"I promise to challenge you and to accept challenges from you. I promise to love you in good times and in bad. I promise to treasure you. These things I give to you now and throughout the seasons of our lives." Draken said as his intense gaze peered down at her. Her heart stuttered in her chest when he said the word love. Was he saying it by heart or just for the need of it? Goosebumps rose on her flesh when she saw specs of gold in his eyes, his wolf peeking at her.
Her wolf surged forward and silver swirled in her eyes as her wolf peered at him.
"I promise to l...love you when life seems easy and when it seems hard, when our love is simple, and when it is an effort. I promise to hold you in the highest regard. These things I give to you now and throughout the seasons of our lives." She whispered and these vows were uttered from the bottom of her heart. Not for the need of the situation but because she wanted to say it. This was how she felt. She has fallen for him.
Draken cupped her cheek gently as he dropped his head lower and took her lips in a soft kiss as they sealed their wedding.
Aurora pulled back first all flustered as she avoided meeting anyone's gaze. She had never gotten intimate in front of so many eyes.
Draken grabbed her waist pulling her closer as he pecked her forehead. He didn't care anymore. He wanted her family to see what he truly feels for her.
Everyone congratulated them. Aurora was smiling when her eyes fell on the person standing near the main door glaring at her with such hatred that it wiped the smile off her face.
Without a word, Luca left. Draken noticed her pale face as he placed his hand on the small of her back and pulled her closer whispering in her ear, "What's wrong?" Aurora blinked as she looked at him and shook her head.
"You look ravishing, baby." He rasped as his hot breath hit her ear making her shiver.
She turned crimson. "Y...you look handsome yourself," She mumbled softly not meeting his gaze and he smirked at her shyness.
It was in the late afternoon when they changed and said their goodbyes when Agatha approached Draken.
"Can I talk to you for a bit?" Agatha asked and Draken nodded. He has been curious about the woman since the moment he saw her. He knew she was a witch.
They walked a little away as Agatha's eyes hardened. "Your revenge could destroy your happiness boy," Agatha said straightforwardly as Draken glared at her.
"And who are you to advise me?" He queried sharply.
"I have got a student. She's an amazing seer. She has a vision of you sacrificing your love for your revenge," Agatha said coldly. Aurora was special to her. If this man would hurt her, she would kill him before that and Draken could tell this woman was one heck of a strong witch.
"I'm no fool. I won't do such a thing," Draken gritted out as Agatha narrowed her eyes at him.
The vision was something else other than this but Agatha knew he was blinded by rage and this revenge would not only hurt him but Aurora as well.
"I can tell you where she is," Agatha said and Draken's eyes widened slightly.
"Tell me!" He gritted out.
"She's in the castle of Alpha King," Agatha said and his blood boiled in fury.
"How do you know?" Draken asked.
"I have my ways," Agatha muttered as he inhaled deeply.
"How is this possible?" Draken hissed.
"She knows you are after her and Alpha King is after you. This was her safest option," Agatha stated as Draken clenched his jaw to control his anger.
"No harm would come to Aurora. Rest assured," Draken said as he turned to leave when Agatha spoke up.
"Silvia had told me you'll have a happy family with Aurora, only if you succeed to protect her," Agatha said.
Draken assumed that Silvia was the seer. His heart thumped at the thought of a family with Aurora.
This witch didn't have to warn him because he would destroy the whole world to keep Aurora safe.
And that woman could hide wherever she wanted. Draken would dig her out and kill her with his own hands.
Walking to Aurora he nodded at her family once before he helped her into the car and got inside. His men who were staying in the packhouse as well, took their seats as the car was put to drive.
Aurora waved at her family and slowly they blurred away. She sighed and wiped the tear instantly as she rested her back on the seat.
Draken snaked his arm around her waist and pulled her to him as he kissed her cheek.
She abruptly moved away flustered while looking at the warriors who were sitting in the front. She gave him a warning look not to touch her in front of them and he smirked before pressing a red button as the partition rolled up.
He pulled her onto his lap and cupped her cheek. "I don't like it when your family steals you away from me," he grumbled as she blinked at him.
"Draken," She warned him curtly and he scoffed before dipping his neck in the crook of her neck inhaling her scent.
She was stiff in his arms before she slowly relaxed in his warmth.
It was in the evening when Aurora shifted on the seat feeling hot. She stirred as her breathing became heavy.
Draken tensed beside her and his eyes widened when her scent got a million times stronger in the car.
He stared at her, who had her lips parted and breathing heavily. He gently touched her cheek and she shuddered and the sparks were electrifying.
"You're on heat, Aurora." He rasped as her wide eyes met his.
Suddenly the car came to an abrupt halt with the screeching noise. Draken held Aurora, steading her before she could hit the partition.
A loud howl was heard before their car was attacked by two wolves.
His warriors jumped out of the car shifting and fighting off those wolves.
Aurora looked so scared as Draken grabbed her hand and they got out of the car.
There was darkness surrounding them and they were in the middle of an empty highway with woods surrounding the sides of the road.
Draken saw a wolf dashing towards them as he pushed Aurora towards the woods.
"Run!" He growled as his eyes met her terror-filled ones.
Her wolf surged forward and silver swirled in her eyes as her wolf peered at him.
