They say it has magic. A special power no one can understand. Maybe the elevator is just a hopeless romantic, but somehow every night at exactly; 11:00 pm, if soulmates get into the elevator and press the 25th floor, it will stop, and they will never come out the same.

"Ugh!" Rosie picked up her phone to check the time, "Damn, another late night! At this rate, I will get to bed at 1 am every night."
Although Rosie is new to the business and hasn't even met the CEO, she is the only person that works the hardest and the latest.
Rosie shuffled her papers, sorting them out and straightening them, "I better take these to his office." She sighed.
Getting up, she gathered all her things so after she placed her files on the CEO's desk she could go home.
"If he is not satisfied with these," Rosie whispered to herself.
She pressed the button to the 25th floor on the elevator, but before the doors closed, a tall man with dark brown hair and a dress shirt and office pants stopped it and got inside to stand right next to Rosie's side.
She noticed his tattoos all up his arm under the thin white shirt. Averting her innocent eyes, she looked back at the door and reminded herself she still had to go to church tomorrow.
Jungkook tried to keep his eyes on the elevator door too. He knew from her personal file he looked at before hiring her that she was Christian, a wrong move with his eyes, and she would be out of here in seconds.
Jungkook hasn't met her yet, but he's heard a lot about her from his assistant Taehyung. When Jungkook noticed her in the elevator, he noticed how much more beautiful she was in person, and he had to stop the elevator doors and enter.
A big squeaking sound stop the two from all their thoughts, as the whole elevator started shaking, making both of them lose balance.
Jungkooks back hit the side when the elevator tilted, and Rosie's chest hit his.
When it calmed down Rosie looked up to meet the stranger's eyes, "I- sorry." She whispered, well pushing herself off of him.
I didn't mind, "It wasn't your fault." He smiled brightly at her.
Rosie nodded and took another step further from him, "I guess we're stuck here, for a while?" She said awkwardly.
Jungkook pursed his lips, "What are you doing here so late?" He asked.
Rosie shrugged, "Bad habits, I guess?" she chuckled, "I have been staying up late at work since I got here."
Rosie froze for a second, and thought, "Why in the world am I opening up so much about myself to this random dude?! Heck, he's probably in a biker gang and is trying to kidnap me!" She looked over at Jungkook with a suspicious face.
Meanwhile, Jungkook was thinking about how he should give her a raise for her hard work. He wondered how cute she was, and how she opened up so easily.
"What do you do for a living?"
Her sudden question took him aback. He couldn't tell her.
"I- Uhm. Go to church." he smiled subtlety, thinking that was the most innocent answer. She looked pretty pure.
Rosie's face lit up in excitement, "Oh my! You're like a pastor or something? That's great! I need help with a few things, I have so many questions!" She grinned.
Jungkook filled with panic. HE DIDN'T KNOW SHE WAS A FUCKING CHRISTIAN!? "Now what, you dumbass?!" he wondered.
"Catholic!" He added, "I'm- a Catholic! Not Christian."
A small pout formed on her lips, "Oh, then I can't really talk to you. We work differently."
But wait! Rosie scanned him from head to toe. He did not look Catholic! From his almost see-through top to his tattoos. He couldn't be?
"But, you have tattoos?" She whispered in confusion.
"Damn, can you get any dumber Jeon?!" Jungkook wondered.
"Yeah, this was before I became Catholic." He answered with a cough.
"Ohhh, that makes sense!" Rosie sat down on the floor of the elevator, "So what do you guys do?"
She was genuinely curious. Rosie has only been told a few things about Catholics, so she didn't know much.
"We, Uhm." Jungkook thought about everything he learned from that one Christian camp he went to when he was 12. He couldn't lie to her though.
"We- we drink wine," He answered, "R-red wine- But don't drink too much, you get the worst headache the next day."
"We do something similar." She smiled up at him, causing him to sit down next to her.
"And- and bread!" He smiled, pleased with himself, "We have bread!"
Drugs could count as bread?
"Oh yes!" Rosie clapped her hand together, "What else?"
He thought for a moment, "Damn we have se- pray with God! Uhm yeah, we pray."
He turned to look over at Rosie, her eyes shone beautifully even in the bad lighting.
"Yeah! I take the girls home, and then we get down!" He grinned at the thought, "To the prayer of course."
Rosie nodded, "I've never heard of the expression 'get down' but I do love prayer! It makes me feel good."
Jungkook smirked, "Yeah, it feels sooooo good." he looked into her eyes, "Maybe you can come over to my house sometime to... pray?"
She nodded vigorously, "I would love to pray with you, but don't Catholics pray to Mary? Maybe it won't work then."
"Nahhh, I do things differently." He smiled at her, hoping she was seeing the word 'prayer' the same way he was. But he was wrong. What was he even doing to the pure girl?!
"How?" Rosie asked as she made a thinking face.
"Uhm, we-"
He was cut off by the sound of the elevator doors opening. The two looked up to see two of the electricians that worked for the company.
"Are you alright, Mr. Jeon?" The one asked.
Rosie turned to Jungkook, shocked. He was her boss?! As in, the CEO?!
She held back all her questions until they got out of the elevator. When they did, Rosie stared at an uncomfortable Jungkook with disappointment.
"I'm guessing you're not Catholic then?" She asked softly.
He tried not to make eye contact. There was something about her that made it feel like she had full control over him.
"I- no." He looked down at the ground.
"I'm guessing you don't really 'drink wine', and 'eat bread', or even 'pray' hm?" She kept trying to form some sort of eye contact, but he kept ignoring her.
"Jeon Jungkook," She whispered, "Do they stand for what I'm thinking they stand for?"
The whole innocent Rosie disappeared from his mind when he made eye contact with her. She even looked different.
"May-maybe?" He answered in the lowest voice.
"Hm?" Rosie stepped closer, making him even more scared, "How about you show me how you... pray?" She whispered.
His confidence rushed back within an instant, "Damn, I sure as hell would love-" He cut himself off when she glared, "Yes, I shall."
The two electricians stared at the couple leaving the building.
"Is it just me?" One of them asked, "Or every time we save people from this elevator at midnight, they always come out in love with each other?"
The other electrician shrugged, "Maybe they just become crazy?"
They took that as the answer and walked away to get a midnight snack.
And that is how no one can figure out why or how the elevator pretty much has a mind of its own.
