The woman hid behind the door, breathing fast. When she heard the footsteps going away, she felt a little relieved and frowned in regret.
Did she smell that bad?
How dare Joshua call her a rotting corpse!
The woman's face turned pale with pain. Then she looked at her phone.
Damn it! Her goal was to make Laura suffer. She had planned to attack Laura with sulfuric acid first and then stab her with the knife.
However, the sulfuric acid corroded the woman's hand.
The knife pierced into her palm.
She went out to find a time, but Joshua said she smelled like a stinky corpse.
This time, the woman determined to be more impatient.
Laura must come back to sleep anyway.
So if the woman waited here quietly, she would succeed.
The woman changed the tissue stained with blood, threw it on the ground casually, and hid in the closet.
Half an hour later, Laura was full and said, "I'm full. Thank you for the midnight snack."
Joshua was drunk and approached Laura, saying, "Sweetie! Let me give you a kiss! Let me see my lovely daughter!
Laura dodged in fear.
Favian said with disdain, "If you are full, go back to sleep. Don't mind him. He's drunk."
Laura nodded and ran to her room, fearing that Joshua would hug her and not let her go.
The woman had been waiting for a long time. She got vigilant when she heard the footsteps.
Here it came!
Laura was finally back!
Suddenly, Laura pushed the door open and smelled a strange smell of sweat.
The stink was even tinged with blood.
She frowned and looked at the bed.
The bear was still lying on it, but the cloth seemed to be corroded somehow.
Laura felt scared. Then she walked to the nightstand and picked up Lilian's garage kit.
The woman squatted in the closet and looked at Laura through the gap.
Laura only felt that the room was terribly quiet.
She vaguely guessed something. Her breathing became more and more rapid. Then she exclaimed, "I'm so thirsty! I want water!"
Then Laura turned around and ran away.
The woman's face contorted into a frown as she felt a pang of regret for missing the opportunity.
But it didn't matter. Laura would come back after drinking water. The two men outside wouldn't take care of Laura, nor would they come back to sleep with her.
The woman stealthily emerged from the closet and crouched beside the bed, poised to deliver a lethal strike to Laura.
At the same time, Laura rushed into the kitchen, grabbed Favian's pants, and lowered her voice, "Someone is in Laura's room!"
Favian was washing the dishes and looked back in shock, asking, "What?"
Joshua was drunk and slurred, "What did you say?"
Laura was terrified and said, "I'm sure someone has entered my room. The little bear was corroded by something and there was a stink of sweat in the air! And the smell of blood!"
Favian suddenly got alarmed.
Joshua listened carefully and asked, "What?"
Laura became more and more frightened. Tears welled up in her eyes as she said, "My bedroom was infected by the zombie virus. Zombie crisis is really going to break out!"
Favian was astounded by her words.
Joshua said, "The zombie crisis is about to break out! So I'm gonna make a lot of money in the gun business!"
Favian knocked Joshua hard on the head and calmly came forward, saying to Laura, "Don't be afraid. I'll go have a look."
Laura nodded, then hastily grabbed the golf club from the living room and mustered up her courage to follow Favian.
Favian walked gently.
Joshua wobbled.
And Laura held a golf club.
The woman endured the pain as she lay on the bedside, attentively listening to the sounds, trying to discern their distances.
Then the door was pushed open.
There were no footsteps, but the door closed slowly.
The woman smiled grimly and jumped out from under the bed. "Go to hell, Laura!"
However, the woman was stunned.
Because she was looking at three pairs of eyes.
The woman's mouth twitched, and she exclaimed, "Huh?"
The room was silent.
Joshua was utterly repulsed, feeling the urge to vomit. He pointed at the woman and exclaimed, "Good heavens! The old man's vest has transformed into a woman! She's here!"
Laura was confused and asked, "Is it an old man's vest or a zombie?"
The woman felt vexed.
She cursed in her heart, 'Damn you! Go to hell!'
Standing in the front, Favian smiled arrogantly and said, "Neither. It's human."
Laura was appalled and the stick in her hand was taken away.
Favian stared at the woman and asked, "What do you want to do? Do you intend to hurt my niece?"
The woman's eyes were wide open.
Why were so many people here?
She stammered, "I... I just got lost!"
"Lost?" Favian's eyes were full of murderous intent. He looked at the bed and asked, "What is the liquid on the bed? Is it sulfuric acid?"
The woman's eyes widened in fear.
Favian looked even more fierce as he continued, "You're going to splash sulfuric acid on my niece's face, aren't you?"
The woman quibbled, "No!"
However, she was so flustered that the knife in her hand fell to the ground.
She looked at Favian in horror.
Favian's eyes suddenly turned gloomy and intimidating, and his tone was calm but terrifying, "What is this? Huh?"
The woman raised her hand, and her injured palm was scary. She said, "It's all a misunderstanding! Although I came here to do evil things, now I am the victim! I got hurt because Laura pushed the door open too violently!"
Favian said, "You wanted to splash sulfuric acid at Laura but failed. How dare you say that you are the victim!"
Then Favian hit the woman with the stick.
The woman was thrown to the ground and screamed, "Oh! Help! He's killing me!"
Favian, like a furious lion, roared with furious eyes, "Laura, call the police!"
Laura came back to her senses and nodded. Then she hurried to call the police.
Fortunately, it was not a zombie crisis. It was just that someone had come to assassinate her.
Soon, the police arrived.
After inspection, they found that the woman brought acid, a knife, and a rope.
The woman seemed to be out of her mind. She even defended, "She is Evan's enemy. He has been repressed because of her! She deserves to die! And I didn't hurt her. I got injured. She's fine, isn't she? Why are you arresting me?"
Joshua had sobered up. He was taking a video of the woman while asking, "Don't you think you were wrong?"
The woman looked at Joshua and said madly, "It's all Laura's fault, not mine! Why did you say I was wrong? She has caused trouble for Evan!"
Joshua sneered, "Fine. I'll post the video on the Internet for everyone to comment on whether Evan was wrong or Laura was wrong. If everyone knows that Evan has a mad fan like you, do you think he can still have a chance to be accepted by the public?"
The woman was suddenly reminded and looked at Joshua in astonishment, shouting, "You can't post on Twitter. You can't!"
Ignoring her words, Joshua posted this video on Twitter, thoughtfully adding a personal mosaic over her face. Then he said sarcastically, "Your words don't count.'"
The woman's eyes widened abruptly as the post garnered increasing views and the comments continuously flowed in, updating incessantly. Before long, the comment count surpassed 99.
The woman broke down and cried, "I was wrong! Please delete it! What I did has nothing to do with Evan. Shoot another video for me! You're hurting Evan! Please! I'm begging you!"
Hiding behind the door, Laura frowned.
The woman's behavior astonished her.
Would Laura ever have such a crazy fan?
What would her fans do?
Suddenly, Laura's phone rang.
She picked it up and heard Zayn's voice, "I'm at your door. Open it for me."
Laura was surprised.
What?
Why did Zayn arrive so fast?
Did he fly here?

        Did she smell that bad?
