"Isn't his wedding an all-white one?" Lisa looked up from her phone, confused, and watched her best friend twirl around in her pink dress.
The dress was light pink, way over her knees, and had thin straps.
"Who cares?!" Rosie looked up with a grin.
Lisa put down her phone, "Ro, what are you talking about?! It's disrespectful!" She crossed her arms, "I know he's your ex, but have some respect for Jennie. You said yourself that you and Jennie are close."
"Yeah, we are close. So?! She wouldn't mind." Rosie tilted her head a little to the side with an emotionless smile.
Of course she would get close with her ex's new girlfriend. She was taught to keep her friends close, but enemies closer.
"Still, think about what you're doing! You and Tae broke up three years ago, and I think now I'm starting to see how it affected you."
Rosie quickly put up her acting face, "Are you saying I'll-" Rosie made a convincible sniff sound, "I'll let an old relationship get the best of me." She tried to hold in her fake tears.
"No, no, no." Lisa stood up and put her arm around Rosie's shoulder while rubbing her hand up and down, "You know I didn't mean it like that. It's just, don't let a man change you."
Rosie tried not to laugh. She had no more feelings left for Taehyung. In fact, their break-up slowly brought out the real her. When she first got diagnosed as a psychopath she was terrified and in denial, but a few months later, when they broke up, it helped bring out who she was inside, a psycho.
Might as well own it! Was what she thought every day.
Rosie sniffed again, "You know I'm not dumb, Lily." She looked up with a pout, "Jennie and I are really close, and I feel like people think I just got close to her to steal Taehyung back."
Lisa felt bad for bringing it up and pulled Rosie into a hug, "I'm sorry for being nosy, Ro. I'll watch what I say from now on."
What Lisa didn't notice, was Rosie smiling over her shoulder.
"Thank you." She managed to sound sad even though she was grinning like the joker.
Jennie hugged Rosie tightly, "Welcome!" when they separated, she looked Rosie up and down, "You did get the message that it was an all-white wedding, didn't you?
Rosie's eyes widened, "No! Was it?!" She covered her mouth, "I'm so sorry, someone told me I must wear pink."
She felt no sympathy that she was now going to be the main attraction.
"Who told you that?" Jennie's brows furrowed as she thought of all the people she invited to her wedding.
"Hey, Jen!" A tall man with dark brown hair approached the two women with a big smile.
Some part of Rosie could tell his was just as fake as hers.
"Jungkook!" Jennie wrapped her arms around him, and when she let go she looked at Rosie with a grin, "This is my ex, but we decided to stay friends. Tae doesn't like it, but you know me, I do what I want."
Rosie smiled at him and gave a subtle head bow.
"Nice to meet you," He held out his hand as he maintained his grin.
Rosie stared at him for a second. She could tell by the instant connection. He was way better at keeping his act up. Probably been doing it for longer.
"Yes," She shook his hand with a knowing grin.
He knew too. She could tell.
After Jungkook exclaimed his congrats and left, Jennie turned to face Rosie again. And asked, "So, who told you?"
Rosie felt like she wouldn't get past her. And so she blamed the most obvious person, "Jungkook."
Jennie's face began to drop, "Jungkook?" She whispered.
Rosie slowly nodded, "A week before the wedding he called me and asked if we could meet up, I asked who he was, and he only told me he was friends with you." Rosie sighed, "He told me the plans have changed and that you and Taehyung we're too busy to let me know."
She watched, amused, as Jennie's jaw tightened and looked in the direction Jungkook went.
I guess causing chaos is a psychopath's specialty. Why not turn in a psychopath for another?
Rosie sat down in her seat at the table she was assigned to. Even though everyone gave her second glances, she was already bored of the attention. She knew she was hot. The way her dress tightened around her slim figure made every man at the wedding look her up and down. She even noticed Jungkook do it when they met.
She began picking the dirt out her nails when she sat down, she wanted to go home, but that would ruin her plan.
She noticed a man's figure appeared and sat down next to her. And so she looked up, hoping it would be someone interesting.
It was indeed.
"Jungkook, was it?"
She knew Jennie didn't have the time to confront him until after the ceremony. The timing fits perfectly with her plan.
His head slowly turned to face her. Without a reply, he looked back at the arch, where Taehyung was standing.
"Rude!" She whispered under her breath.
The whole ceremony felt like she was traveling to the moon it was so boring. She just wanted to get her plan over and done with.
When they were about to cut the cake, she 'accidentally' bumped into Jennie with her back.
"Oh, sorry!" Rosie turned around to Jennie who got cake on her dress.
Jennie looked up at Rosie annoyed but took a deep breath in and said, "It's OK, Rosie. I'm sure you didn't mean it." She walked away to clean up.
Rosie walked back to her table, where Jungkook was watching everything, with a glass of champagne in his hand and a ghostly smile.
"You are so clumsy." He told her, not even paying a glance.
She was caught by surprise because he hasn't said a word since after they met.
"Oh, I happen to do that sometimes." She looked down at her lap to maintain the shy and clumsy character she decided to play.
His head turned to look at her straight in the eyes. He didn't say a word, but it was like she could read his mind. His slight glare said it all.
He knew her act.
When it was finally time to dance, Rosie drank down two glasses of champagne. She danced like a maniac, seductively. Almost the whole night she was just drinking and dancing. She knew Jennie was a good girl, and if her innocent family was watching this, it would ruin everything.
Every time she came back to the shared table with Jungkook for another glass of alcohol, his eyes just followed her every move. Her fifth time coming back, she decided to ask him to dance. With a guy as hot as him checking her out, why not?! She began walking over to him, but Taehyung stopped her and grabbed her arm.
"Yah! Tae!" Rosie helplessly watched as Taehyung dragged her outside of the big tent and into the cold night.
He harshly let go of her arm, "Leave! Now!"
She pouted, "Tae, but-"
"No 'but's' Roseanne!" He stretched out his arm and pointed to the tent, "You have made everyone uncomfortable. I might as just well say you ruined my wedding!"
She pursed her lips. She hopes the fuck she did ruin it!
"I don't know you anymore, Rosie. You have changed from when we were dating." He sighed and held the bridge of his nose, "I want you to go. Go and never come back. I never want to see you again or see you talking to my wife again!"
She couldn't take it anymore. The pain in her chest grew with every second. Finally, a bitter laugh escaped her cherry lips. She never thought holding in a laugh could hurt so much.
Taehyung stared at her disgusted.
"Wow, Tae. You crack me up!" She took a deep breath in and wiped a tear of laughter from her eye, "At the fact you think I care."
She held her small smile and stared into his eyes, which were full of fear and confusion.
"You are no longer the Rosie I knew," Taehyung swallowed, "I'm sorry for what you've become. Goodbye, Roseanne." He shook his head and walked away, leaving Rosie alone in the cold winter night breeze.
What she has become?! He knew nothing about her, yet he's acting as if he is her! She knew he would lash out and make the first move to cut her off. That was her plan. To cut everyone she knew off and make them hate her. Why: she didn't know.
Well, why not?
Rosie's smile turned into a grin, "Now for my baby Lily."
She headed for her car with a bouncy walk. Everything was going perfectly.
That is, until...
"Roseanne?"
Rosie turned around at the sound of her name, only to see Jungkook standing with his hands in his pockets.
"Ahhh, he talks again!" She licked her lips, causing his eyes to move from hers and watch her tongue slide along them, "I was beginning to wonder if you were mute." She said sarcastically but holding her seductive tone.
His eyes trailed back to connect their eye contact again. She got the shivers, knowing that he didn't seem to care if she knew, he knew, he was being seduced by her.
"We have an argument to work through." He answered.
She raised her eyebrows at him, "Oh?"
Rosie couldn't care less. She's not one for communication.
"I don't like working." She smiled brightly at him and turned around to where her car was parked.
"Roseanne." He yelled after her, "Rosie!"
Without a single response, Rosie got in her car. But when she closed the door he appeared at her window while panting.
"I see what Taehyung meant about you being High Maintenance!" He took in a deep breath and stared her dead in her eyes, "Why did you lie to Jennie about me telling you to wear pink?!"
Rosie tilted her head to the side a bit. She really didn't have time for this.
"Look, whatever your little drama plan is," His jaw tightened, "Leave me the fuck out of it!"
Rosie chuckled before starting her car, "Sorry, Jeon Jungkook. I do what I want, and if you're there to push under the bus, I'm gonna push you." She smiled cheekily and drove off, leaving him speechless.
Lisa has been friends with Rosie since they were nineteen. For seven years. She was there before Taehyung and after. Rosie couldn't care to keep her as a friend because she would be a burden to Lisa, and if anyone deserved the best, it was her best friend.
She wanted to leave Lisa with love. She was going to leave Lisa with love.
And so she wrote a letter. Instead of making a scene and causing an argument, she will leave silently.
And that's what she did.
The last person was Jisoo. Jisoo was Jennie's best friend, and Rosie would sometimes hang out with her. But she had to leave dramatically.
Rosie already managed to gain a new phone number. She even cut off her family. Before deleting her number and getting a new phone, she made plans with Jisoo first. Luckily Jisoo was sick and couldn't make it to the wedding. She knew nothing.
Rosie was on her phone waiting in the cafe for Jisoo to arrive when she noticed someone sitting down in front of her.
"Jisoo! You are so late!" Rosie looked up to see non-other than Jeon Jungkook himself.
"Can we talk somewhere out of the public eye?" He asked softly.
Rosie almost snorted, "Yes, a random man, I don't know, I will just follow! No, thank you." She waved her hand and looked back down at her phone.
He leaned in, "Sweetie, I just need to confirm something."
She looked up from her phone with only her eyes. Now she knew what he was talking about. And so she agreed.
"You still haven't told me why you used me." He glared straight at her.
Well, this was not what she was thinking, but it's drama, so why not? She leaned her back against the wall.
"Why? Do you miss your ex, that is now married, but you still love her?" She asked sarcastically.
Jungkooks tongue popped from his cheeks, and a smirk was tugging at his lips, "Thanks to you, Jennie cut me off." He took a step closer, trapping Rosie between him and the wall, "Thanks to you, I can't finish my plan."
She knew it. There was a connection between them!
"Psycho," She tilted her head up, "My plan was enough amusement."
His smirk finally appeared, "Fuck you. You're turning me on, Roseanne."
She licked her lips to tease him more, "What are you going to do about it?" She whispered.
As expected, he crashed his lips on hers, pinning her head against the wall. She had read somewhere that a psychopath is attracted to another psychopath. And here they were. Two psychopaths kissing when they have only met twice, but feels like they have known each other since they were born.
He pulled away from the kiss and stared into her eyes, "What's the other half of your plan?"
She giggled, "Why?"
"I don't know what this is, but something inside me is saying we will be together for a long time." He whispered before cupping her face, "Where are we going?"
"Australia."
