Aurora slowly sank to the floor. But the chains were small so her wrist was still in the air hanging with the support of the restraints.
Her shoulders slumped as she looked around hazily. She blinked to get rid of the tears. Crusty walls which smelt like blood. It made her feel sick to the stomach.
She blinked at the wall where several torturing weapons were hanging like a canvas of death. He was about to use one of them on her.
Her mate.
Bitter tears blurred her vision again and she let her tears fall.
No one has ever yelled at her back in her pack. Her father raised her like a princess. Her brothers were like her Knights in shining armor. She was protected from this cruel world.
And now here she was in the dungeons. The one who put her in this place was none other than her mate.
Her chin quivered no matter how much she tried to not cry but it was not in her control anymore.
Pulling her knees to her chest, she hid her face and wept like a child.
She didn't even do anything. How could he be so cruel to her?
Echo must've tampered with her phone and done all this. How could Draken not believe her? His mate.
Aurora couldn't help but hug herself tighter. She wasn't a strong woman like Cath, Sarah, or her mom. She was weak, timid, shy, and stupid. She wanted to lay her head on her mom's lap and cry her heart out. She wanted to complain to her brothers about Draken so they could beat some sense into him.
She had never felt such fear in her life. That livid look in his eyes had rattled her soul in terror.
The way his hand wrapped around her throat ready to squeeze the life out of her.
She sniffed and flinched badly when the door opened. She hugged herself more tightly, hiding her face. Hoping that he would leave her alone. She has no energy to even face him. She felt so drained. Tired.
She was never manhandled before. No one has ever touched her. She was so delicate just like a flower and he was so barbaric to her.
She wished she was as strong as him so she could punch him so hard that his jaw would break and then he would know not to touch her with rough hands.
"Look at you," a sharp voice mused and Aurora's head snapped up. Her eyes widened when she found Echo standing there smirking.
Aurora wiped her tears as she stood up slowly with the help of the wall.
"It was you," Aurora said coldly and Echo let out a sinister chuckle.
"The irony is your phone wasn't even password protected." Echo smiled.
"Why did you do this? Your scent wasn't there on my phone," Aurora said.
"I told you Draken is mine. I just want him to get rid of you soon." Echo mused.
"And for the scent. I've learned a trick or two from my witch friend and one of them is masking my scent and adapting someone else's scent." Echo said in his high-pitched tone.
Aurora had heard of such a trick from Agatha.
"I told you you can keep Draken but it's not my fault if he didn't want to be kept by you," Aurora said calmly. She noticed how Echo walked towards the wall where the equipment hung.
Her heartbeat quickened as Echo grabbed a small pocket knife from there and walked up to Aurora. Aurora tried to free her arm but it was of no use.
"You have a very sharp tongue, shall I cut it off?" Echo asked as she stopped right in front of Aurora who inhaled sharply. She clenched her jaw and it hurt. His hold has left bruises.
"He would know that you did all this," Aurora said calmly but her heart was thumping at a wild pace.
"But you won't be alive by then to tell him," Echo sneered.
Echo stepped closer as Aurora's back pressed against the cold wall. She flinched when Echo placed the edge of the sharp knife on her cheek and caressed it.
It burnt like hell. She had never come in contact with silver before.
"I want to ruin your face," Echo hissed as the knife rested on Aurora's neck as she applied pressure, piercing her skin slightly.
It hurts but Aurora didn't cry out, she bit her lower lip hard to bear the pain. as she tasted metallic blood in her mouth She didn't want to give her the satisfaction of seeing her in pain.
"I want to kill you, bitch." Echo sneered but then she slid the knife down before placing it on Aurora's stomach.
Echo stepped so close to Aurora that her body touched hers. Echo inched closer as she grabbed Aurora's hair and yanked at them pulling her head back and making her neck visible. Her tongue darted out as she licked the blood on her neck.
Aurora's free hand shot up as she pushed her away with force. She felt sick to her stomach.
"What are you doing?" Aurora screeched as she pressed her fist to her chest.
"You are such a beautiful, bitch." Echo hissed and Aurora's stomach churned in anxiety by the way Aurora looked at her with a weird look on her face.
Echo lunged down as she grabbed Aurora's foot and plunged the knife into her foot making Aurora scream out in agony. Echo stood up as she pressed the knife into Aurora's throat. "Don't move," Echo warned her coldly as her free hand touched Aurora unabashed.
"Stop," Aurora cried out. She was being harassed.
The knife dug in her flesh as she felt Echo's lips on her neck. She felt repugnant. She couldn't even feel her foot which was bleeding profusely.
"Move away from me!" Aurora screamed only for Echo to dig the knife into the side of her stomach making her cry out in pain.
Tears fell out of Aurora's eyes and raw pain consumed her. Black dots appeared in front of her vision but a zap of painful energy engulfed her soul and her body as the pain intensified ten folds.
A surge of power washed over her as the claws of her free hands extended and she clawed at Echo with everything she got. Echo let out a painful scream as she collided with the wall to their left and groaned out in pain.
Aurora's whole body was shivering. Her legs gave under her as she dropped to her knees. Her head swirled but the feeling of a presence inside her was so potent.
She felt her wolf for the first time.
"You bitch!" Echo yelled as she came forward ready to lunge the knife at Aurora when someone grabbed her wrist and then shrill screams of pain and the noise of bone-crushing echoed in the dungeon.
Echo fell to her knees holding her broken wrist as she wailed. A warrior grabbed Echo and dragged her out of there.
Eren stood near the door but Aurora's eyes were fixed on the beast of a man hovering over her.
Her body gave up on her as the pain became unbearable. Her eyes fluttered close and before she could fall on the floor face first, she felt all those familiar sparks as strong arms wrapped around her delicate frame.
Her shoulders slumped as she looked around hazily. She blinked to get rid of the tears. Crusty walls which smelt like blood. It made her feel sick to the stomach.
