After my wealthy parents finally brought me back into the family, their fake daughter, Jessica Montgomery, found out she was being kicked out. In a fit of rage, she jumped off a building.
My brother, Logan, didn't take his anger out on me—instead, he gave me a pet pig as a peace offering.
It wasn't until my eighteenth birthday, when I put on the custom necklace from my childhood friend Scott West, that I realized the horrifying truth.
I had been swapped with the pig.
I tried to prove my real identity, but no one listened. They threw me into the kitchen, butchered me, and turned me into roast suckling pig.
After I died, I saw my original body—alive and well—laughing as she feasted, sneering, "You really thought you could compete with me? Go die!"
And the worst part?
Logan and Scott cheered, "Jessica's finally back! All that acting paid off!"
Turns out, Jessica's suicide attempt had left her in a coma—her soul had taken over the pig's body. The whole thing was a setup to bring her back into the family.
When I realized the truth, I died from sheer rage. But when I opened my eyes again, I was back to the day Logan gave me that cursed pig.
This time? I wasn't playing nice.
I immediately sent the pig off to mate.
"Alexa, I've been swamped lately, so I thought Lulu could keep you company," Logan said, shoving a tiny pink pig—dressed in a frilly outfit—into my arms like it was some priceless gift.
Scott, my so-called childhood friend, smirked as he set down a pile of pet supplies. "Logan went through hell to get this pig for you. Better take good care of it."
I zoned out for a second, and Logan, mistaking my hesitation for shyness, tried forcing the pig on me. I recoiled, nearly stumbling back.
Logan instantly shielded the pig, barely glancing at me.
Scott huffed, "Seriously, Alexa? Logan was being nice, and you almost hurt Lulu! What's wrong with you?"
I rolled my eyes.
In my past life, after finally being accepted by my rich parents, I'd been desperate for their love.
But when Jessica found out she was being exiled, she threw herself off a building—ending up in a vegetative state.
Instead of blaming me, Logan "comforted" me with the pig I'd always wanted. I was so touched, I even cuddled it to sleep, hoping we'd bond.
Then it bit me—hard.
Not wanting to cause trouble, I quietly got my rabies shot. But when I came back, my room was destroyed.
Pillows shredded. Blankets soiled. New clothes torn to pieces. Even the family portrait on my nightstand was smashed.
The pig glared at me, its mouth twisted into a grotesque grin as it gnawed on a stuffed animal's head—like it was mocking me.
I screamed.
Logan rushed in, but he refused to believe me.
Scott gave me that you've-lost-it look. "Lulu's harmless. You probably trashed your own room sleepwalking and blamed her."
I tried to argue, but Logan cut me off, promising to get rid of the pig after my birthday.
But on my birthday, after Scott clasped that custom luxury necklace around my neck, he casually draped my old one around the pig's.
Logan's face darkened. "Where'd you learn to spout such nonsense? You've really disappointed me."
Scott was livid. "Alexa, Lulu's a baby, and you want to breed her? Are you insane?"
He threw his hands up. "And it's your fault for being careless with your things. Now you're blaming Lulu? You're acting like a total monster!"
