"I've got an incredible opportunity for you, Young Alpha Ethan. All you need to do is invest fifty billion dollars, and I'll take care of the rest..."
"Ethan, my daughter has been such an admirer of yours. Would you honor us with your presence at dinner?"
Even Olivia was completely unraveling now.
"Ethan, if I hadn't pushed you earlier, would you have ever realized all this? I just wanted to prove how serious I am about us—love demands loyalty. We can start over if you're willing. After all… I'm still carrying your child."
Honestly, her greed knew no bounds. She'd grovel or strut—whatever served her best.
Clearly, she'd hit a new low in shamelessness.
But Ethan didn't even glance her way.
"Olivia, after what you just pulled, you really think I'd want anything to do with you? Keep dreaming. Rumor has it your family's crumbling. You're beneath me now. Once I take control of the Silverfang Pack, the first thing I'll do is devour what's left of your family."
Olivia's face twisted, her fists clenching as she forced a brittle smile. "But… I'm still pregnant with your pup."
"So? Get rid of it."
Ethan threw her own words back at her, a cruel smirk flashing across his face. With one last look of disgust, he turned to leave.
"Bet you didn't see that coming, huh? All these years, and you've got nothing to show for it. You preached loyalty, but look at you now. Pack your things and get out. Go rot with the strays."
My parents had been silently watching from the sidelines. At his words, they froze.
"Ethan… you're saying once you take over, you'll exile us all?"
"Damn right. You chose your real daughter over me. Don't blame me for cutting ties."
"You're worth billions, and you're offering us a pitiful five million? You're heartless!"
Ethan's eyes burned with arrogance as he glared down at everyone.
My parents stared at him for a long moment before nodding slowly.
"Fine. Thank you for showing your true colors. You've just severed the last thread holding this family together."
My father smirked, then signaled to the Elder of the Pack Alliance.
With precision, the Elder pulled out a notarized document.
My father's voice was steel. "Ethan, human nature always fails under pressure. I know that better than anyone. So before Elena became your mate, I had this document prepared. Stay loyal, and your inheritance stands. Betray her, and it's void."
"Ethan, you won't see a single cent of my fortune now."
Ethan's hands trembled as he flipped through the pages, muttering, "This can't be real." But the more he scrambled, the more panicked he looked.
The official Pack Alliance seal stared back at him—undeniable proof. Even his arrogance couldn't warp reality.
A cold sweat broke out on Ethan's forehead. "Mom… Dad, I'm sorry. I was just angry you favored her. Fine, I'll take the five million—"
"Too late."
My parents' voices were ice.
"You wanted Elena to have nothing. You even dared to threaten us with exile. Since you turned down the five million, now you get nothing."
Just moments ago, Ethan had been the golden boy, basking in admiration. Now, he stood alone in the hall, his presence crumbling.
He hesitated, reaching toward my mother.
But she didn't flinch. "Gamma, throw him out."
"No!"
Ethan jolted, desperation clawing at him. "Wait! Just one last question! Please!"
