The small wooden building was even covered with thatched roofs. It was very intriguing. On the second floor, there was a fixed stone table and stone chairs. There were also stone cups on the table.
Matthew poured a glass of water for Athena. "The owner of this restaurant, Thaddeus Orion, claims to be a descendant of the legendary huntsman Orion.
"He said they lived in the mountains for thousands of years and were isolated from the world. They lacked iron pots, shovels, and other iron tools for a long time and could only use rocks to cook their food. Gradually, it becomes a specialties of his family."
Athena asked curiously, "Is it delicious?"
Matthew nodded. "I think it's excellent. The taste is very unique."
Athena was also looking forward to it. "If you say it's is good, it must be."
While they were talking, a handsome caveman and a beautiful cavewoman had already brought in food and placed them on the table.
All the cutlery was also made of stone, including forks, bowls and plates, spoons and knives, and so on. They were well-made too. Athena cluck her tongue in wonder.
Matthew gave Athena a piece of fish.
Athena's eyes lit up after taking a bite. "It tastes like food cooked in the wild." She could just imagine finding ingredients from the wild, cooking on the stone, sprinkling some salt, and then eating it. It was rough, bold, and natural. The original taste of the food had a "stone" essence that was completely different from food made in pots and cooked over gas.
When Matthew saw Athena eating happily, his eyes revealed a doting look that even he could not detect. He kept serving food for her and did not eat much himself.
After eating a grilled fish and drinking a bowl of wild mushroom soup, Athena remembered to ask, "Didn't you say that you had technical problems and wanted my help?"
"We can watch it while we eat." Matthew took out his laptop, clicked on the video of the car accident, and put it in front of Athena. "Here you go, Miss Donovan. This video is very long. I've made annotations. You can skip the non-essential parts for now."
Athena only watched for two minutes before her eyes widened. "Is this a video of your sister's car accident?"
Even though Athena could not see the face of the woman in the car, she could tell from the tragic state of the car accident that it was related to Lucy's condition.
Matthew nodded. "Yes."
Athena quickly saw the part where the truck driver and the truck exploded. Her expression became grave. "You were just in time, but the timing you arrived at was coincidental. The explosion occurred not long after you arrived. The murderer might want to kill you too."
Matthew was reaching for his glass when he paused. He stared deeply at Athena. "Very astute, Miss Donovan." He put down the wine glass, his eyes filled with admiration. "My sister's car accident is a secret, and so is my encounter that night. I'm telling you this but I hope you won't be frightened."
