"Mr. Lowery, take it easy. You haven't found the person you've been looking for, have you?" With that, Arielle quickly jotted down a few words on a piece of paper and gave a subtle glance to the waiter beside her.
The waiter took the paper from Arielle and respectfully handed it to Samson.
He was freaking out inside, fearing he'd be used as a pawn by Samson.
After Samson received the letter, the waiter immediately took a few steps back to avoid being implicated.
Samson's deep eyes fixated on the white paper in his hand.
The girl was surnamed Bradford. According to his investigation, there was no such lady in any of Haishi's prominent families.
With an unknown identity, she exuded an extraordinary aura at such a young age.
Even when facing him, she showed no trace of panic or fear.
Such a person shouldn't remain unknown.
Similarly, she had no reason to toy with her own life. So, with doubts, he opened the note in front of everyone's curious eyes.
When he saw the words on the paper, Samson narrowed his eyes slightly as he slammed his right hand down on the paper.
He abruptly stood up, leaning forward, his eyes filled with overwhelming hatred.
He squeezed out each word between his teeth. "If you don't explain clearly, you and everyone around you will pay for your foolish actions!"
Everyone in the room heard his furious threat.
All were curious about what Arielle had written on the paper.
On the stage, Arielle, unaffected by Samson's anger, slowly stood up.
She walked step by step towards Samson.
Bending down, she whispered in a voice only the two of them could hear, "He has a 3-inch scar near the root of his right thigh."
With that, she returned to her seat as if nothing had happened.
Upon hearing this, Samson plopped his entire body back into the chair with a heavy thud.
A sense of trance came over him, and he believed Arielle's words.
That guy was the one he wanted to dismember every waking moment.
Because of this person, his wife and daughter Alice both lost their lives.
Ten years ago, when he brought his family to Haskium, they got ambushed.
Luckily, Gavin's grandpa, Arthur Boone, showed up and saved them.
He thought that the life of constant violence and bloodshed couldn't provide stability for his wife and daughter.
So, he planned to quit the gang and live a peaceful life with his family.
But unexpectedly, before he could leave, he was betrayed by someone close.
They were hunted by another faction.
With no choice, he handed over his wife and daughter to a trusted man, telling him to keep them safe while he fled with a dozen brothers.
For a whole year, he lived on the run.
During that time, he met the boss of Cloud Nine.
With the boss's help and some remaining power, Samson killed the rival leader, Blackie.
And he became the sole boss of the gang, with no other factions in existence.
But then came an unexpected twist: While in hiding, Blackie found his wife and daughter and raped them.
The sight of his wife and daughter, who were tortured beyond recognition, filled him with rage. He chopped Blackie into pieces and fed him to the dogs.
Thinking justice had been served for his family, he learned from his dying wife that it wasn't actually Blackie who did it but some guy with knife scar on his thigh, and not just him alone...
Less than two days after his wife's death, his 14-year-old daughter Alice also died.
Their bodies were riddled with wounds.
He couldn't imagine what torture they went through.
He rounded up all of Blackie's men, interrogated each one until they confessed, then killed them.
But there was still one scarred guy out there who hadn't been found yet.
He was frantically searching for that guy, yet such private details were known to very few.
He even started a business in the red-light district.
The guy was a real pervert, and Samson was hoping to catch him off guard.
Ten years had passed. But there was still no news about him. It was like he vanished into thin air.
'Given my extensive influence in both black and white societies, I couldn't locate the guy. Could this young girl possibly know where he is?
'And how did she get information about my wife and daughter?' Samson wondered.
He was a cautious guy who didn't make deals that lost him money. But when it came to his wife and daughter, he had to take it seriously.
Arielle noticed the change in Samson's mood and knew what he was thinking.
She knew Samson would spare no effort to find that guy.
It was reasonable to say that Samson lacked nothing now, except the chance to personally avenge his enemies.
Seeing the girl across from him with no emotional changes on her face, Samson quickly adjusted himself.
He suddenly wanted to give up this bet. Because he didn't think she could beat him. If she lost, she'd be missing limbs.
That would be such a waste; and he couldn't break his own rules either.
With so many people watching, he couldn't fake it either.
He was really curious about what Arielle would ask for from him.
So, he spoke up. "Miss Bradford, what do you want?"
Arielle tapped the table softly and blurted out, "100 million dollars." Her voice was so soft that only Samson could hear it clearly, even the host beside her couldn't make it out clearly.
She admitted she had big ambitions, and she needed to prepare for all possibilities.
Gavin would soon become the richest man in Theoria.
To take him down from the clouds, she gotta have some serious cash.
She never thought she'd make money this way.
In her previous life, her gambling skills were only for Gavin.
But in the end, he personally sent her to prison.
The fire of hatred burned within her.
'This round, I must win,' Arelle swore inwardly.
Everyone outside was curious what they were talking about.
When Samson heard her, he frowned, thinking, 'A little girl wants 100 million? Bold move.'
He had numerous businesses across the country and was not short of money.
The issue was that winning 100 hundred million from him wasn't such a straightforward task. It was almost impossible for her to achieve.
Over all these years, he hadn't encountered a true rival across the entire nation, yet.
"Alright, 100 million, deal." Samson was intrigued.
He wondered how she was so confident that she could beat him.
Feeling cocky, he added a condition, "If you really beat me today, I'll throw in a plot of land. But you gotta tell me that guy's info."
With such a sweet deal, Arielle had no reason to refuse. "Sure, no problem."
Three years from now, Gavin would be the biggest name in Theoria.
This was Arielle's chance. She couldn't let her enemies die easily.
She'd torture them slowly, making them suffer.
As Arielle remained silent, Samson worried she might refuse.
He kept pushing. "If 100 hundred million's not enough, I can add another plot elsewhere. We can negotiate."
This was a big concession from Samson, all because he wanted to know where his enemy was.
He was filled with hatred.
After so many years, he finally got a lead on that scumbag, and he didn't wanna miss it.
He never thought he'd ever be in a passive position.
Arielle was totally caught off guard when Samson offered her another plot. 'What a pleasant surprise. 100 million plus a plot? Talk about a killer deal!' she said inwardly.
The waiter took the paper from Arielle and respectfully handed it to Samson.
