“Brother Alex, don’t believe this wild girl. She’s spouting nonsense. She sneaked into your house. I only said those things so she would leave and not anger you,” Freya hurriedly explained.
Alex was angry when he heard that this girl wanted his Ya Ya to leave their home. He had made this house according to Ya Ya’s preferences—for Ya Ya and himself only.
His Ya Ya was finally willing to come to their home in a good mood and wanted to know more about their home, and this girl wanted his Ya Ya to leave and even claimed the right to do so.
“And who are you to ask her to leave this house?” Alex asked angrily.
Freya trembled at Alex’s question but controlled herself. She couldn’t forget her reason for coming here. “Brother Alex, I’m only doing this for you,” she hurriedly said. She just wanted these wild girls to stay away from Alex. She hadn’t done anything wrong.
Alex walked over to Ella and pulled her into his arms around her waist, saying, “You want my fiancée, the mistress of this house, to leave? Who are you to give yourself that right? And how did you even get into my villa?”
Freya’s eyes widened in shock when she saw Alex pull Ella into his arms. At first, she thought he was going to personally throw the girl out of the villa, but instead, he pulled her close and called her his fiancée.
It meant she had been acting like a fool in front of Ella from the moment she arrived. But didn’t the outside world say that Alex’s fiancée didn’t care about him? So why was she here?
Many thoughts raced through her mind, but the most important was to maintain her image in front of Alex. She controlled her emotions before saying, “Brother Alex, I didn’t know this Miss Ella. I thought she had sneaked into your home. Miss Ella also never told me she was your fiancée. If she had, there would be no misunderstanding.” Freya shifted all the blame onto Ella.
“But Miss, you said you were the mistress of this house and Brother Alex’s lover before I even introduced myself,” Ella said with a wronged expression.
“So it’s all a misunderstanding. I’m sorry, Miss Ella, I didn’t know at that time. I hope you won’t take this incident to heart. But Brother Alex, I came here to deliver this tea to you—it was specially imported from Europe this morning,” Freya said shyly, tugging a strand of hair behind her ear.
“Miss Freya, how did you get into my villa?” Alex asked, ignoring Freya’s words. No one could enter his villa without his permission—even his parents had to ask before coming the first time. Now someone had sneaked in without permission.
Freya froze at Alex’s words. She had bribed the guards with a lot of money and made great efforts so they would notify her when Alex came home. This time, the guard told her Alex came home early, so she dressed beautifully before coming to his villa, not wanting to miss the chance—since Alex usually came home late, it wouldn’t be appropriate to arrive late at night.
“Brother Alex, I came to deliver this tea, so the security guard let me in,” Freya said, extending the tea toward Alex.
“Miss Freya, I’ll warn you again—we’re not close, so don’t call me Brother Alex,” Alex said before taking out his phone to call the butler.
The butler hurried in the next minute.
“Yes, Young Master,” the butler said respectfully, looking at Freya. He didn’t know who she was because he knew all the young masters and young ladies living in this area.
“I want to ask how anyone can enter the villa without my permission. Since when do the security guards have the authority to allow anyone in?” Alex asked the butler, pointing at Freya.
“Sorry, Young Master. It’s my mistake. I will hire new, trustworthy security guards,” the butler said, then turned to Freya.
“Miss, please leave,” the butler said respectfully, guiding Freya toward the exit.
“Miss—”
“Please leave, or I will have to call the security guards to escort you out,” the butler said firmly, seeing Freya still wanted to cause trouble.
Freya looked at Alex with red, pitiful eyes before running out of the villa.
After Freya and the butler left, Ella looked at Alex with inquiring eyes. “Brother Alex, how many girls have come to deliver tea to you?”
Alex had a bad feeling that had been confirmed the moment he saw Ella’s playful look while dealing with Freya. He knew he was next.
“No one other than her. And you saw that I had no idea. It was that guard who let her in. Ya Ya, I’m really innocent—I had no idea about this,” Alex said hurriedly. He loved his life too much. He pulled Ella to his chest to comfort her.
“Okay, I believe you for now, but don’t let me see any butterflies near you,” Ella said with a furious expression, which looked very cute to Alex. He kissed Ella’s forehead before promising her.
