No one present had ever witnessed such a scene. Several students rushed to fetch the dean.
When John Smith, the Dean of Students, was urgently summoned by panicked students, he arrived at a scene that chilled his blood.
In the classroom, several boys and girls lay sprawled across the floor, each groaning in pain.
At the center stood Arielle. One foot pressed down on Olivia, the other on Emma. Her hand gripped Sophian's chin, forcing her head up.
Sophia struggled, but found the grip impossibly strong, impossible to break. Rachel trembled, visibly shaken.
The rest of the students huddled outside the door, too afraid to enter.
Arielle swept her gaze dismissively over her captives. A faint, chilling smile played on her lips, as if she'd found grim satisfaction in the violence.
Staring into the eyes of this bloodthirsty figure, Sophia finally felt true terror. 'I shouldn't have run my mouth. Shouldn't have provoked this maniac.
'Horrifying. Those eyes—demonic, not human—burned with a malice I'd never seen. Not in any girl. Not in any living thing.'
They were the same age, yet the hostility rolling off Arielle felt like it crawled straight out of hell.
One thing screamed in Sophia's gut: 'Arielle wanted us dead. No holding back.'
Seeing the figures on the floor curled in pain, unable to meet her gaze, Arielle slowly turned. Her eyes locked onto the students cowering outside.
Arielle turned toward the whisperers. Her smile—a blade sheathed in ice—said everything: Remember this. It's your last chance.
Everyone was stunned, especially the Four. They'd bullied others or been beaten before, and always repaid pain with double.
But this feeling of being utterly crushed, unable to fight back? That was new and deeply humiliating. They seethed with resentment.
John looked from Arielle to the groaning figures on the floor. He felt his head pound. 'Walking nightmares, all of them! What do I even do?!'
'Maybe I should just faint. Why me? First James Miller, now this? This is driving me crazy!' John ran a hand through his hair, panicking.
Steeling himself, John finally entered the classroom. "Wh-what's going on here? Get up, get moving!" he stammered, avoiding eye contact with others.
Rachel spotted John like a drowning woman seeing a lifeline. "Mr. Smith! Help!" she wailed, pointing at Arielle. "Look what she did to us! She attacked us!"
"Mr. Smith, she's a monster!" Olivia covered her face, tears of genuine pain and self-pity streaming down.
Liam chimed in immediately. "Mr. Smith, she beat us up, too! She's vicious! You have to expel her!"
"Mr. Smith, she slapped me!" another echoed.
John licked his chapped lips. 'Holy terrors, I must have been cursed to end up with these brats. Beat one kid, maybe fine. But this many? Is she here to study or to rule as queen?'
As Dean, John had to restore order. He turned to Arielle. "Why did you do this?" He eyed the petite girl skeptically. 'How could she have taken down so many?' he mused.
"They talked shit about me," Arielle said, shaking her numb hand. She'd forgotten her 17-year-old body couldn't handle such brutal force yet.
She hadn't held back enough during the fight, and her hand was paying the price.
Her casual tone infuriated the injured students. Olivia scrambled to her feet and glared hatefully at Arielle.
Though Olivia longed to curse, the presence of John and the fear of another beating kept her words in check.
Olivia spoke up, furious but cautious. "We told the truth! Who do you think you are, shutting people up like that? You're a psycho for hitting us! My dad will ruin you!"
Witnesses backed her up—Arielle had started it first. John sighed slightly. 'These students' families wouldn't let her get away with this.'
John cast a pitiful glance at Arielle. 'Just transferred in, and probably expelled by day's end.'
Arielle shot them a cold glare before returning to her seat. "They all owe me apologies. Today. Or I'll do this again. Does anyone else want to try me?"
John marveled at her arrogance. 'Assaulting half the class and demanding apologies? She and James would make a lovely pair of delinquents.'
Feeling utterly out of his depth, John reported the incident. The school administration panicked, calling the parents of each student immediately.
Hearing their children had been beaten at school, the parents of the injured students arrived at the principal's office within an hour.
Some, red-faced with rage, lunged towards Arielle, only to be restrained by security and administrators at the scene.
Sophia's mother wept at her daughter's bruised face, glaring at Arielle. "The esteemed Bradfords raised a thug. I'm calling the police! Jail might cool her off!"
Olivia's mother jumped in. "Uneducated brute! I've never laid a finger on my Olivia. How could you be so vicious?"
"Mr. Smith," Rachel's father declared, righteous anger burning in his eyes, "I demand only one thing: let Rachel hit her back. Eye for an eye!"
Emma's mother crossed her arms imperiously. "Not a penny less than three million dollars will make this right."
The boys' parents stayed silent, shooting icy glares at their sons. 'You got beaten badly by a girl? Disgraceful.'
Also, they understood their children. A girl doesn't lash out like that without a reason. Without knowing the full story, no one spoke up.
The boys, unable to meet their parents' eyes, offered no defense, shifting guiltily under their stares.
Only Arielle's parents were absent. Ultimately, these were minors; their legal guardians had to resolve the fallout.
Outside the office, news of Arielle's rampage spread like wildfire throughout the school. Within minutes, Arielle became the school's instant legend.
Naturally, the news reached Meredith. Since Meredith and Arielle weren't in the same class, she hadn't witnessed the fight firsthand.
"Gosh, Meredith! Arielle beat up the Peterborough Four in her class! They're all in the office now," someone said.
"Not just them! Some guys, too! What did I miss? Damn, Meredith, who the hell is your sister? A freaking maniac?"
Meredith smirked. 'What an idiot—first day of school and she's already caused such a mess. Perfect. Keep digging your grave, my dear Arielle.'
