Thinking that he had hit him hard, he started to rub her bottom with a light hand, causing Ella to become stiff.
Ella, who was still crying just now, was totally stiff when she felt Alex's hand rubbing her bottom. She forgot about her crying, her whole face and ears turned red like a tomato.
Alex rubbed her for the next few minutes, looking at Ella, who was completely silent now. He thought that she was not hurting anymore.
Then he helped her to sit and was stunned to see her red face. He asked worriedly, “Are you having a fever, Ya Ya?”
Ella realized she was now sitting on Brother Alex’s lap. Her face flushed even more, and she hurriedly shook her head.
“But your whole face is red. I didn’t control myself,” Alex said, thinking Ella must have a fever because of him. He knew he would never lose control in front of her.
“No, no, Brother Alex, it’s not because of that,” Ella hurriedly said. But the next moment, when she realized what she had said, her face turned even redder, like blood.
By now, Alex also understood why his Ya Ya’s face was so red. He couldn’t help but feel warm—something inside him wasn’t right.
And it was natural. The person he loved was sitting on his lap, and he had just touched her. He was a normal man, so how could he control his biological reactions?
But the problem was his little fiancée was still very young, so he couldn’t be a beast. He took a deep breath and helped Ella sit on the sofa.
“Brother Alex, what’s wrong?” Ella asked with innocent eyes.
Looking at her beautiful, innocent eyes, Alex cursed himself inwardly for being a beast. He took a deep breath before saying, “Nothing. You wait here; I’ll go take a shower,” while gently rubbing her head.
Ella watched Alex leave, confused for a moment, before realizing she wasn’t a child anymore. With the knowledge from her past life, she understood why Brother Alex had gone to take a shower now.
Upon realizing this, Ella’s heartbeat quickened. She stood up and opened the windows of the room. Outside the villa, there was a beautiful garden where her favorite white and red roses were planted in a lovely arrangement.
Ella was very shocked to see the scenery in front of her. It wasn’t like she had noticed it before—this was the first time she really looked at the villa seriously. She still remembered the last time she had come here; she had accused Alex of tying her down in a relationship and had caused trouble between her and Jackson Bell because he wasn’t talking to her. She blamed Alex for that to try to fix things with Jackson, even giving him many expensive gifts. Now, thinking about that incident, Ella couldn’t help but curse herself.
She had been so stupid then that she hadn’t even noticed the efforts Brother Alex had made for her. Besides the beautiful garden, there was a swing hanging from a tree. The whole scene was like a beautiful dreamland.
The villa was located in the city center, but each villa here had its own independent garden and swimming pool. This was the Smith Family project, and Alex himself had handled it. So without a doubt, Alex was the best among them all.
Only eleven villas were located on this huge piece of land, and the only business family living here was the Smiths. Other than Alex, all the other nine families either belonged to military officials or high-ranked politicians.
In the bathroom, after taking a shower, Alex realized he hadn’t brought any clothes with him. When he came in, the only towel slipped from his hand accidentally, and now he had nothing to cover himself. Leaving with no choice, he called out for Ella’s help.
“Ella, help with my clothes and towel—they’re in the closet.”
Ella was still lost in enjoying the beautiful scenery in front of her but came out of her daydream when she heard Alex’s words.
“Okay,” Ella replied hurriedly and walked to Alex’s closet. She took out his shirt and pants, and the towel was easy to find. But her face turned red again when she thought about his underwear. Brother Alex obviously couldn’t wear clothes without underwear.
She took a deep breath before opening the drawers. In the first drawer, there were various kinds of ties; in the second, his belts; and in the third, she finally found his underwear.
They were all neatly arranged but mostly gray or black. She picked a black pair with a red face and closed the drawer. But before she could fully close it—
“Ella, did you find the clothes?” Alex called out. He had been waiting in the bathroom for five minutes with no movement outside and couldn’t help but ask, thinking she might not find his closet.
“One second,” Ella said, hurriedly closing the drawer and walking to the bathroom door.
“Here are your clothes, Brother Alex,” she said while knocking.
Alex opened the door just enough to extend one hand, showing his bare upper body. Ella’s eyes widened when she saw Alex’s naked torso.
She forgot to breathe, let alone hand him the clothes—she just stared without blinking. Alex was very pleased with her reaction. All the hours he worked out in the gym were finally paying off with Ella’s blank stare.
“Are you satisfied with your man’s body?” Alex asked with slightly curled lips.
Ella nodded blankly, not even realizing it.
“Hahaha,” Alex laughed loudly and patted her head. He wanted to tease her more but controlled himself since she was still underage. Ella snapped out of her daze, hurriedly put the clothes in Alex’s hand, and then ran out of the room. Alex laughed again, watching her escape.
He looked down at the clothes in his hands and closed the bathroom door to change.
