                    Natasha's pov:
"So what are you doing for summer holidays hm?" Nico asks me in P.E, the last class on Friday. "Honestly, I don't know. Vincent hasn't decided on anything so it looks like I'm staying here for the two months." I reply as I bat the shuttlecock back towards Xavier.
Playing badminton with Nico and the twins has now become my new favourite P.E game.
"That's nice though, Brazil is gorgeous in the summer." Nico gets ready to whack the shuttlecock back to Xander. "But you're prettier." I overhear him murmur. "What about you? Are you staying here or going back to Cali?" I slam the shuttlecock down near the net. "My Dad said that I could go back home but I still haven't decided yet." He sprints forward and saves us a deduction.
"Well what are you waiting for? July starts tomorrow so I would be getting on that flight if I were you." I jog backwards and whack the shuttlecock hard to go far into enemy territory.
"I was hoping that we could spend summer together." He says with a smirk. "Oh my god that would be so nice! We could go parasailing, kayaking, and all the beach picnic dates." I twirl around at the thought whilst Nico stands there admiring me. "A girl could dream." I finalise and slam the final shuttlecock down with my racquet, indicating that we've won.
Xander rolls his eyes at my cheesy celebration so I stick my tongue out at him and he grins.
The last bell of the school year rings and everyone cheers. "Here comes summer!" I celebrate. Nico takes my racquet and places it back. "So when's the next time that we can hangout Ms.Perfect?" He ruffles my hair. "Hmm, I'll have to check my calendar then I'll let you know." I wink at him.
"Call again tonight?" He asks as we walk towards the changing rooms.
"Duhh." I smile at him before he disappears behind the male changing door. The truth was, Nico and I have been sleeping on call together for the past week. Apparently he always waits for me to go to bed first, he's too cute. I go into the changing rooms and pack up all my stuff.
Even my locker is already cleared out.
I patiently wait for Xavier and Xander to come out. As I wait, I feel a tap on my shoulder. It's Dylan! "Yo, did Flynn and Seb's plane land yet?" He inquires. "Yeah it landed ages ago. They're gone for the summer." I sadly smiled. I've spent the past 9 summers with them so this year feels different.
Vincent didn't want to send me back to London for the summer, saying that he has something planned.
"Don't worry, you have your boyfriend to hangout with for the summer anyways." He winks at me. "He's not my boyfriend yet silly. Don't jinx it." My eyes widen at him. "I got you." He winks at me and leaves for the summer. After a few minutes Xavier and Xander finally show up.
"Took you long enough." I roll my eyes at their delay.
"You did well on that match." Xavier puts my head into a headlock and shuffles my hair. "We got smoked." Xander folds his arms at the sight of us. "Cmon, we don't wanna be late or Vincent will kill us." Xander gently pushes Xavier which makes him immediately let me go. They start rushing to the car and I struggle to keep up.
"Hey! Why are we running? Is there an appointment or something?" I question as we sprint to Xander's car.
"No time to explain, let's go." Xander rushes us as we hop into the car. He speeds down the road as soon as we get in. "What's the problem? What's happening?" I ask puzzled. "You'll find out later." Xavier vaguely answered. What's that supposed to mean? What is so secretive that they can't tell me?
What are they hiding from me?
Xander soon pulls up to the garage and we all hurry out of the car. Adrien pops up out of nowhere. "Nat go to your room and change into something comfortable." He instructs me. Huh? He's acting weird too, something must be up. I scurry up to my walk in wardrobe and change into white sweatpants and a pink tube top.
It's simple, but effective.
I dump my school bag on the floor, knowing that the next time I'll pick it up will be in September. Before I exit the mini room, I notice something in my closets. My pink sundress is gone from my dress section, my white shorts have disappeared and all my bikinis are gone too!
Some of my clothes are missing, this isn't good.
I immediately rush downstairs to inform one of my biological brothers that someone took my clothes. I spot Chase rushing in and out of the garage. "Chase! I have an emergency!" I run up to him. His turns all of his attention onto me. "What happened Amor? Are you hurt?" His concern for my health takes number 1.
"I'm physically okay but someone stole my clothes!" I tell him the problem at hand.
His face automatically relaxes after I speak. "This is just a misunderstanding Amor." He places one hand on my shoulder. "Oi! Ev'ryone in!" Adrien shouts, calling everyone down. Hold up, this is the first time everyone is in normal clothes. Usually at least someone would be in a tux or a work outfit but now, everyone has a casual outfit on.
"What is going on?" I question why everyone is gathered here.
"Let's get in the cars." Vincent instructs in jeans and a button up hawaiian print shirt. I think my eyes deceive me. I rub them again, thinking that I'm not seeing clearly. "Princess? Is there a problem?" He places a hand on my back and helps me into Chase's jeep. "Vince, nobody is telling me where we're going or what's going on. And why the hell are you in a beach shirt?" I genuinely voice out my concern.
He understands my worries and caresses my cheek, trying to hide his smile at my beachwear comment.
"Don't worry Princess, I'll explain everything once we arrive at our first destination." He cups my face and sits beside me. What does he mean by first destination? Are there multiple destinations? Where the hell are we headed? "It's a long ride there, a little nap won't do any harm." He offers.
I snuggle in close to his arm, leaning against his hard biceps.
Time Passes:
"Sunshine, Sunshine, we're here." Adrien gently shakes me awake. I blink open my eyes and realise that I'm the only one left in the car. The light from outside beams down. "Where are we?" I squint as I get out of the vehicle. "This way Gorgeous." Adrien guides me towards the same plane that I came here on.
It's their private jet, I recognise the aircraft model.
"All the luggage is already stowed away, we just need everyone on board and we can take off." Adrien helps me up the stairs. This is all going too fast for me. "What luggage? Everyone on board? Take off?" I question the words that he just said. Adrien gets me inside and I spot the rest of my brothers chilling around in the beige-coloured cabin.
"For the love of god, can SOMEONE please inform me on what's happening?" I drop my arms in frustration.
Adrien's hands rest on my shoulders. "Surprise! It's holiday season." Adrien cheers and guides me to a spare seat. "Holiday season? What are you talking about?" I look out the window to find out that we're at a private airport. These bio brothers are bougie like that.
"We're going to stay at our fifth house for two months." Xavier clarifies and I feel shocked to my core.
"FIFTH HOUSE?" My jaw is officially dropped. "It's a bit rural but I like the scenic view." Vincent states, not taking his eyes off of his work laptop laid out in front of him. "So are you going to be Mr.Workaholic for the whole of summer or are you actually gonna have fun?" I fold my arms at his state.
"Adrien, Leo, Chase and I will be working half-time during the week because we still have a business to run, but you and the twins are completely free." He elucidates whilst clacking on his keyboard.
"Hold up, before I get all excited, where are we actually going?" I request a country. "Ever heard of the Amalfi Coast?" Chase holds up a brochure for Italy's finest restaurants. "OH, MY, GOD." I squeal in joy. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I burst into happiness.
"We wanted your first vacation back to be a memorable one, what better way to do that than with the west of Italy?" Leo gulps down his iced beverage.
"This summer is bouta be litt." Xander relaxes into the expensive leather chair. I scoot over to a seat opposite him. A deck of cards lay in front of us. Xander flips open the pop-up wooden table and takes out the cards from the box. "You know how to play spit?" He begins shuffling the deck.
"Do I know how to play spit?" I point towards myself in disbelief.
"I am the master of Spit buddy, you have no idea what's coming your way." I warn and begins laying out my side of cards. I flip my cards and realise that my selection is impeccable. I take a deep breath to trick Xander into thinking that I'm nervous, and I crack my knuckles. "One, two, three." He calls out and the round begins.
The first round of many.
Time Passes:
"How far away is this villa?" I groan as we're all squished together at the back of a sweaty car. "Only an hour or two." Adrien lets me sit on his lap. "I'm so tired." I lean against him. "I know Sunshine, I know. It'll be over before you know it." He holds me tight. "When we get there, we can rest for the remainder of the day mk?" He promises me.
"Bet." I sigh and snuggle into him, watching the sun sink into the horizon.
The plane ride was fine, but I wish I had some notice to the trip. I would've loved stalking Pinterest for fit inspo over the past few weeks. Now I can't hangout with Nico all summer, but I have a harbouring feeling that this summer will be fun in its own way. I have my biological brothers and they have me, things are looking on the bright side.
Time Passes:
"Shh! You're gonna wake her up." I hear Xander shush someone. I feel my body being elevated into his supposed arms. "I'm bringing her to the spare suite." He announces and carries me up the stairs. I hear the door creek open and I shuffle closer towards his chest. I feel my body being softly placed on cold linen sheets, it smells like coconut.
"Sleep well my love." I feel his soft lips brush against my forehead.
I slightly open one eyelid when he turns around. As I hear his footsteps, I murmur "Stay and cuddle with me?" He immediately turns back around and jumps into bed, causing everything to shake. "Hey! I'm tired." I complain and nudge closer towards him. "My bad love." He jumps into the covers and lets me hold onto him.
"Get some rest beautiful, you'll need it." He kisses my head as I lean against him.
