Joshua was anxious and pretended to be calm. "It's okay. Blade is ready, and we will be able to wipe out all of them."
At this moment, Laura was boarding the plane.
This was Carol's private plane.
Two men, two women, and the pair of twins were with her and Everett.
Laura walked in the front. The moment she entered the plane, a man grabbed her neckline and dragged her into a corner.
"Sit here," the man barked.
She was caught off guard and her eyes almost hit something. She looked back at the man in panic.
The man noticed her dodging just now, smiled sarcastically, and turned away without sympathy.
Laura frowned. She heard the twins giggling.
She looked over and saw the twins sneering at her. "You look like a miserable dog kicked into the corner, Laura!"
They burst into laughter.
Laura's face darkened and she stood up.
The twins immediately pointed at her and said, "Uncle! She stands up!"
The man turned around and pressed Laura to the ground. "Didn't you hear what I said? Once you enter our territory, you must obey our orders!"
Laura sat down in pain and looked at him angrily. "What will you do if I don't obey your orders?"
The man's face changed dramatically, and he raised his hand to hit her.
Seeing this, Everett, who had just boarded the plane, grabbed a pillow on the sofa and smashed it at the back of the man's head.
"What the fuck are you doing?!"
Laura stood up with difficulty and stepped on the man's foot.
The man was caught off guard and looked at Everett in astonishment. "How dare you hit me?!"
Everett didn't take him seriously at all. "What are you gonna do to me? You are just a despicable lackey. Why can't I hit you?"
The man's pupils suddenly shrank. He raised his hand to hit Everett.
Laura grabbed the water bottle on the table and beat him. "I'm distracting him!"
The man's face was hit by the bottle and he stared at her in pain.
Everett did a roundabout sweep and kicked the man's private part.
The man's face turned red with pain.
He screamed and kneeled, unable to breathe.
The twin sisters were dumbfounded.
Other bodyguards were even more stunned.
Laura picked up the water bottle aggressively and asked, "Think we are easy targets for bullying?"
Blue veins burst open on the man's forehead, and he looked at her, in too much pain to speak.
Everett sneered and stepped on the man's shoulder.
It didn't hurt much, but it was very insulting.
The man made a painful groan but couldn't move at all.
Everett stepped on the man's shoulder harder, looked down at him, and asked, "You don't know what is going on, do you?"
The man looked at him, wincing in pain.
Everett grinned, revealing his canine tooth. "I'm Carol's grandson, and this is her granddaughter. We came to this laboratory of our own free will to be studied. You know what that means, right?"
He glanced contemptuously at the frightened twins next to him and said, "In other words, my family owns the company. How dare a dog bite its owner?"
The man's face blushed and he was having a hard time breathing because of the pain. He could only look at Everett resentfully.
Seeing his angry face, Everett became more contemptuous and said, "If something happens to Laura and me, what do you think Carol will do to you, a loyal dog of hers?"
The man froze for a second and all the blood rushed to his head. Gritting his teeth, he said, "Do you think you are still the noble young master of the Smith family after coming here?"
With his foot on the man, Everett leaned down and said, "Yes. As long as the Smith family is still powerful, and as long as Carol is my grandmother, I will always maintain his status as a noble young master. Don't compare me with those lowly lackeys. Do you hear me?"
The twins suddenly understood something and said, "Are you suggesting that we are lowly lackeys?"
Everett looked at them with indifference. He asked, "Do you have a problem with it? If so, deal with it."
The twin sisters' expressions changed dramatically. They froze in place without saying anything.
Everett kicked the man again and reached out his hand to Laura. "Come here."
Laura ran to him and held his hand.
Everett asked, "What did he do to you just now?"
Laura felt secure as she held her brother's warm and dry palm. She recounted, "He pushed me into the corner and told me to sit there."
A trace of anger flashed across Everett's eyes. He raised his hand and slapped the back of the man's head.
"You are getting yourself fired. Do you know that?"
The man gasped and stood up with red eyes. "Was I wrong? Since you're here, you have to follow our orders. Mrs. Yale will never indulge you."
Everett said calmly, "Really? If I asked her to choose between your life and mine, what do you think she would choose?"
The man was scared, and his face turned pale. He suddenly realized that Everett was telling the truth.
Laura blinked and looked at Everett.
Despite wearing a simple black T-shirt, jeans, and white shoes, Everett exuded a dignified, royal, and carefree demeanor.
She learned a lot today.
Next time, she would dress that way and talk that way.
He looked impressive.
She raised her chin, trying to assume a menacing air.
Everett held Laura's chin to check her wound and said to the man casually, "If you still want this job, be polite to me. My sister and I are here for fun, not to be bullied."
Then he looked at the twins and said, "Can't you understand me? Stay away from us and sit somewhere else."
The twins were dissatisfied. "We made great contributions today. We deserve to sit here."
Everett raised his eyebrows and asked, "Is that so?"
He picked up the glass bottle from the table and smashed it.
Glass shards were scattered throughout the area.
The twin sisters were scared. They got up and ran away, shivering in the corner, too shocked to speak.
They thought, 'He must be a lunatic.
'He is unreasonable.'
Everett carried Laura and they sat down on the sofa. He snapped his fingers at those people and ordered, "Come here and clean up the mess."
The people looked at each other, their faces pale, and obediently cleaned up the broken glass scattered on the floor.
The older twin's sister could no longer stand it. "Laura, don't you think your brother went too far? He doesn't treat us as human beings at all!"
Laura looked at her and said, "I don't think so. You just said I was like a miserable dog!"
The older sister roared, "That's because you are like a dog!"
A glass shard brushed past her cheek.
She felt a sharp pain, and blood began to flow from her face down to her chin.
She was a little confused.
Her sister next to her screamed, "Your face is bleeding."
She raised her hand in surprise and touched her face.
Bright red blood was on her fingertips.
Her hands trembled, and then she looked down at the object that caused the injury.
It was a glass shard.
She looked stiffly at Everett.
He held Laura's shoulder with one hand and two pieces of broken glass in the other. His menacing eyes were fixed on the twin, making him look very scary.
"One more word and I will..."
