"I missed you so much, Draken." The girl chirped as she hugged him even more tightly and Draken made no move to push her off of him.
The girl seemed to notice another presence and she found Aurora standing there. The girl's brows furrowed as she broke the hug.
"Who is this?" She asked while pointing at Aurora and Aurora stiffened.
Would Draken get mad that she came to check who it was?
"Aurora," Draken said as he slowly turned around to face her.
"My mate," his voice came out deeper and the girl's eyes widened in shock.
"What?" She turned to look at Draken who stood there emotionless.
Aurora felt as if she was disturbing them and she wasn't supposed to be there. But if this girl was his lover she wasn't expecting him to introduce her as his mate.
"B..but. How? Why?" The girl blabbered sadly. Her face had fallen as soon as he told her about Aurora.
"Draken, but..." She seemed to be angry.
Aurora may be naive but it was obvious that this girl has some relationship with Draken and that thought alone stirred her heart in pain.
She quietly padded out of there and went to her room. Closing the door shut, she locked it. Her appetite was gone.
She sat on the settee near the window and stared out, gazing at the woods. She didn't want to think about it but it hurts to even know that he had a girlfriend.
She was never romantically involved with anyone and it was sad because she wanted to fall in love only with her mate and now here she sat, depressed.
She didn't leave her room until it was evening. She came out of her room only to find that he wasn't in the mansion, luckily.
She grabbed some snacks from the kitchen and decided to watch something on TV. To her luck, he had a Netflix account. She started watching some action series while munching on the snacks.
After two hours, she was fast asleep on the couch.
She felt as if someone just caressed her cheek and it was tickling. She grabbed the thing that came into her hands hugging it and she shifted, trying to find a comfortable position.
A grunt was heard and her ears perked up even before her eyes opened. She inhaled lightly and her eyes shot open wide.
Her ocean gaze met with the darkest shade of onyx hues and she forgot to breathe. He was crouching down on the floor. His face was so close to her that she could feel his hot breath.
Her heart stuttered in fear. What was he doing so close to her when she was sleeping? She was stupid to doze off like that in the lounge knowing that he could walk in on her any minute.
"F*ck," He cussed and she flinched. She was scared but no words formed on her lips.
She noticed where he was looking and she followed his gaze. Her eyes widened to the size of saucers as she realized that she was hugging his hand to her chest and his big veiny hand was snuggled between her soft breasts.
Her mouth opened as she screamed to the top of her lungs pushing his hand away and jolting a couple of times while mimicking a fish out of the water on the sofa.
A large hand was placed on her mouth and she was forced to shut up.
"Stop screaming," He grumbled. She grabbed his wrist and tried to pry his hand from her mouth but his grip was unmoving.
She nodded her head so he would remove his hand. He narrowed his eyes at her in a warning and slowly withdrew his hand. She breathed in sharply.
"You pervert," She screeched trying to get off the settee but he grabbed her arm and made her lay back on the sofa as he hovered over with one of his knees near her hip.
"What the f*ck," He grumbled and her chin wobbled.
"Get off me," She demanded and he narrowed his eyes on her again.
"I didn't do anything. It was you who grabbed my hand," He gritted out and she glared at him with her glossy eyes.
"Y..you could've s...snatched your hand," She said and he just glared at her.
"Let go of me," She struggled in his hold as he kept her down.
Their position wasn't appealing at all. It was scaring her. And the way he was glaring at her, he seemed pissed that she called him a pervert.
"Y...your g...girlfriend might be w...waiting for you. Leave me alone," She stuttered hoping that he would move back.
His thick brows knitted in confusion as he gazed at her dumbfounded.
"I don't have a girlfriend," He muttered, confused.
"You don't have to p...pretend. You can do w...whatever you want. I...I.. don't care. Just let go of me," She said while looking at the ceiling and avoiding his gaze.
"Her name is Echo and she is not my girlfriend," He said calmly, knowing what his little mate was thinking.
"I d...don't care. J...just let go of me," She started to struggle wildly, and knowing that she would only hurt herself in the end, he let her go.
She abruptly got off the settee and scurried three steps away from him. Her big ocean eyes gazed at him as if he was a predator who would kill her.
"I'm hungry," He said.
She didn't reply to him and just opted to walk past him so she could hide in her room. She so badly wanted to see Charlotte right now so she could feel sane and relaxed because Alpha of the North pack was beyond her understanding.
She recalled his hand on her chest and she flushed. How embarrassing.
She gasped when he circled her arm and pulled her back in front of him.
"I said I'm hungry," He grumbled. She was scared but also annoyed at him.
"Then c...cook for y...yourself," She said the obvious and his brow shot up.
"You will cook for me," He said calmly and this time it was her who looked surprised.
"I'm n...not your maid," She said with confidence. Though she was scared of him and he wasn't letting go of her arm which was also scary.
The thing that terrifies her the most was that she couldn't free herself from his grips no matter how much she tried and she only got free when he decided to let her go. This scary fact explains that she needs training and some safety tricks ASAP.
Then she would show him that she was also strong just like her brothers and he should not mess with her.
"Says, who?" He asked coldly as she tried to free her arm but to no avail.
"Me," She said adamantly and noticed how his grip on her was tightening to a hurting level.
"I'm not your maid. I will n...not cook for you," She said with mustered up courage as she kept her gaze focused on his Adam apple because his dark eyes intimidate her.
"Very disobedient," He growled lowly and started to drag her into the kitchen.
Now he would force her to cook for him? He could ask her nicely but no.
She won't cook for him. He can go to hell for all she cares. He can scare her all he wants, she'll stay strong and won't cook for him.
The girl seemed to notice another presence and she found Aurora standing there. The girl's brows furrowed as she broke the hug.
