overwhelmed.
A year into getting back together, Arthit proposed to him again. Asking him if he'll marry the CEO of Rojnapath Enterprises once again.
And Kongpob remembered, he was the happiest man that day as he mumbled hundreds of 'yes'. Feeling all the emotions over again. A wedding that will be filled with love and passion. With happiness.
A new beginning for them.
Kongpob glanced at the side. A chuckle leaving his lips as tears rolled down his cheek when he made eye contact with his son who was beside his Kik and Evin at the corner. He smiled at Achara and David who were beside his son, smiling warmly at his way.
Dae waved at him enthusiastically, jumping slightly making Kongpob shake his head as he smiled, his son's lips forming a full dimpled smile. Dae was in a suit too, Kongpob himself had dressed him that morning. Dae looked like a little prince and he couldn't help but coo internally.
Their little prince.
"You look soo beautiful, Kong."
Arthit whispered as soon as Kongpob was in front of him. Kerkkrai moved to the side after he placed his son's hand on his son-in-law's.
Kongpob smiled through his glassy eyes, tears sliding down. He chuckled when Arthit wiped them away, pressing their foreheads together.
"You look charming too, my prince."
Arthit smiled wider, his dimples in display. "Am I really your prince?"
Kongpob nodded his head. His lips quivering as he smiled. "Yes. Yes, you're my prince charming."
A few seconds of composing themselves, Arthit held the younger's hand in his as they're walked towards the wedding podium. Their guests smiling warmly at them.
"Dear family and friends, we have gathered here together to witness the joyful moment of these two wonderful men as they exchange their vows of marriage. Thank you for your presence for this sacred occasion."
The couple couldn't help but smile as they stood facing eachother. Hand in hand as the officiant recited prayers.
It was just a small ceremony. Only their close family members and friends at the large garden of the Rojnapath Family mansion. Just for their happiness and a new beginning. After all that they had gone through, they deserved this start.
"Please recite your vows."
Arthit glanced at the officiant. Nodding his head in understanding. He took a deep breath as he faced Kongpob.
"The thing about love is that it catches you unaware, turned up in the most unexpected places, even when you weren't looking for it. When you thought you already had enough." Arthit gulped.
All the memories flashing through his mind.
And as the ever understanding man Kongpob was, the younger squeezed his palms. Giving smiles of encouragement. It was just the beginning, and he was already like this. Oh, Arthit!
"The unexpected take you out of it sometimes. But it can also take you over and change your life in a full sense. Put a heart in you where it was just blank space. A vacuum.
And Kong, you're the one who filled me again. You made me realise what real love is. Came into my life in the most unexpected way, swept me off the ground with your love." A small smile graced his lips.
"Our journey didn't start with feelings of love and respect. It was hard. Filled with tears, yet there were beautiful memories that kept us going.
But now. Standing here, marrying you once again, I can repeat a thousand times more that, I'm in love with you, Kongpob. In love all over again. For the rest of our lives together."
"You've taught me things and opened my eyes to see life so differently and clearly. You've shown me the meaning of love and have made me become the man I'm today. Gave me chances and accepted me as who I'm along with correcting me."
Kongpob bit his lips, the emotions filling up the elder's eyes were burning him. Burning him with passion and immense love. He felt weak on his knees.
"You forever have my heart, my soul and my hand as we continue this journey with our son.
I don't want to promise that'll love you, because it isn't a promise. It's an imprint within me, within my soul that I'll love you. Always. Know that I'll respect you and cherish you forever.
No matter where life leads me, I know that as long as you are there, that is where I am meant to be in."
"This is my sacred vow to you." Arthit gave the most charming smile to the man in front of him. Smiling through the tears of happiness.
Kongpob melted internally as Arthit pulled his palm up and kissed his knuckles. Earning squeals from their family and friends.
Kongpob smiled staring down at their intertwined fingers as he took a deep breath. Clearing his throat, getting his emotions in control.
"Today seems like it's the start of a new journey, but all throughout I knew we always found our way to eachother. Even in times of being away from eachother, each day I had searched to get a glimpse of you in chance. Knowing, you might find me. And in the end, you did." Kongpob smiled as he looked up to meet the dark orbs staring back at him with soo much love.
On the five years of being apart, Kongpob had always searched for that one familiar face in the crowd. It was an involuntary search on his part. Something that came naturally within him.
And when finally he met him, he didn't know what to feel. All things that he covered up was nagging his mind.
But in the end, everything was for the better.
"This adventure that we're on, has already challenged us as a couple, to work through hardships and obstacles, and to become stronger in our communication, in our commitment and to our love.
I promise you that we'll continue to build upon the trust that we have and I'll be by your side fully and faithfully"
"Standing here in front of you and the people that we both love so dearly, I recite from the deepest part of my soul, I love you P'Arthit Kharp. Will always love you."
Arthit gulped. Letting out a shaky breath, feeling the depth of the younger's words. The weight those words hold, the emotion in the younger's voice was all that was needed for Arthit to fall on his knees.
"My mind, my soul and my heart. They’re all yours. Everything that I have and everything that I am, belonged to you long ago, P'Arthit. It always searched for you. No matter what the circumstances were." The younger gave a tight smile watching how the tears were threatening to spill from the elder's eyes.
"Together we will create a home and life that is truly beautiful and filled with love and light and laughter. With our little prince in our life, it will be filled with more joy."
"Let us be a home for each other, forever and ever.”
Soft breeze caressing their faces as they finished their vows. Two men smiling warmly at eachother. Conveying all the love that they had never been able to say out loud in words. No words completed the intensity they shared within themselves.
Smiles never fading, they stepped closer to eachother as their wedding rings were passed on. Sliding on the rings of their left hand's ring finger. Admiring the symbol of their love, their marriage with a different feeling this time.
"I now pronounce you as husband and husband."
They shared a glance, giggling to eachother as they closed the gap between them.
Arthit's arms wrapped around Kongpob's slender waist, pulling him closer as their lips claimed eachother. The younger's palms rested on his shoulders. Pressing over the fabric as they tilted their heads. Deepening the kiss.
The cheers and squeals of the guests slowly fading away from their senses. It was just them. In their own moment. Enjoying the new promise and beginning they have made.
Kongpob's eyes widened as he yelped into the kiss. Feeling himself being lift off the floor. Arthit's arms were safely wrapped just below his back, their lips still in contact as Kongpob wrapped his arms around the latter's shoulder.
Kissing slow, yet passionate. Nibbling onto the soft flesh as they sealed their promise. Smiling into the kiss as Arthit swirled them around.
They parted away, soft giggles leaving their lips. Eyes shining and cheeks dusted in rosy shades. They rested their foreheads together. Staring into each other's eyes, hooded with the declaration of love. Promise to hold on to eachother.
"I love you," Kongpob whispered. Closing his eyes.
"I love you too. Forever and more." Arthit bumped their noses.
"Forever and more." The younger leaned in, sharing a quick peck. Letting out giggles as he rested his head over the elder's shoulder while Arthit tightened his hold over him. Smiling wide.
