                    William's POV
"I want the final reports from Finland and set my jet for tomorrow I leave at noon" I said sternly to Barwick my errand man.
"Yes Your Majesty" he said bowing and I nodded my head leaving the room
"Your Majesty the Queen wishes to converse with you" a servant said with their head down.
"Where is she?" I asked
"In the Rose Bush" the servant finished off leaving
I was stressed . I still wanted to go and find Oliver but she'd probably moved on now and with my mother giving rule that I had to leave the palace with a written concent from her life wasnt easy the past three years.
I couldn't even track her until this year. My year of reign the year I had stood up to the former Queen until she granted me permission to do whatever I wanted to do with my love life. But I wasnt sure if I should look for Oliver . Again what if she had moved on.
Apart from that being King was a huge task for me. I had to organise things, ensure peace , take charge of cities , towns , the entire country . Earn respect, use appropriate language, wear a heavy crown and as a reward I didnt have privacy anymore.
Everywhere i tried to go the media invaded my private space .
I walked into the Rose Bush . My mother had chairs organised in the middle of the path where she was having tea on a round table .
"I heard your request" I said standing
"You may sit" she offered pouring tea in a cup accross me "...have some tea" she continued
"Why do you wish to see me?" I asked sipping the tea
"We need to discuss about life"
"Discuss about life?"
"Yes I think it's time you settl..." before she completed a car sprinted into the royal premises . I didnt need to second guess. Henry was here.
"It seems your cousin has decided to grace us with his presence" my mother sneered
We both sat in silence. And just a few minutes later.
Walking calmly into the Rose Bush with a servant behind him pointing towards us Henry walked over to us.
"We need to talk" he said steadily looking at me.
"I see, you have lost your etiquette" my mother stated
"That I have not" he smiled picking up her hands kissing her palms "The beautiful Queen Cleopatra my aunt. Ma'am" he said charmingly flashing a smile pronouncing Ma'am as jam.
"I see why they write about you in every newspaper and magazine there is in England"
"May I ask why?" He asked with a trace of unspoken amusement
"You are a charmer" the Queen stated.
"William we need to talk"
"So you keep saying" I curtly replied
"Aunt what have you been feeding him? he's becoming more grumpier"
"It comes from being lonely" she commented
"I think it is time he started looking for a queen what do you say?"
"I say I support you" the queen smiled ignoring my glare
"I thought you said we need to talk"
"We do" he said seriously
"Mother I will return soon as you can see I'm needed" I said excusing myself happy that Henry had rescued me from my mother's lecture.
"Do return" she added impatiently as I stood and followed my cousin.
*****"I met a woman this morning" Henry said once we'd entered my office.
"Is that why you need to talk to me?" I asked
"She was very beautiful"
"I do not recall us being close to an extent where we talk about women" I simply stated.
"Very beautiful I almost lost my breathe who am I kidding I did" he continued
"You are annoying me!" I said angrily
"Her eyes so blue her hair was brown . Have I told you how beautiful she was"
He continued describing
"Her body so lean and her hips average, when she turned, her behind was so mouth watering"
I ignored him as I sat down . This was going to be a long afternoon.
"Her breasts , again she was ten times prettier than any woman I have ever seen" he repeated.
"If that is all you have to say I will see myself out" I stood up
"Her name was Oliver Wallace"
I deadpanned . Stared at him. Sat down.
"Are you jealous?" He asked smiling
He had been describing Oliver all this while commenting her body. I was not going to react . Atleast not yet.
"No" I gruffed "Who told you about her ?" I rudely asked .
"I have my ways" he smiled
"Stay out of my private life!" I gritted and was about to leave when he spoke.
"You need to speak to her" he said seriously.
"I'm not sure she'd want that I'm sure she's moved on"
"She hasn't, does that give you hope?"
My heart leaped in my chest.
"I dont know" I replied slowly.
"She's one hell of a spitfire though" he commented standing up "You need to speak to her and I'll make sure that happens if it's the last thing I do"
"I'm not sure she would want that you forgot the part where I left her"
"That was beyond your control" he defended on my behalf
"That is no excuse Henry I owed her an explanation for my disappearance "
"Then speak to her"
"She does not even know my name"
"There's another thing about her that you do not know which could change your life"
"What?" I asked baffled
"That is not my story to tell"
"How did you find her ?" I asked
"I pulled a string or two" he said cockily and I knew he was lying
"Speak the truth" I commanded
"I'm friends with her family" he smiled
"Are you seriously opting to lie to me? I'm not sure you would like the consequences of lying to me Henry"
"Her cousin and I are" he paused as if to think of a suitable title " ...friends" he continued.
"Where is she?" I finally asked
"By now I think she's already left for Seattle" he replied nervously
"Why?" I demanded to know
"We had an arguement"
"About?"
"Stop interrogating me , look for your woman and solve things on your own, stop asking me too many questions"
"I'll ask again. About? "
"I cant tell you you'll get upset" he confessed
"I'm old enough to control my emotions"
"She doesnt want to see you" he finally said
"Continue"
"She said she doesnt want to patch up things with you and I tri..."
"Shh" I gestured to him with a half smile"Call Sir Barwick for me" I said to him and immediately he stood up leaving the room.
I was shocked, dazed , she didnt want to see me? Why?Dont answer that I knew why.
Few minutes later Barwick walked in with Henry
"Barwick reschedule my trip tomorrow tell the pilot to cancel the destination to Finland and replace it with Seattle"
And Henry stared at me.
"Yes Your Majesty" he bowed leaving the room.
"Close your mouth I can see your brain from here" I said facing Henry
"You're seriously going to go to see her ?" He asked shaking his head as if to return to reality.
"Do I even have a choice?" I asked
"I guess not" he replied smiling
