"Your mother is the nicest Queen I have ever met"
"She is the only Queen you have ever met and I apologise but did you just put my mother and nice in the same sentence?" He asked
"You're not believing me why?" I asked with a small smile
You might be wondering why I'm talking to William but...
Apparently Queen Cleopatra took my son away to have some alone time with him. Odd I know. And William kept following me like he didn't have a kingdom to rule.
Besides I was going to talk to him eventually.
"Tell me something" I asked "Am I really beautiful" I had to clarify I mean the Queen said I was impeccably beautiful yes I remembered her words.
He gazed at me as his upper lip lifted.
"You're..." he walked closer as if to finish his sentence pulling me forward and I looked up ignoring his intimidating height. Gosh his eyes "Gorgeous, beautiful" he said and just as I was about to knee him where the sun doesnt shine .
He wrapped his arms around me. Embracing me in a warm comforting hug and dang it I missed being in his arms.
But I froze wide eyed.
Why was he hugging me?
"I missed you" , he confessed kissing my hair and the small gesture warmed my heart.
But my hatred for him overtook me and I pushed him away as if he had been burning me.
"Back off" I whispered holding my breathe.
"Do not fight this do not fight me" he said holding my hand.
"I don't want this" I lied
"I am sorry Oliver I am sorry for leaving you" he said with a raw emotion and I felt so angry this man thought he could just say sorry and move on with me.
I had never felt this angry with anyone before so I did it . I connected my hand with his cheek.
"Stay away from me!" I screamed, he looked sideways then he bored his gaze into my own.
"I guess I deserve that" he said softly
"Stay away from me King William!" I commanded walking away from the back porch to God knows where.

"I saw you slapping him yesterday" The Queen smiled "...which Is why i sent him off with Louis we need to talk"
Was she going to slap me back for physically assaulting her son?
"I shan't harm you goodness I thought we were past that stage"
And I smiled.
"I have always wanted to have a daughter-in-law" she said holding my hand leading us upstairs and i took note of the walls that were decorated with ancient paintings.
The ceiling was very high like no building I'd ever seen before.
"Originally I wanted William to marry someone with social sentimental value but now I am glad he declined my offer"
So he had refused to get married. Why?
"When I first heard about your little fling with my son I was deranged" she paused opening a door to an enormous room.
It had a bookshelf in the corner and looked empty except for the square expensively furnished table in the middle. With wooden chairs to add life to it.
The floor was wooden which shocked me considering how it shined.
"Sit" she offered and I did take a seat" ...I usually come here to think" she said.
And silence suffused the room.
"You must be wondering why we need to talk " she broke off the silence.
"Yes" I gulped.
"You need grooming" she said and that got to me "...if you are going to be Queen you need it and seeing you you need lots of it"
Why did she have to be so blunt?
"I don't want to be Queen" I confessed worriedly l.
"Sweetheart I know William did you wrong and his actions are not justified but we live to move I have seen how you look at him and I am not a fool"
She walked towards me. Did I mention that to this point she still hadn't taken a seat.
"You love him but you are blinded by hate and you will digest that overtime just do not take too long I do not want to die before I see my eldest child's wedding."
"I don't love him" I sternly replied I mean did I? I only liked him in the past that is.
"You need time and air that is all . Meanwhile I need to start off by showing you how one who is royal must dress. Your step is okay but far from elegant you walk like a civilian and your language" she scoffed " You need serious language lessons it is not lady like to cuss you can only do it when my son is showing you the stars in bed"
And I turned pink at an instant.
"You are a shy one are you not?" She formally asked and my eyes fell to my feet.
"Do not be shy . I already know my son has done it with you and even if you had not told me Louis is enough proof"
Oh God she had to stop. I was full on being red.
"But this is not why we are here but we will discuss about that. I have strict regulations regarding how much noise you are permitted to make at all times " and that was it I covered my face.
"I have to admit you guys make a great combination Louis is too handsome for his age" and my ears turned pink , I felt it.
"Eventually you will learn to be free with me" she said and finally I removed my hands from my face.
"Your grooming begins this afternoon and I advise you take a bath before we begin"
Was I smelling? I was sure I took a shower this morning. My face fell.
"You do not smell bad it is just necessary to take one considering all the activities we have ahead of us"
She said after seeing my facial expression.
"I expect to see you in thirty minutes from now" she ordered and left.
Bossy much? But it was expected considering that she had once fully ruled and was still partly ruling the United Kingdom.
*****I walked to the Queen with a beating heart. The woman still frightened me. And frankly it wasnt my fault that she did , blame William he brought me here after all.
I had forgotten my way back to her weird 'thinking room'. What? She said she goes there to think , and its not my fault I had to name the room.
"You are loitering" her voice made me jump.
"I was not loitering I was lost" I defended
"Follow me" she said ignoring what I had said.
"My daughter is arriving a few minutes from now she desires to meet you and join in on our grooming"
I was about to ask her the cliche question 'you have a daughter?' when suddenly it rang a bell William had mentioned it once and despite that the question would have sounded stupid.
"Your daughter ,the Princess?" I asked instead.
"No the maid" she retorted "...What do you think?" She said looking at me with a dull expression.
"I'm sorry"
"And I was being sarcastic, I am a Queen not a robot" she smiled.
God this woman was so confusing.
"Where did you buy your dress?" She asked.
"..." I was blank did she just ask that?
"Shall I repeat my question?" She raised an eyebrow.
"A store" I finally answered
"Which store, be specific"
"I dont remember i just know it was some local store and the dress was on promotion"
"A Queen only wears custom made clothes , rare editions and clothing gifts from loved ones nothing else" she stated icily.
"Your shoes look like they are about to break God why didn't William bring you sooner this is a catastrophe" she exclaimed.
Then suddenly...
"Your Highness" a male servant called and the Queen looked at him "The Princess has arrived"
My stomach boiled. The Queen was a heavy toll what more the Princess you're all familiar with the saying 'like mother like daughter' Aren't you ?
Apart from that meeting new people is always nerve wrecking. The thought of the two possibilities killed me , either she was going to hate me or not hate me too much I wouldn't mention the word like nothing good ever came from Royal people . William had taught me that.
"They delayed me by a minute and I had the pilot fired"i guessed right...the Princess entered complaining.
"Mother!" She squeaked and embraced the Queen in a hug that was not a hug if you get what I'm saying .
"Can you believe one of the Royal pilots delayed me" she squirmed. And I took note of her features. The Princess had a small nose the size of a button and her eyes were grey. She was beautiful with a capital B and her body was the shape of a model.
Her hair was a beautiful blonde that shined like honey in the sun I assumed , she was 5'7. A fresh smell traced her presence and her tiny hands were blessed with slim beautiful fingers . In short she was:
Perfect.
"Relax you are here now" the Queen smiled .
"Who might you be?" She asked me delighted.
I have a question. Is the Royal family mental or what? Were they all suffering bipolar disorder this wasn't adding up this girl was supposed to be a brat but here she was smiling as if she'd met me before, looking ready to hug me.
"I'm..."
"Oliver Wallace" the Queen answered "William's wife-to-be" and I felt like strangling her .
"William?" She questioned rhetorically "The im-not-ever-getting-married William, my brother?" She sounded so confused.
"Yes they even have a child together he will be back with William at dawn they left at sunrise" and I looked at my feet this wasnt the best conversation after all.
"I have a niece!? I cant believe William was so secretive about this"
"Nephew sweetheart"
"I'm still going to kick William when I see him"
"You're pretty" she commented " like really pretty . I can not believe William has good taste" she laughed at the last part .
"Eleanor this is not why you are here I called you here to help groom the Queen-to-be"
So her name was Eleanor. So classic.
"My speciality" she smiled
"Then I guess let us begin" the Queen spoke formally.
