"NOOO!" She screamed, punching his back but to no avail. She barely registered where he was taking her before she found herself in an unfamiliar room and then all the breath was knocked out of her system when he tossed her on the bed as if she was a mere thing.
She gathered her bearings and sat up abruptly, brushing her hair away from her face as she found him near the door, and the sound of him bolting the door echoed in the grim silence.
She was panting, her eyes wide as she kept her gaze fixed on the predator. He slowly turned around and she gulped scurrying out of the bed. In her haste, she was about to fall face first on the floor but she balanced herself.
Her throat was all dry and there was a stone-like obstruction in her throat. As soon as he took a step forward, she took two steps back though she was on the other side of the bed, far from him but still, the distance between them did nothing to ease her worry.
"I d...don't want this," She said shakily and he clenched his jaw.
"Get on the bed," He commanded coldly and she shook her head frantically.
"N..no." She was persistent.
"Don't disobey me," He gritted out and her chin quivered.
The way her heart was beating at an abnormal pace, she was sure she would die of a heart attack at any rate.
"I said I...I don't want this." She said with mustered-up courage and he narrowed his eyes at her in a warning.
Without another word, he started to prowl toward her and her heart stuttered.
Aurora tried to dash to the ensuite bathroom but he was fast. His arm circled her waist and pulled her to him. Her back was plastered to his front as he kept her in place.
"Let go!" She screamed and struggled wildly in his hold. She slammed her foot on his but he didn't even flinch. She could feel the sparks where her hands touched his arms but she was in hysteria to get away from him.
"Calm down," he said but she couldn't even hear him with the wild pounding of her heart in her ears.
Her nails dug in the flesh of his arm and he hissed in a grimace before picking her up he roughly tossed her on the bed causing her body to bounce on it slightly.
She grunted and tried to crawl out of the bed but his hand circled her ankle and he roughly yanked her back on the bed and turned her around so she was facing him.
Her heart came to her mouth as she started screaming and clawing at his face.
He winced and grabbed her wrists before slamming them on the bed on either side of her head.
Aurora's wide eyes gazed at him horrified as she tried to free her wrists but to no avail. Her eyes glossed up as she struggled harder but it was of no use.
Her strength was futile in comparison to him. He was far stronger than her. She was in a compromised condition, at his mercy. If he wants he could do anything to her and she won't be able even to stop him.
"P...please," She whispered shakily.
He glared down at her. Her whole body was trembling at how close he was, hovering over her.
"What the f*ck are you so scared of?" He growled as his hold tightened on her wrists.
She flinched badly and her eyes closed shut.
P..please... let me go," She hiccuped and he gnashed his molars.
"What was your relation with that f*cking beta of your pack?" His voice was cold as ice.
She slowly opened her eyes as she took in small sharp breaths to stay conscious. Her body was traumatized with fear that even the most minor task of breathing was difficult for her.
"W..what?" She stuttered, blinking at him to clear her vision.
"Do you love him?" He gritted out in rage and she winced because of the brutal hold on her wrists.
"I don't know w..what you're saying," She whimpered and he clenched his jaw.
He swiftly pushed both of her wrists above her head and held them there with one of his hands as he grabbed her face with his free hand, four fingers pressed firmly on her cheek on one side and thumb on the other cheek as he made her look into his dark eyes.
"What is your relation with Luca?" He asked menacingly causing raw terror to grip her form when she saw flecks of gold in his eyes, his wolf peering down at her.
He looked lethal.
She was so scared to even form a word. "N...nothing..." She stammered and he raised a brow at her.
"Did he touch you?" He asked coldly and she shook her head. Closing her eyes shut in fear as a tear trickled down her temple.
"N..no..." She hiccuped and he visibly relaxed. His hold on her wrists loosened.
She could feel his calloused hand on her cheek as his touch which was harsh before softened. The rough pad of his thumb caressed her lower lip and her breath hitched as she tried to dissolve in the mattress. Tremors of fear coursed through her body.
"Good." He muttered as his eyes turned back to normal and he got off her. She flinched when she felt the bed dip from beside her as he sat there. She was still in the same position weeping silently.
She thought it was over but her breathing hitched when she felt him holding her hand in his big one.
Her eyes shot open as she instantly pulled her hand out of his hold and scooted away from him.
Draken had an emotionless face as he gazed at her.
"Come here," He commanded but she didn't move from her place. Her eyes pleaded with him to let her go but it only caused him to frown.
Grabbing her ankle he yanked her to him causing her dress to raise as she shrieked and instantly pulled her dress down covering her thighs.
"I've to hurt you a little," He said, taking out a small pocket knife and her heart lurched to her mouth. Without thinking she pulled out the fork from her sleeve and tried to attack him but he was fast as he caught her wrist mid-air and his eyes narrowed at the fork.
Snatching it out of her hand he threw it away and she jolted badly when he jerked her closer.
"Do you want to die, Aurora?" He asked icily, causing her to shake her head as more tears poured out of her eyes.
"Open your legs then!" He demanded coldly.
