While the Donovan family headed out for a celebratory meal, Isaac was still stuck in his luxury car, unable to get into Vission Group's headquarters.
He'd been parked across from their office in Kitmore City since yesterday, but the doors remained firmly closed, with no sign of anyone coming or going. His calls weren't going through either.
He couldn't figure out what he had done to piss off Vission Group so much that they wouldn't even give him a chance to meet.
"Why the hell is Vission Group being so ruthless?" Regina complained as she applied her lipstick. "The West End is one of the most economically powerful regions in the country. We've spent six years busting our asses to help them break into this market. Would they be where they are without us?"
"This is burning bridges in the worst way! A shady company like that won't last long—I can't wait to see them go under!" Regina fumed.
Whether Vission Group would go down after cutting ties with Kennedy Group was anyone's guess, but when the stock market opened today, Kennedy Group's shares hit rock bottom.
Even the top executives were considering dumping their shares. If things continued like this, Kennedy Group might be looking at delisting.
"Quit the cursing," Isaac said, rubbing his temples. "No matter how pissed we are, we still need to figure out a way to get in touch with Vission Group and beg them..."
"If Vission Group really won't give us the time of day, I'll spread rumors all over the West End that their products are crap and knock-offs. I'll destroy their reputation!" Regina snapped.
Though Regina's words were impulsive, a fierce determination took root in her mind. 'Maybe this could be the way to get back at Vission,' she thought.
Just then, a series of knocks on the car window interrupted her thoughts. Regina turned to see Zoe and Andrew standing outside, leaning down to knock.
Regina rolled down the window with a smile. "What brings you two here?"
"Andrew and I were out shopping when he mentioned that you were still here, so we thought we'd stop by and check on you," Zoe said.
In truth, Zoe's family had been pressing her about the situation between Kennedy Group and Vission. They were losing faith in the Kennedys and considering selling off their shares.
But after Zoe vouched for the Kennedys and expressed confidence in them, her parents sent her to gather more information.
Isaac, touched by their gesture, said, "Since we've bumped into each other, why don't we grab a meal together instead of staying here?"
At that moment, Micah, who was in the driver's seat, suddenly exclaimed, "That's Mr. Freeman's car! He's here!"
Everyone's eyes snapped to the building across the street, where a flashy red Ferrari pulled up and stopped out front.
The door swung open, and Harry stepped out, his long hair cascading over his shoulders. He was dressed in a pink shirt and tinted sunglasses.
The Kennedys and Zoe watched as Harry walked around to the passenger side and opened the door for a stunning young woman with flowing hair and an air of elegance.
Harry closed the door, took her by the wrist, and the two of them strolled toward the building, laughing and chatting as they went.
With a touch of envy, Micah remarked, "Did Mr. Freeman trade up again? His last girls were always more on the sultry side, but this one seems a lot more refined."
Before he could finish, Zoe gasped, "Oh my God! Is that Athena? What's she doing with Harry from Vission Group?"
Harry Freeman was notorious in the industry for his cutthroat business style and wild, carefree lifestyle.
