In the underground dungeon, a black-suited bodyguard respectfully handed over a phone.
Samson glanced at the message on the screen and casually raised his right hand. "Get Tiana!"
"Got it." A few men behind him bowed and left.
Samson glanced at the man on the ground. He picked up his cigar, took a puff, and exhaled smoke.
His movements were casual, with no sign he'd just unleashed a brutal fight.
Earlier, he personally beat Andrew half to death.
After ten years, he could finally take revenge.
He wanted to tear the guy apart and use his blood to honor his wife and daughter.
A few black-suited men lifted the barely breathing Andrew.
He was covered in wounds, without a single patch of good skin.
But the knife scar on his thigh was preserved, standing out glaringly.
"Lock them up together!" he ordered coldly.
He meant to throw Andrew in with a few starving wolfhounds that had gone without food for three days.
He'd thought of personally finishing Andrew off, but then figured such a death was too easy for Andrew.
The torment his wife and daughter endured was far worse. He wasn't a good man to begin with, and dealing with evil called for equally evil methods.
After getting a video and photos from Arielle last night, he immediately took action and captured this scumbag.
The clear knife scar in the photo confirmed the man's identity—the very one he'd been hunting for ten years.
After being captured, Andrew was brutally beaten.
Samson loathed him to the core and didn't kill him right away.
After an all-night interrogation, Samson confirmed there were more accomplices from back then still at large.
At first, Andrew wouldn't talk, thinking his partner was his last card. No matter what methods were used, Andrew wouldn't spill the beans.
Just as Samson was about to resort to extreme torture, Arielle called, saying she had a way to find the missing accomplices and needed his men's help on condition that Tiana be handed over to her.
Half an hour later, the cheating video spread among Andrew's friends.
If it weren't for the face, few would recognize the scarred man in the video as him.
Three hours later, in a low-key Santana sat a middle-aged man, frantically dialing countless times, yet no one picked up.
He kept urging the driver, "Faster!"
The phone call didn't go through, so he had to go in person.
After ten years of stability, this was the second time he felt panic, his whole body trembling.
Two hours later, he arrived at the destination.
The man was Spike Tomlinson, Andrew's sworn brother.
But since they were wanted by the underworld, they had kept a low profile for years, rarely interacting.
Spike pressed the doorbell, then, fearing no one heard, he pounded anxiously.
At that moment, a bodyguard in black with sunglasses opened the door.
The guard sized him up, asking, "Who are you?"
Spike was desperate, ignoring him and rushing inside.
The bodyguard wasn't a pushover either, grabbing Spike's hand firmly. Both men were skilled martial artists, and Spike knew the purpose of his visit today. He didn't want to get thrown out before even meeting Axe.
So, he quickly said, "I need to see Axe. It's urgent."
The bodyguard let him go, asking, "Your name?"
"Spike."
The bodyguard soon returned with a slightly changed attitude. Behind him were a few bodyguards armed to the teeth,
Spike still felt a bit nervous. It had been ten years since he'd lived that rough life of fights and chaos.
Used to the steady days now, he didn't want to go back to the old ways.
Stepping inside, Spike realized this place was totally different from the outside world.
The villa was huge, packed with bodyguards. All armed, their eyes followed Spike's every move.
He followed the bodyguards, winding through several loops and finally reaching the innermost part.
Looking at the high-end, luxurious decor, he couldn't help but marvel, "Damn, he's loaded! No wonder he's got so many bodyguards to protect himself."
Inside the villa, a slightly plump guy was leisurely making coffee.
The aroma filled the whole room.
Even when he saw someone coming, he didn't stop his actions.
He was wearing a rosary on his wrist and a crucifix around his neck.
People might think he was a Jesus believer. Nah. He just did too many shady deals and wanted some psychological comfort this way.
Spike burst in, speaking with urgent tones. "How you doing, Axe, we... we got big trouble."
Axe poured half a cup of coffee into the mug, not even glancing sideways. He spoke sparingly, as if every word was precious. "Spit it."
Seeing the guy so calm, Spike felt like kicking the pot out of his hand. He glanced at the bodyguards, saying, "Axe, this is private, can't let anyone know..."
Axe put down the pot, waved his hand, and the outer ring of bodyguards dispersed, leaving only two inside the room.
Spike knew these two were Axe's close bodyguards.
Axe slowly sat up, and a bodyguard lit a cigarette for him.
He took a drag, then finally looked at Spike with some impatience. "Better be something huge, or you're leaving a dead body today."
Axe was the big boss of Spike and Andrew.
After that incident, Samson issued a bounty on them, but everyone who knew the details was dead now, leaving only the four of them.
Besides Andrew, there was also Gaylord Schwartz, who overdosed on drugs last month and kicked the bucket.
Now it was just the three of them.
After years of hiding, the four went their separate ways, and in the past two years, Andrew had been rolling with Axe again.
They agreed to keep that thing buried, never to mention it.
Axe even severed all ties with them, saying not to contact him unless it was a matter of life and death.
So, this was Spike's first time here.
Although he was terrified of Axe, with his life in anger, he mustered up the courage to ask Axe to dismiss his men as he had something of utmost importance to disclose.
Axe frowned but still had the bodyguards leave the room.
Now, it was just the two of them left.
Spike didn't beat around the bush any longer. Just now, with all those people around, he couldn't bring himself to say it out loud, no matter how urgent it was.
"Axe, Andrew might have been exposed."
"Huh? What do you mean? What's he exposed about?"
Axe wasn't thinking about that incident, maybe because it was too long ago. So long ago that everyone had almost forgotten about it.
He couldn't figure out what Spike was talking about and didn't react immediately.
"Someone secretly took a photo of the knife scar on Andrew's thigh and posted it online." Spike was almost frantic.
If that person caught Andrew, they'd definitely be exposed too.
He didn't think Andrew would cover for them.
Originally, he was the most timid in the gang and would never do something like that in public.
That day, both Axe and Andrew went after the woman, urging him to join in and saying that he would be wasting a golden opportunity.
He hesitated for a long time, unable to muster the courage, with the woman's cries echoing in his ears. Then Andrew laughed at him, saying he couldn't get it up.
He got so mad at that.
Trying to prove himself and under the spur of Andrew, he pulled his pants off...
After hearing Spike's words, Axe stood up, took out his phone, and saw that video, along with a bunch of photos.
Every single one showed that clear scar.
"Who took these?" he asked.
Spike was almost in tears. "I don't know, and Andrew's missing too, along with that woman he was with."
