"I'll drop you off, P'Sing. Come on."
Singto bit his lips, eyes fixed on the man who walked ahead of him. Whistling as he played with the car keys on his fingers. He nodded at his manager before following the younger.
When the younger knew that Singto was feeling tired and wanted to go home as soon as possible he didn't hesitate to give the elder a ride home. Singto's manager was busy with arranging his schedule and other works, so it would take time for them to actually move out of the place they were currently at. And the elder's manager didn't protest when they put forward the option of leaving early. And the younger loved driving for the elder anyway.
"Kit, careful." Singto's hand involuntarily reached out when he saw Krist stumble on his way towards the car. A chuckle left his lips when the latter smiled sheepishly at him.
"I'm fine!"
Singto shook his head, watching his adorable nong hopping as they reached the younger's car that was parked at the corner of the basement. The sound of the car unlocking was heard before both of them settled inside.
The elder hesitated for a second, his mind kept bugging him, he wanted to tell the younger what he felt but he was afraid he would sound clingy. So he bottled it up, sighing he got into the passenger seat. Krist already settled on the driver's seat, whistling a tune as he slowly started the car's engine. Raising it for the next few seconds, heating the car, while he let Singto settle down beside him, fastening the seatbelt.
"Ready?" Krist turned to the elder, smiling wide with his dimples.
"Hmm."
The younger's eyebrows furrowed, Singto seemed uninterested or rather as if he was contemplating something. The latter's fingers fidgeted on his lap while Singto stared out of the window. He could read that Singto had something on his mind.
"Are you ok, Tuan?" The younger reached out to hold the elder's hand.
Singto blinked, he turned towards his lover. Immediately masking his expression with a smile. Sometimes he forgot that Krist knew him too well and could read through him.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Let's go, I'm sleepy." Singto's hand reached out to lay on the other's lap. He patted the younger, smiling softly.
Krist was sceptical but he shrugged his shoulders. His hands trembled slightly as he clutched onto the steering, and just like always, when he had Singto beside him on the car, the elder squeezed his thigh, encouraging him silently.
Singto's caresses on him didn't halt until Krist was comfortably driving into the highway, careful and gentle.
The younger relaxed into the seat, his hyper activeness before driving has been his way of encouraging himself before getting into the car ever since the accident. But it seems weird that when Singto is beside him it surprisingly seems much easier than when he's alone or with anyone else. It gave him a sense of security and assurance. The way Singto silently gave him encouragement always touched his heart. The elder doesn't speak much about it, but his actions were enough to turn him into a puddle.
"When are you going to drive me home, Singtuan?" Krist leaned forward to turn the radio on, his fingers tapped on the steering as music filled the car.
"Soon, maybe," Singto replied, rolling his eyes, making Krist chuckle. "I prefer you driving me home."
Krist took a quick glance at the elder, "Yeah, I can see that."
The atmosphere in the car soon turned silent, unusually quiet and the younger thought of it as Singto being sleepy. It's past 9 pm already, and they had a busy day.
"You can sleep if you want to, P'Sing. I'll call you once we reach." Krist noticed the other nod his head from his peripheral vision. But Singto was clearly not intending to sleep.
A sigh left Singto's lips as they stopped at the red light. The soft sound didn't escape Krist's ears. When the younger finally mustered to ask the latter what was bothering him Singto's voice intervened in his thoughts.
"Hmm-Krist?"
The younger turned his face, smiling softly as he hummed in reply.
"Can we-Can we go to your condo?"
Krist frowned, that was unexpected. But he couldn't help the butterflies he felt seeing Singto fidget in his seat, dark orbs staring at him. If others look at him, Singto would seem like any other person who is asking someone about something but Krist could see the nervousness hiding behind those beautiful eyes.
"Of course, Tuan! Why didn't you say that earlier?" He reached out to intertwine their fingers, clutching their hands on the elder's lap.
"Nothing."
"Really?"
"Fine," Singto rolled his eyes. A pout formed on his lips and the younger wished he could kiss them away. "I didn't want to seem clingy, ok? We have been spending time with eachother most of the nights so..."
His voice trailed off and Krist couldn't resist the urge to coo at his adorable lover. His Singtuan had the most unexpected times to overthink.
"Oh, Tuan! You know that I won't have it any other way!" If it was possible he would have stolen a kiss from the elder but he doesn't want anyone else-if that's possible- to see them kissing in the car.
"Besides! Do you find me annoying when I'm clingy?" Singto immediately shook his head at the question making the younger giggle. "I thought so!"
Krist doesn't know what's wrong with him but ever since seeing the elder after his ordination, Singto looked extra adorable and sexy with his bald hairstyle. It brought out his chubby cheeks and smile more prominent.
Singto licked his lips, trying to stop himself from smiling, seeing the grin on the younger's face. He was just concerned that him staying over at the younger's place most of the time might bother the latter. After all, they stayed up late at Krist's condo yesterday night before the younger dropped him off at his place by 2 in the morning since he had a schedule later on.
"My condo it is!" The excitement in Krist's voice as he started driving the car made Singto shake his head, smiling. The younger never fails to toss up his mood.
"Just tell me you miss your princess already."
"That I do," Singto chuckled, playing along with the younger when he pouted.
They fell into a peal of laughter next, they didn't need something huge to laugh or smile. Moments like this, them alone, in each other's presence was enough to bring a smile on their faces.
Singto leaned comfortably onto the window, his face turned towards the younger. Seeing Krist drive was always a visual treat for him. And he would stare at the figure as long as possible. He's glad that Krist was slowly coming in terms with his driving once again, he feared the other might start distancing himself from driving after the incident.
But Krist was strong enough to correct his mistakes and try again, he wasn't the one to back off because of what happened. He loved driving and even though the fear might stay in him, the younger will surely overcome it.
A chuckle escaped Singto when he noticed Krist's ears turn red. He knew the other could see him staring at him and he loved how Krist flushed under his gaze.
"What are you doing?" Singto's eyebrows raised, his eyes trailing over his lover who walked into the living room with his guitar. Freshly out of the shower, wearing black shorts and a baggy yellow t-shirt.
It's been past an hour since they got inside Krist's condo. Singto had proceeded to take a shower after greeting their cats, especially his princess, claiming he had to wash out his tiredness. When he was done and walked back into the living room Krist had immediately jumped up from the sofa, where he was playing with Pluto, and walked past him, after stealing a quick kiss.
The younger had a look on his face that told 'I know what to do', Singto didn't expect the other to walk back to him almost half an hour later with a guitar in his hand.
"Spending time with my faen."
A smile bloomed on the elder's lips, he let Muffin slip out of his arms as he watched Krist settle in front of him, on the coffee table.
The younger suited himself on the table, clearing his throat he settled his guitar on his lap. Caressing the metal strings with his fingers. Eyes stealing glances at the elder who watched his movements, each glide of his fingers on the wooden instrument in his hand, with admiration and love dancing in those pair of dark eyes.
Singto involuntarily closed his eyes as the first music from the guitar strummed by Krist's fingers was heard . His smile widened when the soft music reached his ears.
"How many hours we spend, how many days we spend together will never be enough, P'Sing. Even a lifetime seems soo short." Krist stared into the relaxing figure in front of him, clad in his usual black tank top and shorts. He smiled wider when the elder's eyes fluttered open, dazedly looking back at him.
"So, don't hesitate to reach me. Don't hesitate to spend time with me. Even if we were together every single second, I will yearn for more. Always, till the 'forever' ends."
Singto's lips trembled stretched into a smile, nodding his head softly he clutched onto the cushion on his lap. Was it possible to fall in love with someone all over again, a millionth time? If so that's exactly what Singto feels like about his lover who was in front of him, strumming the guitar, smiling wide at him as if he's his whole world.
"Today, I'm going to sing for you." Krist crossed his leg, glancing at his guitar he changed the chords.
He wanted Singto to feel him, feel all that he wants to say. The song that was in his mind was close to what he wanted to express. He wants the elder to feel, that he'll never get tired of this. Whatever the circumstances, fights and laughers take place between them too, like how beautiful roses have thorns with them. It just makes the flower exclusive, cherished, with the presence of the thorns.
The music slowed down, as if into a mere whisper before the chords hit stronger, getting in tune.
A shiver ran down the elder, a piece of familiar music played through the guitar. And his lover had his eyes closed as he strummed his fingers on the strings.
We could leave the Christmas lights up '
til January
And this is our place, we make the rules
And there's a dazzling haze,
a mysterious way about you dear
Have I known you ten seconds or ten years?
A chuckle left the elder's lips when Krist changed the lyrics. The smirk on the younger gave it away, and Singto felt the butterflies crawl under his skin.
Can I go where you go?
Can we always be this close forever and ever?
And ah, take me out, and take me home
You're my, my, my, my
Lover
Singto gulped the lump in his throat, staring at the man who squeezed his eyes shut as he reached the keys brilliantly. Each word of the lyric seemed as if Krist was talking to him, to his soul.
This wasn't the first time he had heard Krist sing in the confines of their privacy. He had done lots of practices with the younger, even sang together playfully while Krist played the guitar. It happens soo randomly unless they had to practice for an event.
But today, hearing Krist sing for him. Inside their closed space, a place they consider their haven, just them. As the younger stares right into him, as if he could see through him, body and soul, it was overwhelming. It was a kind of assurance. For everything.
We could let our friends crash
in the living room
This is our place, we make the call
And I'm highly suspicious that everyone who sees you wants you
I've loved you three summers now, honey,
but I want 'em all
Krist smiled, humming as he played the chords. Staring at the elder male who gazed back at him in fascination. His sparkling eyes were irresistibly charming, glowing bright like the stars. The familiar warmth, tenderness and love were all over those honey features.
He knew the elder wants time to himself, with him. The busy schedules have tired Singto out, making room for more insecurities. And Krist knew how it gets, to the peak where the stress puts you in a point of doubting the worth one should have for everything around them. And Krist was here to reassure Singto, just like when the other pampers him, be with him when he's having his meltdown.
The younger felt happiness bubble in him at the point, being with Singto made him feel home. Always. His safe haven.
Can I go where you go?
Can we always be this close forever and ever?
And ah, take me out, and take me home forever and ever
You're my, my, my, my
Lover
Ladies and gentlemen,
will you please stand?
Singto giggled when Krist pulled him up, hand in hand, the guitar hung over Krist's shoulder through the strap. The younger's chocolate eyes tenderly gazed over him, smiling softly as he pulled Singto forward. Taking a few steps forward, swaying, reaching up to caress his cheeks.
With every guitar string scar on my hand
I take this magnetic force of a man
to be my lover
My heart's been borrowed
and yours has been blue
All's well that ends well to end up with you
Swear to be overdramatic and
true to my lover
A surprised gasp left Singto's lips as he was turned around, his back plastered on Krist's chest, arms around the elder. The next second Singto found himself holding the guitar. With Krist's fingers strumming over the strings, continuing to play. The younger's breath fanning the side of his neck, tickling him. Leaving hot trails over him.
And you'll save all your dirtiest jokes for me
And at every table, I'll save you a seat, lover
Can I go where you go?
Can we always be this close forever and ever?
Singto leaned his head on Krist's shoulder, eyes closed, the never-ending smile on his lips. Moments like this he loved their heights, they complemented eachother. With a smile on his face, he let Krist guide him, swaying as the melodious music of the instrument resonated the space, Krist's voice blending in like beautiful waves. Their body heat mingled within them. The purring of their cats in the background made everything even more homely.
The euphonious voice of the younger played close to his ear, giving him the pleasure of being close to Krist, hear his soothing voice. Even the younger's velvety whispers were music to his ear.
And ah, take me out, and take me home forever and ever
You're my, my, my, my
Oh, you're my, my, my, my
Darling, you're my, my, my, my
Lover
Krist hummed in tune, nuzzling his face into the elder's neck. Softly caressing the side of his face, the small hairs at the side of the other male's head rubbed over his skin. It has turned to be a habit of him now, to feel the other's growing hair on him. He liked it.
A soft kiss was soon placed on Singto's neck, right above his mole, a content sigh escaping from the other's lips. The elder's fingers were guided to the instrument in front of them. A surprised gasp left the honey skinned man as his fingers glided over the warm metal strings, along with the milky ones of the younger.
"Can we be this close forever and ever?Tuan?"
Singto opened his eyes, staring at the ceiling as he let Krist stroke his fingers on the strings. Letting the soft sounds from the instrument fill the silence. He turned his gaze to the younger, finding the latter staring back at him, eyes whelmed up.
"Forever and ever." Singto leaned over, gently capturing the younger's rosy lips.
Krist wrapped his arms around the elder, turning him to face him. Deepening the kiss as Singto rested his arms on his shoulders, fingers threading into the luscious chocolate locks.
A soft smile broke into the younger's lips, letting the elder nibble on him. His eyes half open, wanting to watch his lover. The tenderness and wash of calmness that took over them at the contact, lips dancing.
They rested their foreheads together, breathing evenly. Singto's fingers slide forward to rest on either side of Krist's neck. Tracing the lines of the veins with his finger, sending electric tremours down the other.
"Always and forever." Singto smiled, staring back at the younger. Krist's hold over his waist tightened. A chuckle escaped them when one of their cats meowed around them.
"Always."
