The party before the summer holidays was just around the corner. Favian calculated that the party would last longer if each class had a drama performance.

Laura sitting beside Zayn wondered why the girls were smiling at them. "Zayn, do we have something on our faces? Why are they all looking at us?"
Zayn glanced at the crowd coldly.
The girls instantly left.
He leaned closer to Laura with satisfaction and said, "They're gone now."
Favian stood on the podium and watched them with a gloomy face.

As they spend more time together, they develop romantic feelings for each other. Warner agrees to propose to her, but Lena's family has arranged for her to marry Lawson Fields, the landlord's son.
Warner's proposal gets rejected. He is beaten up by Lawson and dies of depression.
On the day of Lena's wedding to Lawson, she dresses in mourning clothes and goes to Warner's grave. She cries and says that she will marry him.
Unexpectedly, a golden light splits Warner's tomb. Lena jumps into the tomb and transforms into a pair of colorful butterflies with the man she loves. They fly away, leaving this world.
Laura cried for a long time because the protagonists were not together. Every time she thought of the story, she cried.

She looked at Zayn and asked, "Zayn, which character are you playing?"
Zayn's face darkened and he looked shocked. He reflexively screwed the paper into a ball as if he was afraid that she would see it. "A small role."
