Arthit Rojnapath was a mystery to him from the very beginning he had set eyes on that man. Kongpob felt as if the head hazer had a hold on him, even though they barely knew eachother back then. When their gaze meets there is always this shiver that runs down him, not because of fear like everyone else in their freshmen batch, but something more, something different.
Arthit Rojnapath, from the beginning, had a mysterious hold on him. Kongpob could feel his whole face burn up when those hazel eyes bore into his, butterflies flying from the pit of his stomach. Arthit was surely the man of everyone's dreams.
And that's the reason he's called the heartthrob of the campus. Everyone feared the strict, hot-headed head hazer but there was almost none who couldn't help but have a crush on that man. And maybe, Kongpob wasn't an exception. The only difference was that he didn't show it off like others.
There were only three categories of people on their campus when it comes to the hot head hazer. One those who fear the man and those who have a crush on him. Another category being a mix of both, they both feared him and were head over heels for that man.
Kongpob was never the one who feared the head hazer from the beginning. He can even prove that because he even stood up against the 'Arthit Rojnapath' during their very first hazing meeting. Questioning the other how they could complete taking 1000 signatures just within a week when the other ordered for the same. That incident caused a ruckus around the campus.
It happened two more times, him standing against the head hazer, getting him the name of being a feisty freshman, but he stopped later on. Because he found himself gulping down and shivering when their eyes meet. The tremors that travelled under his skin made him blush. And he knew, Arthit noticed. The smirk on the other's lips when their eyes meets in the corridors of the campus made his heart beat faster.
The latter's binding dimpled smile, chiselled face, sharp jaw and bright skin. Deep hazel orbs and lush dark brown hair. Arthit was charismatic. He was the rich, smart, handsomely hot heartthrob of the campus but at the same time a big heartbreaker.
Kongpob had heard his friends say that the head hazer only plays around with hearts and never wanted to be in a serious relationship. That the man is dangerous. Hearing all of it Kongpob wanted to hate that man and he acted that way, but deep down it wasn't the case. He thought that maybe Arthit wasn't what everyone portrays him to be.
And it's not like the head hazer would put any interest in him, a feisty freshman who talked back towards him and pissed him off, the one who is labelled a 'nerd' by his classmates.
Kongpob groaned as he stood up from the desk, the knocking on his door made him distracted from reading his book. Expecting to see one of his friends behind the door (it was past 9 in the night, he can't expect anyone else other than his friends at this hour of the night) his eyes widened at the sight of the man behind the door.
"P'Arthit, I thought you were bu-Hmmph."
Kongpob's eyes shut close as the pair of soft lips smashed into his, making him stumble back, but the strong arms of the elder male caught him around his waist.
The head hazer shut the door behind them after pushing themselves into Kongpob's form room. The younger found himself clutching onto the elder's maroon hazer coat, trying to keep up with the intensity of the kiss.
"Who's Jack?"
"Huh?" Still dazed by the kiss, Kongpob couldn't comprehend what the other asked just after breaking the kiss. He was still indulged in the taste of Arthit's lips on his.
"I asked who's Jack?" Arthit asked breathlessly, eyes hooded.
Kongpob blinked, "Jack? Who's Jack?"
Arthit gritted his teeth, jaw clenched, "The one who gave you flowers today."
"Oh," Kongpob's eyes widened when he realised who Arthit was talking about. He didn't know that this would reach the elder's ears. But then again, he's the head hazer.
"He-he was a fourth-year senior. But I didn't accept his flowers, P'Arthit."
Arthit blinked, his lips parted in surprise.
"You didn't?"
"No, I didn't," Kongpob raised an eyebrow. "You thought I would?"
"I-No!" Arthit sighed before he mumbled, "Bright didn't tell me that you rejected it."
Kongpob chuckled, looking up at the elder's face relaxing as the realisation dawned on him. But the smile on his face fell when he noticed a smirk forming on the other's lips, hazel eyes filled with mischief as it looked back into his.
"Well, since that is solved, where did we stop?"
With a yelp, Kongpob clutched onto Arthit's shoulder as he was carried by the elder man. Bouncing onto the mattress as he was laid down. A devilishly smirking head hazer on top of him.
Arthit kissed his nose, traced the line of his cheek with his fingertip, a dreamlike intensity in his gaze.
Kongpob closed his eyes, an overwhelming ground building inside him. Never did he ever imagine that he will be subject to such an emotion of Arthit. That he will be able to bring out such love and intensity in Arthit.
Well, he never believed that Arthit will have eyes on him at first. But look at them now, being in a relationship for more than a month. Arthit's longest relationship ever to exist. Kongpob couldn't believe it but it was happening right in front of him.
Kongpob moaned, going limp, and his frame continues to quiver.
The storm broke between them, crackling through their bodies like summer lightning, and Kongpob was flung to the stars, hoarsely screaming the elder's name.
Kongpob knotted his fists in Arthit's shirt and pulled him closer. Arthit groaned softly, low in his throat, and then his arms circled the other, gathering him against him as hands travelled over the soft, feather-like expanse of the other's skin.
To Kongpob all that existed was Arthit. He could feel his warmth burning through his clothes. He ran his fingers along his arm-soft skin over lean muscle. Reaching up to cup the elder's cheeks, his hand graced over the small scar on his right cheek. One of the beautiful features of Arthit that Kongpob love.
His body was on the verge of explosion, he was screaming Arthit's name, the pleasuring thrusts making him see stars. Both sweating under the passionate movements of their bodies.
Bodies naked, clothes thrown away, Arthit kissed all over the exposed honey skin, setting new marks and sets of hickeys. Marking the other as his.
"Ah-Ah," Kongpob's eyes rolled back as Arthit thrust into him, hitting his bundle of nerves.
Kongpob never believed that the man who was claimed to be a playboy, heartbreaker, who only stayed in a relationship for mere weeks would woo him, the feisty freshman who talked back to him. He didn't trust all that was happening, even his friends who noticed the head hazer's presence most of the time around their group warned him. Just to be careful.
Kongpob has heard a lot of rumours but somehow in the end Arthit had the power in him to swipe him off the floor. Making him fall head over heels for that man.
"Baby," Arthit breathed down Kongpob's neck, rocking into the sweet hole. With the younger being a moaning mess under him.
Kongpob clutched onto Arthit's shoulder, his nails digging into the precise muscles. Arching back, his body jerking with each thrust.
It all started that one evening when he was doing his punishment at the college ground, running 57 laps, as assigned by the head hazer himself. That was also when Arthit first made him feel like a ball of blushing mess under his gaze.
Arthit had stopped him in the middle of his 7th lap and made him sit on a bench, away from the prying eyes of anyone. He then told him to stop being so reckless. That day he saw another face of Arthit Rojnapath. Something different.
Arthit's eyes had turned soft, his voice way different from what he had heard till then. It was tender and soft. Kongpob felt like melting that day. His face was flushed red, both from being in close proximity with the head hazer, making his heart beat faster and from the running he did.
"We're doing this for a reason, 0062. You helping your friends won't do anything good to them, they have to stand on their own."
Arthit had all but gently spoken to him, he was even smiling and Kongpob couldn't take his eyes off the senior. That day he realised that Arthit was more than what he shows.
"Well, the challenge you pulled off is still on though. I don't back down 0062 Kongpob."
That was also the day that he knew if needed Arthit can be mischievous. Persistent and headstrong.
Kongpob had blushed darker at the other's words making the head hazer smirk. Kongpob stayed rooted in his seat, snapping his gaze away from the tall man who stood up. He couldn't look at Arthit anymore. He was afraid if he would combust with how his body and heart were reacting to the elder male.
"You're adorable."
Arthit had ruffled his hair, chuckling before walking away like he didn't do anything to Kongpob.
Days after he started to notice the secret glances that he received, subtle smiles and encounters. He even started to get flowers from the elder who would hide them inside his locker.
"Please...ahh..." Kongpob screamed as he felt the waves closing into his system. He was about to shatter any time soon.
The elder had all but leaned over to capture his lips, soothing his insides. The pleasure drive was making him go limp as Arthit continued to rock into him, slapping their bodies together in a rhythm.
"Hold on tight, baby," Arthit moaned, his eyes rolling back in pleasure.
Arthit was close, Kongpob could feel it in his impatience. He was too, ready to break apart and he knew Arthit was ready to catch him. Kongpob clawed onto Arthit's bare back, breathing heavily. He could hear Arthit's low grunts and moans in his ears.
Waves of pleasure crashed down on them soon, making the two males moan and grunt louder. Thrills rippling inside them. With long tremors, they gave themselves up to eachother. The little cries the younger uttered ended up like music to Arthit's ears.
The younger closed his eyes tight, breathing heavily, as they finally settled in, slumped on eachother, taking in the feeling of Arthit inside of him before the other would pull away. When he opened his eyes he found Arthit looking back, smiling down at him. Still breathless. And Kongpob couldn't help but smile back.
Gathering their shattered thoughts and dazed minds of extreme pleasure they cocooned in each other's embrace. Holding eachother closer as they laid down in bed. Kongpob was tightly hidden in Arthit's chest while the elder laid with a soft smile on his face, his fingers tracing Kongpob's bare back.
"You were jealous of Jack?"
Kongpob's sudden question made Arthit pout and the younger looked up just in time to see it making him chuckle.
"Well, I have this adorable being as my boyfriend. Of course, I will be when others approach what is mine," Arthit said as a matter of fact making Kongpob blush, that answer was unexpected.
"But P'Arthit kharp," Kongpob gulped. "I only have eyes for you."
Arthit smirked, turning to his side he faced his lover who looked back with innocent doe eyes."Really?"
Kongpob cutely nodded his head and Arthit just wanted to pinch those cheeks.
"Why should I look at others when I have such a wonderful man as my boyfriend? Sure you're hot-tempered, a bit of a control freak and stubborn, but that's what makes you...you and I love each part of that."
Kongpob smiled wide, reaching up to place his palm on Arthit's cheek."I love the whole of you, P'Arthit kharp."
"Baby," Arthit took a deep breath, trying to calm the tingles that ran down him. The way Kongpob was looking at him with soo much love and adoration which was soo pure, it beautifully turned his insides.
"How did I get so lucky?"
Kongpob giggled as Arthit captured his lips. A kiss of innocence and warmth, just a sign of love they shared.
"So, Arthit, we didn't hear anything about your breakup with Kongpob. Why so?"
The whole table stilled as Bright casually asked the head hazer while having his mouth full of food.
Tootah wanted to bang his head on the table and thank his friend at the same time. He shared looks with Knott and Prem and he was pleased to see that he wasn't the only one thinking that.
"I thought our bet ended the moment you and Kongpob kissed," taking another mouth full of rice Bright continued, ignoring the blank, dark stare he was receiving from the head hazer himself.
"I'm just waiting for the right time," Arthit replied with clenched jaws, his voice deeper and of course, his friends could see that Arthit was very much pissed.
Bright choked on his food, Tootah rolled his eyes before giving the man the bottle of water. Knott tried to sniffle his chuckle while Prem just shook his head.
Bright gasped animatedly after drinking the water, staring back at his friend who had his eyes fixed on his lunch, "You have been saying that for a month, man! Your dating period record is going up! 1 month with the feisty freshman!"
"Bright," Knott raised an eyebrow, trying to give the latter a warning. Because the three of them could see the fire starting to light up in Arthit.
"What? I'm just saying. I thought our Arthit only dates chicks for a maximum of two weeks or something. I thought our sweet Kongpob will have his heart broken by the first we-"
"Don't.Compare.Kong.With.Them," Arthit's voice stressed in each syllable, his voice a note down. Surprising his friends, even Prem's jaw dropped as he shared glances with his friends.
And finally Bright got the picture as he gulped. He wanted to talk more but Tootah leaned in and whispered to him.
"If you wanna live, keep shut."
Arthit was staring right at Bright, and the other felt like he was staring deep into his soul. Bright felt his throat go dry and knees go weak even though he was sitting. He gave a sheepish smile at Arthit even though the head hazer's eyes got only scarier. If looks could kill, he would have been 6 feet under by now.
Knott sighed, shaking his head at what he was witnessing. He knew it wasn't a good idea to rile Arthit up a month ago, resulting in a situation like this but he's glad that he turned out into something good for his friend. Just because of Bright's challenge that day he could see that the result did make Arthit a different person even though he knows the latter is not ready to accept it in front of them.
It all started after Arthit punished Kongpob for talking back to him and claiming to make him his 'wife' to get the gear badge of the engineering students. Kongpob was a complete brat, to say the least, riling Arthit up with his answers. And the incident had spread like wildfire around the campus. After that incident, Kongpob never opened his mouth to talk back against the hazers.
And Bright took the opportunity to tease Arthit a few weeks after that fateful incident.
"Did you go tame your Husband, Arthit?"
"What the fuck, Ai'Bright!?" Arthit glared at his friend, snapping his gaze from the book in his hand. He looked around the library to see if anyone heard them but he was thankful no one did.
"Well, N'Kongpob has been silent for days, as if he is tamed or something."
Arthit raised an eyebrow, "I'm not his fucking wife."
"I didn't say you're," Bright shrugged his shoulders. "It's not my fault that you have his words engraved into your head."
"Bright," Arthit closed his eyes, jaw clenched at the other.
His friends could only watch the exchange in silence, even Tootah who usually joins to tease Arthit didn't make a move. The three knew that Bright was up to something and they didn't even want to figure out the outcome of it.
"Come on, Arthit! You have been too quiet after that junior claimed to make you his wife. Shouldn't you like, payback or show him his place or something?"
"Bright-"
"What do you mean?"
"You're the heartthrob/heartbreaker of our campus," Bright raised his two hands, quoting his words. "You challenged Kongpob, remember? I'm suggesting, you should make Kongpob your boyfriend, show him that you won't back down."
Arthit blinked. He did challenge Kongpob back when he said he would make him his wife. In his temper, he shouted back at the junior telling him that they would see who would make whom their wife later.
"Come on, don't back down from your challenge now, Arthit. You're our head hazer."
"No," Arthit rejected immediately, turning his attention back to his books.
Bright gasped dramatically," Oh my! Arthit Rojnapath backing out of a challenge!? I thought you were headstrong and never backs off, Arthit! You make thousands of women and men fall for you and spend the night with you but here you are afraid to make a move on our junior? Wow, this is a surprise."
Arthit knew that Bright was riling him up but his rational side was shut off after hearing all that Bright said so he shut his book in front of him, glaring straight into his friend's eyes as he whispered through his clenched jaws.
"You'll see, Bright. Kongpob Suttilak is no big deal for me."
"Ok then, it's a bet. Agreed?" Bright stretched his hand forward with his cheeky smile on his lips. He yelped next when Arthit slapped his hand.
"You five! Get out of here, right now!"
The librarian's shout jolted everyone present in the library. Arthit silently stood up, packing his things while Bright received snacks and grumblings from their other three friends.
The four watched as Arthit stormed away from the library, with a sigh the rest of them walked out.
"What did you do there, idiot?! Do you want that poor junior to suffer too!?" Tootah shouted at Bright after they were out of the library, Arthit long gone from their sight.
Bright smirked, "Nah, just wait and see."
Knott narrowed his gaze, "Bright, this is not funny."
"Seriously guys, trust me will ya?" Bright touched his chest in sympathy.
The three shook their heads, "Nope, not one bit."
Bright rolled his eyes as he stopped in his tracks, taking a deep breath and making sure no one was around he whispered to his friends.
"Listen, I saw Arthit talking to Kongpob that day 0062 was punished. Remember he was asked to run 54 laps as a punishment? Arthit kept on glancing at 0062 while he was taking the punishment. I don't know but there is something different that I saw in those two."
The three looked weirdly at Bright, nothing makes sense to them. All that they could see was that Arthit reached his highest temper each time Kongpob talked back to him.
"Arthit went to 0062 and asked him to stop his laps after he was done with 7. He even helped him sit on the bench under a tree!" Bright had a satisfied smile on his face when he saw his friends gasp at the news. "I saw him talking to N'Kongpob and our junior looked soo shy! Arthit even ruffled his hair before they parted ways!"
There was a moment of silence among them before Tootah finally opened his mouth.
"How are you soo observant?"
"I'm Bright the brightest!" Bright patted his own shoulder."Besides I stayed back to spy on them."
"Ar-" Just as Tootah was about to talk it out with Arthit - try to talk it out from killing Bright-he noticed his friend's gaze shift from Bright, the fire in his eyes slowly dimmed down.
Tootah blinked, he looked at Knott who was sitting opposite to him who signalled him to turn around. And that Tootah did, a smile immediately forming on his lips.
He looked back at his friend, hiding his smile as he bit the inside of his cheek. He watched Arthit calm down, his eyes soften, a small smile forming on his lips.
Tootah turned back once again, looking at the group of freshmen two tables away from them, settling down with their lunch. His eyes fixed on that one particular junior who always stood out. He literally wanted to squeal seeing how the younger male blushed as he gave his blinding smile at Arthit's way, talking through his eyes. No words were exchanged just eyes speaking to eyes.
Taking a deep breath he sat back straight, eyeing the head hazer through the corner of his eyes. The way Arthit relaxed into the seat, taking bites of his lunch, but eyes fixed on someone two tables away from them. He even caught Arthit smirking in that direction and he doesn't even want to see to know that the junior might be blushing mauve.
No one uttered a word, even Bright had the sensibility to keep his mouth shut. They just watched their best friend being a completely different person just with the presence of one junior.
It was evening and the hazer gang was trying to find his missing friend who had disappeared suddenly. Their classes for the day were over and there was no hazing, Arthit had suddenly excused himself and walked away after their class. And Tootah was suspicious.
"Do you think they're really dating?"
Tootah heard the whispering of other students not too far away from where they stood. He glanced at his three friends and signalled them to keep quiet, especially giving Bright a warning glare.
"Dating?Who?"
"Aish! Kongpob and our head hazer."
"Oh, them! I think they might be, rumors have been going around for a month already. They have been seen together at times and have you seen the way P'Arthit looks at Kongpob!? It's as if they have never been rivals!"
The two girls squealed. Tootah and Prem glanced at eachother and tried to muffle their laughter.
"But, girl! I heard that P'Arthit is a playboy, the heartthrob of the campus- which I understand, of course, just look at him!- And a heartbreaker also, his longest relationship only lasted for mere weeks. Knowing that I've my doubts whether P'Arthit and Kongpob are really in a relationship, that too for the past month already."
Knott glanced at his friends worriedly, he sighed before signalling them to walk ahead. They heard enough.
They just walked without starting a conversation. The four of them knew their friend. Yes, Arthit was a playboy but he was also one of the kindest people they have met, always there for everyone in need. The only trait that pissed them off sometimes was Arthit's 'short-term' relationships.
"Look over there!" Bright almost shouted but shushed himself as he stopped in his tracks. His voice startled the other three males.
"What the hell, Bright!?" Prem glared at his friend who sheepishly smiled back at him and pointed to the distance.
Their eyes widened when their eyes landed on the two figures sitting on the bench on the campus ground. A smile soon stretched on their lips watching the scene ahead of them.
Their head hazer was sitting on the bench, with the freshman beside him. Arthit's maroon jersey coat was already removed, his attention on the junior beside him who was doing his doing his homework, books on the wooden table. They even have earphones in their ears. One earphone, shared by the two. And Tootah wanted to squeal just by noticing all the details.
"Wow, I didn't know Arthit could look soo much in love," Tootah touched his chest, a content sigh leaving his lips.
Arthit had his head prompt on his hand, an elbow resting on the table. His full body turned towards Kongpob who was too busy doing his homework to see the soft, tender smile playing on the elder's face.
"So this is where he ran to," Prem smirked, crossing his arms against his chest.
"He kept telling us it was just a bet all along, be in a relationship with 0062 and then break up," Bright laughed as he recalled everything. The others just shook their heads, smiling.
"Oh god! Look!" Tootah squealed as he watched the couple in front of them.
Kongpob had dropped something on the ground, making him bend down to search for it. And Arthit followed the younger's movements, moving along with him. So that the earphones in their ears wouldn't fall off.
Just as Kongpob found his lost object he raised his head only to find Arthit 's smiling face an inch away from his face. The younger blinked, his eyes then landed on the earphone in Arthit's ear, the realisation made him smile wide and giggle.
Arthit leaned in and pressed a kiss on Kongpob's lips who blushed, smiling shyly he looked away. Making the head hazer smile wide at the adorable sight.
Tootah and Bright were having their time of the day as they squealed about the couple. Blaming their friend for not breaking off the bet they made and officially being a couple with the junior.
Prem and Knott just chuckled, shaking their heads. Completely unaware of what was about to happen.
Kongpob sighed, covering his face as he leaned on his chair. It was a Sunday evening and he was doing his classwork. Despite being smart and having the capacity to finish his work within minutes he had been stuck for an hour or more. He just couldn't concentrate.
Tears streamed down his eyes, he was soon sobbing into his hands. Shoulders shaking, the image of the head hazer in his head. How much ever he had tried, he just couldn't get the elder out of his head. Those dimpled smiles, deep hazel eyes that would make him feel weak in his knees, the touches of those soft fingers, the taste of those rosy lips. It was engraved in him and he just couldn't let go even though his brain told him that he should forget.
But his heart wasn't listening. Telling him that Arthit would never do something like that to him. And maybe everything was just a dream. Kongpob couldn't decide. He needed time and that he took from distancing himself from his source of anchor. The man who started to mean the world to him in just a span of a month.
He distanced himself from Arthit and even stopped going out onto his balcony after he had found the elder desperately trying to see him from the opposite building. Their rooms were opposite to eachother, in the past it was a thrill for him to watch the elder from his balcony but now he needed time. He wants to clear his head.
Kongpob sniffled, rubbing his teary eyes. Sobbing again just as he thought he was done crying. He just couldn't believe that Arthit would do this all for a bet, a challenge. And the latter didn't even deny it when he questioned the elder.
"You're lying," Kongpob immediately shook his head, his eyes wide in horror. He clutched tight to the strap of his bag on his shoulder.
Aim rolled his eyes, "I'm not, Kong! Even Tew heard it!"
Kongpob turned to face Tew, pleading with his eyes, conveying his need for Tew to say all of this was not true and they were just pranking him.
"I'm sorry, Kong but it's true. I heard P'Bright too. It was just a bet, make you fall in love with him and then break up."
Kongpob took a sharp intake of breath, his heart beating fast, his chest feeling as if it was being squeezed painfully. It felt hard to breathe.
"Y-You're lying."
Aim glared at Kongpob, "It's the truth, Kong! We heard it with our own ears! We indeed doubted P'Arthit at first, you know the rumours Kong! We were worried about you! But after seeing that you were happy with him and he was taking care of you we tried to come in terms with it but guess we were wrong! All of this was his act!"
A stabbing pain washed over Kongpob. His eyes were blurry with tears that whelmed up. He was just waiting for his friends to come back from the library in the corridor when the two came up to him with worried and tensed looks. He immediately sensed it and asked what happened. He didn't expect them to say that Arthit was playing with him, that he was just a game.
Now he wished he never asked them what was wrong.
"P'Arthit is coming," Tew whispered when he noticed the head hazer walking towards them, his eyes falling on Kongpob who looked broken.
"Kong, you should go," Aim whispered to his friend who didn't budge.
"Hey, baby."
Kongpob closed his eyes, hearing the honey voice beside him. Tears streamed down his cheeks.
"Baby, what's wrong?" Arthit immediately noticed the younger tears. He reached out to wipe them but Kongpob stepped back, making the elder confused. He glanced at Kongpob's friends who didn't even meet his gaze.
"Kong, baby wh-"
"Am I just a game for you, P'Arthit?"
Arthit's eyes widened, gasping at the younger, "What are talking about? Of course, you're not!"
Kongpob bit his inner cheek, stopping himself from the urge to hide in the arms of the man in front of him.
"I-Is it t-true that you started to court me just because of a bet that you needed to win? Was that it?
Arthit's face turned pale, his eyes blank as he stared at his boyfriend. His mind was void, he didn't know what to say. His voice seemed to not come out of his mouth.
Kongpob sobbed, his face messy with tears, "How could you, P'Arthit?! I-I trusted you!"
The younger didn't want to stay there. He thought Arthit would immediately disagree with what he said and would tell him that this wasn't the truth but the head hazer's silence had answered it for him.
Kongpob walked past Arthit, clutching tight to the strap of his bag, not even minding wiping his tears away. He had blindly trusted Arthit. Everything felt too real, he felt that each word Arthit uttered to him was from his heart and that the latter's eyes always held soo much love and passion for him. Was that all a delusion of his?
"Kong! No, wait!"
Arthit reached out to stop Kongpob from walking away, grabbing the other's hand. Seeing the distress of his lover, watching him being consumed by hurt, it finally broke Arthit's stupor. He can't let Kongpob walk away from him, from his life.
Kongpob closed his eyes, gulping down the lumps that formed in his throat.
"I-I need some time," the younger pulled his hand away from Arthit. "Please, P'Arthit."
And he walked away. Leaving Arthit behind.
He knows that he should have stayed to listen to Arthit but at that very moment, all that he wanted was to be alone. Collect his shattered thoughts and brave himself for the explanation Arthit had.
What if Arthit says that what he heard was true? What if everything was just an act? What if Arthit leave him? What if-
"No," Kongpob gripped his hair. He doesn't even want to think of the possibility of the elder leaving him. Maybe that will be what is there for his future if all this was true, the whole story of the game was true.
Why does it hurt soo much just by the thought of his future not having the man who meant the world to him?
Kongpob blinked, turning his head towards the door, hearing the knock on them. He took a deep breath, wiping his face and making sure he didn't look messy.
Standing up he walked up to the door, halting for a second from opening it. The possibility of the person behind the door being Arthit wasn't slight. It wasn't the first time in the three days that Arthit hadn't come to talk with him. He knows he is being unreasonable but he just needed some...time.
"Kong, it's me. Open the door."
A sigh of relief left him when he heard Aim's voice from the other side. Making sure his breathing was even and he felt ok he opened the door, coming face to face with his friend who looked kind of off.
"Why are yo-"
Kongpob's eyes widened, staring at the man who stepped in front of Aim from the side. He wanted to shut the door close and hide inside the covers but guess Arthit knew him too well. The elder had reached up to him, catching his hands in his warm ones.
"Baby, please," Arthit's hazel eyes softened as they met his, pleading with his eyes. Tender gazes fell on him. Kongpob felt like his insides were melting and his knees weaken.
"Just, let me explain," Arthit cupped his cheek with one hand and Kongpob involuntarily closed his eyes, leaning into the touch. Tears welled from deep inside and coursed down his cheeks, feeling the missing warmth come back to him.
"It's been days, Kong and I can't wait anymore knowing you are hurting yourself inside. I know I hurt you but just listen to me. I truly love you, Kong. I never faked my love for you."
Kongpob fluttered his teary eyes open, constantly sniffing like he was resisting the tears. He glanced at Aim who was staring at them worried. What surprised him next was to see Aim smiling back at him softly before nodding his head.
"Please, baby?" Arthit dabbed Kongpob's cheek with his thumb, his voice filled with despair and hurt.
Taking a long deep breath he nodded his head, not trusting his voice at the moment. He watched as relief washed over the pale, tired face of the elder.
"I'll get going," Aim excused himself, turning to face his friend he stepped forward to pat his shoulder.
"You should listen to P'Arthit, Kong. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding I had caused. Talk it out you both."
Kongpob watched as his friend walked away, confused, before stepping aside to let Arthit in. Just as the door was closed his jaw dropped, gasping at what Arthit did.
"P'Arthit! No!"
Kongpob watched the elder kneel in front of him, taking both his hands in the elder's hold. The younger immediately knelt along with Arthit.
"I'm so sorry for failing you, baby. I'm sorry for making you go through this pain. I'm such an idiot," Arthit rested his forehead on Kongpob's hand making the younger gulp the lumps down his throat.
"I'm not going to lie to you, yes everything started as a game. But the feelings I had for you were always, completely true."
The younger could hear the tremble in the elder's voice, the desperation to make him listen to him.
Arthit moved closer, cupping Kongpob's cheeks. Feeling the warmth against his skin, "This might seem crazy but the moment I laid eyes on you, there was something special about you Kong that I couldn't help but always search for you. My eyes always tried to find you in the crowd, my heart desired to hold you close. But then you came talking back to me, questioning me. You know my temper, Kong."
"But each time I shout at you, deep down I just wanted to pull you in and kiss the hell out of you."
Despite the situation they were in, Kongpob could feel his cheeks heat, the realisation that Arthit always wanted him made him feel tremors down his skin,
"I was confused by these feelings. Never have I found such a strong desire and passion in me for anyone else. It was more than what I normally felt. Other relationships that I had was with people who only saw my money or body, then there were people who didn't match me within soo many aspects."
Arthit's lips stretched into a beautiful soft smile, his dimples on display, the sight Kongpob missed soo much. The younger could feel his heart beat faster just because of the smile the head hazer directed at him.
"But you, Kong, you made me feel...plete. There was something special in you that I see in no other."
"True that I started courting you because of the bet but baby, the day you agreed to be my boyfriend, I was completely in love with you. It was not a game, it was my heart that yearned for you. I had fallen hard for you, baby."
Kongpob's lips trembled, the feeling of a weight being lifted off his chest consumed him. All the doubts that his mind created were gone.
"You are an exception in my life, Kong."
Arthit chuckled, caressing Kongpob's cheeks as he watched the younger break down in tears as he reached to grab his wrist, pushing closer to him. Before the elder knew Kongpob was already in his arms, burying his face into his chest.
Arthit wrapped his arms tightly around his lover, he had missed holding him."There are a million ways to say how much I love you that I truly don't know where to start, Kong. I am deeply in love with you, your smile, your pouts and the times you sulk at me, everything that you do captures my heart. I get lost in your eyes, I feel at home in your touch. I-I don't want to lose you, Kong. Don't leave."
Kongpob sobbed, tears cascading down his face seeing the resilient, hot-headed head hazer who controlled the whole freshmen batch crumble in front of him. He pulled away with a pout, staring into the teary eyes of the elder.
"I-I hate you soo much," Kongpob mumbled between his controlled sobs before leaning forward, capturing the elder's lips between his.
Arthit gasped into the kiss, a small smile spreading onto his lips the very next second. His hands slipped behind the younger's neck, his fingers threading into his hair, pulling the younger closer.
A soft moan escaped Kongpob's lips through the suppressed sound of hiccups as Arthit tilted his head, kissing him deeper. He found himself pushing closer to the elder's warmth, clutching onto the t-shirt the other wore.
His legs wrapped around Arthit's waist. His hands between them, clutching tight to the elder male as skilful lips devoured his.
When they pulled away for the much-needed sir Kongpob rested his head on Arthit's chest, around tightly around the elder. His ears caught up the fastened heartbeats of the elder.
"I-I was soo scared. Scared if you would tell me it was an act and you no longer needed me. I was scared to face it if it was the truth, P'Arthit."
Kongpob sobbed into Arthit's chest, letting out the worries and overthinking that was going on inside his head, "I-I'm so sorry."
"Shh...baby," Arthit made the younger look up at him, placing a small kiss on the tip of his now rosy nose he smiled."If anyone has to say sorry it should be me. I didn't tell you the truth."
Kongpob sniffled, pressing their forehead together. He loved the feeling of being cradled in Arthit's arms.
"I love you."
Arthit let out a breath of fresh air, being the butterflies in his pit just with the three words his lover has uttered.
"I love you more."
As Kongpob approached his friends at the cafeteria to have breakfast with a bright smile on his face he was met with teasing stares from them.
"Someone is in a good mood," Prae giggled, winking at Kongpob who blushed at her remark, taking his seat beside Aim.
Kongpob shook his head, chuckling when his friends cooed at him dramatically.
"Hmm...Kong."
He looked up to see Tew and Aim apologetically staring back at him.
"We're sorry, Kong. We just heard what the seniors were talking about and didn't know what was going on in the back. The only thing that registered in our mind was that you shouldn't get hurt," Tew sighed, feeling guilty.
If they had made it clear with Arthit before revealing everything to Kongpob the couple wouldn't have been hurt.
Aim nodded his head, "Yes Kong, and you know how we were when you said that you and P'Arthit were in a relationship. We were doubtful of P'Arthit and that doubt resurfaced when we heard the seniors speak."
Kongpob smiled at his friends. He's glad to have such caring friends and he's happy to know they were just protecting him even though it caused him a little pain in the past few days.
"It's ok guy, really, and thank you for caring for me soo much."
Tew and Aim released a sigh of relief, "We thought you would be mad at us."
Kongpob laughed, shaking his head. The others smiled watching the three. Just before Kongpob had joined them Aim and Tew had been worried that Kongpob would be mad at them or stay angry for what they did.
"You have no idea how scared I was, Kong! The hazers practically kidnapped me and P'Arthit threatened me to come with him to your dorm!"
Kongpob's eyes widened, shocked and not shocked at the same time. He burst into a peal of laughter along with the others hearing Aim.
Despite everything, Kongpob felt tingles down him knowing what Arthit did to get a chance to talk to him. And he's glad the elder did. If it was him he doesn't know how many times he would coward away from Arthit.
Kongpob was too zoned in his thoughts to realise the silence that took over the cafeteria and his friends' wide eyes.
He was knocked out of his thoughts when a plastic bag was hanging in front of his face. Kongpob blinked, soon watching the bag being placed in front of him on the table.
"Breakfast for, my love."
Kongpob shuddered at the whisper in his ears. The very next second a bouquet of fresh white Lillies was placed in front of him making the younger gasp. He was about to turn around, wanting to meet his lover's face but the other beat him to it. Coming in front with his dashing dimpled smile, then kneeled beside him.
"P'Arthit, stand up!" Kongpob looked around to see everyone's eyes on them. Arthit was the head hazer and he has a reputation, Kongpob doesn't want the other to be seen kneeling in front of him.
"For you, baby," Arthit tilted his head, smiling sweetly at him, the sight making Kongpob's chest whelm up with soo much love for the man in front of him.
Arthit's voice wasn't a whisper nor was it loud but what he said was heard by everyone, releasing gasp from those who watched them.
Kongpob didn't care at that moment, he took the bouquet of his favourite flower, smiling giddily as he smelled the flowers. Sighing in contentment as he took in the soft floral scent of the white Lillies.
"Thank you P."
Arthit chuckled, reaching up he placed his hand on the younger's cheek startling the male but before Kongpob could react their lips met each other. A delicate shudder ran down the younger while gasps and squeals spread around them.
A sweet kiss with soft nibbles and passion. Arthit's hand reached up to caress Kongpob's jaw and the younger immediately gripped his wrist, wanting to touch the other. When they parted Arthit smiled at Kongpob's flushed face, shyly looking back into his hazel orbs.
"I love you," Arthit whispered, pecking at the younger's rosy lips before standing up.
"Have your breakfast, I'm going to class. And let's have lunch together, ok?"
Kongpob absentmindedly nodded his head, gripping onto the bouquet close to his chest.
Ruffling Kongpob's hair with a remark of his lover being 'cute' making the younger blush mauve Arthit walked away nonchalantly, as he indirectly marked Kongpob in front of the whole campus. Screaming to the crowds without any words that Kongpob Suttilak was his and they are lovers.
Kongpob smiled shyly when Arthit's friends followed the head hazer, eyeing him teasingly. He didn't even realise the other hazers were also present.
"Someone is being pampered!"
His friends started to tease him but Kongpob's eyes followed Arthit, his fingers caressing the flowers, his lips tingling as they carried the taste of his lover.
The younger bit his lips when Arthit suddenly stopped in his tracks and turned around to face him, their eyes locked and a mischievous smile played on the head hazer's lips as Arthit winked at his boyfriend before being pushed by Prem to walk head to get in class instead of flirting with his lover.
And if possible Kongpob blushed deeper, his ears ringing with the squeals of all the students around him.
