They returned to the pack. Draken had asked her to get ready as from today her training was starting. She was nervous and excited at the same time.
She got ready and strutted to the lounge. Instead of taking her to the packhouse or the training grounds, he guided her to his training room in the basement of their mansion. It was half gym and half place was empty for sparring. Where she was looking at the place, his dark hues were roving over her small delicate form.
She was clad in a black sports bra and a pair of black leggings. Her hair was up in a ponytail and she looked drop-dead sexy.
Finding his gaze on her she turned to look at him as he cleared his throat.
"We'll start with a warm-up, 20 laps for now," He said in his strict voice and she gulped, bobbing her head as she got to work.
Draken peeled off his shirt as she started doing push-ups in the middle. Her eyes flickered to his back as his muscles flexed and that tattoo of a dragon got her attention. She instantly looked away and focused on the warm-up when he glanced her way.
Once done with the laps Draken gave her a briefing on a few techniques. He showed the tricks on the iPad as two opponents were sparring. He explained to her the details.
"Now, I'll be attacking you and I want you to defend yourself by all means," he said and her eyes broadened.
He didn't even teach her anything and he was ready to attack her. How in the world could she dodge him?
"B..but..." She stuttered and before she had the chance to react he launched himself at her. He stopped when she just stood there frozen gaping at him with a blanched face.
He grabbed her jaw, four fingers on one cheek and thumb on the other as he made her look at him smoothly. "Move, Aurora. Don't just freeze there. Move, run, dodge. Do whatever you can to save yourself. Be present." He growled lowly and she gulped.
Her tongue slipped out as she licked her chapped lips. His hawk-like eyes noticed the movement. She nodded her head and stepped back. Adrenaline pumped through her body as she noticed him taking two steps back. His body seemed relaxed and within a second he launched at her again. His arm extended to throw a punch. She feigned turning right only to roll under his leg and stepped away from him.
She tried to be as fast as she could and she could tell he was being lenient on her because he was deliberately being slow. She has seen her brothers sparing. She knows the strength of an Alpha and right now he was not even using ten percent of his speed and power.
"That was very good," He complimented and her heart drummed in joy.
"But you could be faster," he pointed out and lunged again. She tried to do the same trick again but the very next second she was on the floor with him locking her wrists on her belly as he locked her hips between his knees, straddling her.
"Same trick against your opponent would get you killed instantly. Keep that in mind," He grumbled and she instantly bobbed her head, squirming to get free.
Draken watched as her chest heaved. Her skin was shining with sweat.
He leaned in closer and her pupils dilated in surprise. She watched him with bated breath as they gazed at each other. His eyes lingered on her lips and it was obvious there was a battle going on within himself as he moved back and got off her.
She breathed shakily as he forward his hand. She grabbed his hand as he hauled her up to her feet.
"I want you to attack me just as I did earlier," He said and she nodded her head. Taking in her position, she launched at him exactly how he had done before but he was fast.
In a blink, he dodged her attack.
"Don't stop. Keep attacking me," He commanded and she did exactly what he said. She tried her very best to throw at least a single punch at him but she wasn't even able to touch him for a second.
"Alright, that's it for today." He said. Exhausted she crouched down on the floor before laying back down as her arms rested limply on her sides.
She was drained. Tired.
Draken wiped his sweat with a hand towel as he tossed another towel at her.
She didn't even touch it. She was so exhausted.
"Are you tired?" He asked standing beside her as he peered down at her.
"Tired? No. I'm elated," She breathed and he let out a deep throaty chuckle.
"You'll be fine within a week. Your stamina will build up slowly," He said as he moved his hand.
She groggily placed her small hand in his as he yanked her up to her feet making her collide with his chest as she gasped.
Grabbing her chin he pulled her closer before kissing her gently. He let go as she stood back at the balls of her feet blinking at him.
What was with so many kisses? It wasn't that she complained but his kisses made her heart all mushy.
"What would you make for dinner?" He asked and she gulped before clearing her throat.
"Whatever you want," She murmured, lowering her gaze.
"What about you then? Can I eat you tonight?" He queried and she looked at him with a breakneck speed with broadened eyes and parted lips.
"Steak. I'd like to eat steak," He said as he walked out of there leaving her behind all muddled.
Aurora breathed in deeply as she contemplated. She was sure she heard him saying something like eating her. She shuddered as goosebumps rose on her flesh.
And her naive witty wolf put those sinful images in her head making her flushed at such thoughts.
Draken showered and left. Walking into the warehouse he was greeted by the bloody sight of Jonathan.
He has healed a little bit and seemed pretty much alive. Draken grabbed the small silver knife from the table and walked up to him.
His men watched in silence as Draken carved Jonathan's skin with a silver knife. His cries echoed in the empty place and it was like music to Draken.
