They both were surprised by his sudden presence as Emma passed him a small smile.
"Draken, do you like my daughter except for the mate bond?" Emma asked him directly and Aurora gaped at her mom in silence.
"I do, ma'am," Draken said confidently and Aurora's eyes whipped in his direction. Completely surprised.
Emma noticed the glint in his eyes and she knew he wasn't lying.
"Would you like to marry my daughter?" Emma asked.
"I would love to, ma'am." He replied and Aurora was stunned to say anything. She gaped at her mate with big wide eyes.
Emma grinned at him as she gently patted his arm. "You can call me Emma or Mom. Whatever you like," Emma beamed at him.
"Sure, Emma," Draken said with a small smile.
"We had to leave tomorrow afternoon. So if you can arrange everything by morning, I'll be thankful." Draken said and Aurora blinked at him surprised.
What has gotten into him?
"I will. Thank you for agreeing," Emma said genuinely happy.
"Please, don't be," Draken said gently as Emma beamed at them.
With a smile, Emma walked away as Draken turned to face the stunned-looking Aurora.
Grabbing her hand he walked inside the room. Closing the door shut, he locked it.
He pressed her back against the door before lowering his head and claiming her lips in a passionate kiss.
She jolted in surprise at the ferocity of his kiss. Slowly her arms looped around his neck and she responded. He wrapped his arm around her waist pulling her closer to his chest as he kissed her passionately. Her toes were barely touching the ground as they were drowned in the kiss.
He broke the kiss when she needed a breather. She panted heavily as he kissed her jaw and neck. His feathery lips trailed down her neck and lingered on her mark making it tingle.
She gasped when he gave an open-mouthed kiss on her mark, her whole body trembled.
"D...Draken," she whispered in a mewl and he finally stopped. Placing his head against her forehead, they breathed in deeply.
He needs to calm down.
Moving away from her he breathed in sharply as she gazed at the floor fidgeting with her fingers. Her cheeks blushed red.
Aurora walked to the duffle she packed for them and handed him his night clothes. He was surprised but thankful nonetheless. He took the clothes and stepped into the restroom.
Aurora changed into her night clothes before laying on the couch. Both of them couldn't fit in her single bed. She could easily sleep on the couch and he could take the bed.
Draken stepped out and found her lying on the couch. He walked to the bed and sat on it.
"Aurora," he called her as she looked at him.
"Come here," He tilted his head and she gulped before getting up, she walked up to him.
Grabbing her hand he yanked her closer as her hands landed on his shoulders and she stood between his legs. His veiny hands rested on her hips.
"You'll be sleeping with me," He said looking up at her with his intense eyes making her gulp.
"Bed is too small," She mumbled, innocently.
"Doesn't matter," He murmured as his hot breath hit her. His face was so close to her bosoms as they heaved up and down with each of her breaths.
Before she could say anything else, he lay down and yanked her on top of him. She gasped, half on the bed and half on him as he hugged her tightly to him.
"We fit perfectly," He murmured, giving a gentle squeeze to her rear and she shivered in his hold.
"I want to ask you something?" He said and she looked up at him, resting her palm on his chest.
"Are you willing to marry me?" He queried and her heart stuttered in her chest.
He likes her. His words echoed in her head.
"Yes," She mumbled softly and he kissed her forehead gently.
"Thank you, princess." He mumbled as her heart warmed up.
Draken drifted off to sleep as she stayed up in his arms thinking about them. She had never thought he would agree to marry her. But it was evident he was considering Emma's feelings. She felt giddy while recalling how he admitted to her mom that she liked him because deep down she had started to fall in love with her .
The next morning, Emma had done all the preparations as she gave them the bride and groom's clothes which she had ordered last night. Aurora was taken to Angela's room where the beauticians did their work on her.
No one was invited so it was just a small cozy family function.
The priest was in the lounge along with everyone as Xander ascended the stairs with a gorgeous-looking Aurora.
She was wearing a beautiful flowy white gown, looking just like a princess.
Draken held his breath as he couldn't take his eyes off her. Oblivious to them, Angela was capturing the video of the beautiful moment.
Cath sat on the sofa holding her baby as Rasmus stood beside her. Hunter was leaning against the wall in the corner, sulking a bit. Emma and Angela were beaming at Aurora.
Xander walked to Draken who stepped forward taking Aurora's hand from Xander.
The priest started the wedding and it was time for them to say their vows.
"I, Draken, take you, Aurora, to be my wife, my other half, and partner. I will work to create a bond of honesty, respect, acceptance, and gratitude; one that withstands the tides of time and changes and grows along with us." Draken said as Aurora blinked at him. She was a nervous wreck.
She hasn't prepared her vows so she said whatever that comes to her mind because she knew he did the same. "I, Aurora, take you, Draken, to be my husband, my other half, and partner. I vow to cherish and accept you for all that you are and will become, taking pride in who we are both together and individually." Draken squeezed her hands, noticing them tremble.
