"Thanks,” Ella paid the bill before heading toward the Underground Arena. But she was stopped at the entrance.
“Little one, are you alone here? This is not the place you should come,” a man stopped her with good intentions. Ella was aware of the many eyes watching her.
“I’m here to find Michael,” Ella answered coldly but politely.
“Huh, okay, okay, come with me. I’ll take you there—it’s not safe for you to wander here alone.” The man was shocked for a moment to hear Michael’s name come from a little girl’s mouth, but he quickly recovered.
“There he is, in black clothes. You can meet him after the match,” the man hurriedly pointed Michael out to Ella.
“Thank you, uncle. You can go and do your work. I’m fine here, and judging by the match, it should finish in a few minutes.”
“Okay, okay, but remember, next time don’t come here alone,” the man reminded Ella before returning to his work.
As Ella expected, the match finished within five minutes, and without a doubt, Michael was the winner.
Ella waited for Michael to collect his money before approaching him.
“Hello, my name is Ella Smith,” she introduced herself.
Michael looked at her coldly before nodding.
“I have work for you, and I’m sure you’ll be interested,” Ella said.
“Sorry, but I don’t have time for jobs,” Michael answered coldly before turning to leave. He still had to go to the hospital to take care of his sister.
“It’s about your sister, Mr. Michael,” Ella suddenly said, causing Michael to stop in his tracks.
“How do you know about my sister?” Michael narrowed his eyes and spoke in a dangerous tone.
“Mr. Michael, calm down. I have no ill intentions toward you or your sister. What I want to say is that I can help your sister by arranging the world’s best doctor for her,” Ella explained calmly.
Michael thought deeply. If his sister could receive treatment, he was willing to do anything. He looked at Ella and asked calmly, “And what do you want me to do in return?”
“No, you don’t have to do anything illegal. In fact, I will provide you with a job with a very good salary. It’s fully legal,” Ella explained calmly. She clearly understood from Michael’s eyes what he was thinking.
“Okay, then what do I need to do?” Michael asked.
“You only have to be my brother’s bodyguard. You can also invite your brothers, but I need someone trustworthy,” Ella stated her requirement. She knew Michael had many students and friends, but after his retirement, they had all given up their dreams and were doing small jobs to make a living.
“Sure, I know four people. They are all very good and trustworthy,” Michael said. Of the people he knew, two were his friends and two were his students. They were all doing small jobs now, but if he asked them, they would surely come.
“That’s awesome,” Ella was excited to hear this. Now she could arrange bodyguards for her mother as well. It’s not like she couldn’t ask Alex Walker, but these were comparable to Alex’s bodyguards—they were orphans who had received training under an organization since childhood. But they were also the people who had destroyed that organization because the people there had used Michael’s sister in an experiment.

Ella knew all this because in her last life, Michael couldn’t contact the best doctors to treat his sister, and she died. Michael had nothing left in this world, so he admitted his crimes to the police and surrendered himself. His brothers also followed his path.
“So, when can I start this job?” Michael asked Ella.
“From tomorrow morning. Come to this address at six-thirty. I will transfer your sister to the country’s best hospital by tonight and will arrange the world’s best doctor for her soon. You don’t have to worry about her because I will also hire two personal nurses for her. Now give me your phone number so I can send you the address,” Ella said, handing him her phone to get his number.
